System And Method For Knowledge Reuse From Infrastructure Interaction Exhaust And Cross-Agent Behavioral Metadata Inference, Eric Zavesky
Defensive Publications Series
A system and method for cross-agent behavioral pattern learning and knowledge reuse from infrastructure interaction exhaust. The system passively captures interaction traces from multiple actors - including autonomous agents, semi-automated processes, and human users - as they interact with databases, APIs, and infrastructure endpoints through heterogeneous surfaces. A semantic inference layer analyzes captured traces to infer properties beyond raw telemetry, including organic field discovery, relevance weighting, prompt-level field alias mining, role frequency and sensitivity determination, and retry-aware intent detection. A pattern sanitization module strips individual actor identity and raw data values while preserving role-scoped organizational tokens, producing parameterized patterns with …

Context-Aware Semantic Method And System For Network-Connected Camera Notification Filtering, Josh Och, Andrew Axley
Defensive Publications Series
A system and method are provided for enhancing the operational intelligence of network-connected cameras through the establishment of camera-specific semantic context. A digital repository is associated with an individual monitoring device to store context metadata representing physical and logical relationships in the device's field of view. The context metadata can be defined via user input or automatically inferred using analytical models that identify historical activity patterns or process environmental feedback. When a monitoring event occurs, the associated context metadata is retrieved and integrated into an evaluation framework, such as an augmented prompt for a generative artificial intelligence model, to analyze …

Leading From The Precipice: How Academic Deans Are Navigating Artificial Intelligence In Higher Education, V. Dozier, Sarina Chugani Molina
Copley Library: Faculty Scholarship
This qualitative case study examines how associate deans at a medium-sized Catholic university respond to the rapid integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI). Guided by decolonial and feminist frameworks, the study analyzes survey data from seven academic leaders to understand their concerns, decision-making processes, and emerging practices. Our findings reveal uneven adoption, limited institutional guidance, and ongoing concerns about academic integrity, equity, and bias. The study also highlights the often-unseen relational and emotional labor involved in supporting faculty and students. We conclude by recommending flexible, collaborative approaches to AI governance that attend to context, care, and diverse ways of knowing.

We establish the theoretical framework and investigate the fundamental limits for an integrated optical chip design containing a rotation sensing ring resonator coupled to an inverse weak value amplified Sagnac interferometer that amplifies the signal with phase information. We achieve, for conservative parameter choices, a minimum detectable angular rotation rate of ∼0.1 °/hr and an Allan deviation of∼0.08 °/hr assuming shot noise limited performance. For matched detected optical power, our design can improve the signal-to-noise ratio, reduce the minimum detectable angular rotation rate, and Allan deviation by more than ten times compared to an ideal standard Sagnac interferometer with balanced …
From Retrieval To Generation: Building And Evaluating An Ai Accompanist For Piano Duets With An Anticipatory Music Transformer, Sai Ruthvik Uppala
From Retrieval To Generation: Building And Evaluating An Ai Accompanist For Piano Duets With An Anticipatory Music Transformer, Sai Ruthvik Uppala
Masters Theses
Systems that accompany a live musician, such as ACCompanion, work by retrieval: they hold a written accompaniment and stretch its timing to follow the soloist, so they can only accompany music whose second part already exists as a score. This thesis asks whether that second part can instead be generated, and specifically whether a machine learning model can write an accompaniment for a piece whose score it has never seen. A player performs the primo, the melody; a model produces the secondo, the accompaniment; and a score follower places the generated notes against the live performance. If this works, a …

3D printing via stereolithography (SLA) enables high-resolution polymer components, but as-printed parts may exhibit incomplete polymerization and reduced mechanical performance. This study investigates the effects of UV post-curing time on SLA-printed elastic photopolymer resin. Specimens were evaluated using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), uniaxial tensile testing (ASTM D412 Type C), and Durometer Type M hardness testing. Results show that increased post-curing enhances crosslink density, tensile strength, elastic modulus, and hardness, while extended curing may reduce ductility. An optimal post-curing window balancing stiffness and flexibility was identified. Testing datasets include DSC (dsc/), tensile testing (tensile/), and hardness testing (hardness/) results for uncured …

Toward Reliable Compressive Strength Prediction Of Marble Powder-Blended Concrete: Comparative Machine Learning And Shap-Based Interpretability, Shamal Abdullah Mohammed, Aryan Far H. Sherwani, Nzar Shakr Piro
Polytechnic Journal
The production of conventional concrete has a significant impact on the environment, primarily due to the cement (C) component. To mitigate this impact, binders with reduced environmental footprints were used in concrete mixtures as a partial replacement for C, including powders of industrial byproducts. Waste marble powder (WMP) is one such alternative; however, its incorporation causes complicated interactions with cementitious materials, making the compressive strength (CS) prediction difficult. This study developed and evaluated four predictive models (multilinear regression (MLR), full quadratic regression (FQ), M5P tree, and artificial neural network (ANN)) using a dataset of 306 WMP-blended concrete mixes from 16 …

In an era of political, ecological and epistemic uncertainty, design his tory is frequently employed to lend legitimacy to optimistic narratives of progress, or to provide readymade references for contemporary practice and education. However, this text argues that such approach es reduce historical knowledge to a linear and instrumental resource, thereby obscuring its role within longer and more complex cycles of per ception and production. Here, the historical process is examined as an iterative cycle that en compasses both material production and perception. Building on the work of David Walker and Nigel Cross, the analysis considers how ma terial production …
Caldwell Medical‑System Stability & Thermal‑Power Upgrade Engine (Cms‑Stpue‑1.0), Michael Victor Caldwell Mr.
Caldwell Medical‑System Stability & Thermal‑Power Upgrade Engine (Cms‑Stpue‑1.0), Michael Victor Caldwell Mr.
Defensive Publications Series
Medical devices — including neural implants, biosignal processors, dementia‑research chips, microfluidic analyzers, wearable diagnostic systems, and many other forms of medical hardware — require extremely stable electrical power, predictable thermal behavior, low‑noise operation, and long‑term reliability. Traditional medical systems struggle with voltage droop, thermal drift, microfluidic instability, and resonant interference, all of which degrade biological signal fidelity and reduce device lifetime.
This invention introduces the Caldwell Medical‑System Stability & Thermal‑Power Upgrade Engine (CMS‑STPUE‑1.0), a unified framework that applies four existing Caldwell engineering inventions — CVGTC‑3.1, CCVTE‑3.x, CVGTC‑2.x, and the Multi‑Core Thermal‑Hydraulic Upgrade Suite — to significantly enhance the stability, reliability, …
Safe Transactional Execution And Reversible Staging For Autonomous Agent Actions, N/A
Safe Transactional Execution And Reversible Staging For Autonomous Agent Actions, N/A
Defensive Publications Series
This specification outlines a safety-centric runtime infrastructure designed to facilitate secure, transactional execution for autonomous computer systems. Autonomous software agents operating under large language models frequently interact with local and remote filesystems, execution environments, and external program interfaces. Because conventional execution environments process such operations immediately under a fire-and-forget paradigm, a failure or interruption during a multi-step task can leave the host environment in an inconsistent or partially modified state. The runtime architecture disclosed herein resolves these reliability concerns by wrapping agent operations in a transaction coordinator. This framework provides isolated, rollback-capable staging for local operations, records undo logs for …

Comparative Experimental Investigation Of Corrugated Solar Air Heater Using Porous Media And Twisted Tapes, Hussam J. Rashid, Mohammed K. Al-Saadi, Ameer Jaddoa
Engineering and Technology Journal
This experimental work examines the thermal, thermohydraulic, and exergetic performance of a modified revised multi duct solar air heater (SAH) under real outdoor conditions. Four configurations were examined, including a smooth collector, ducts with corrugation, porous-lined ducts, and corrugated ducts equipped with inserted twisted tapes over the investigated Reynolds number (Re) interval (2000–10,000). The airflow was supplied by a DC fan powered directly by photovoltaic modules. Introducing internal flow-modifying elements resulted in a marked enhancement of the SAH heat transfer capability, as confirmed by the experimental observations. When compared to the smooth absorber, among the tested configurations, the twisted tape …

Studying Electromagnetic Wave Scattering From Small Dielectric Particles Using Neural Networks, Bryan Taylan, Patrick Corzo, Chris Velissaris, Theodoros Panagiotakopoulos
Undergraduate Scholarship and Creative Works
Physics-informed neural networks solve the Helmholtz equation without labeled data, but a low residual alone does not confirm that a solution preserves the physical distinction a downstream task depends on. We trained a four-layer SIREN with physics-based residuals, a Sommerfeld condition, Adam, and L-BFGS, modeling a Gaussian source and a plane wave scattering from a small dielectric inclusion. Fine-tuning from four base models produced 600 complex fields spanning omega = 4 to 20. A compact CNN, three ResNet-18 variants, and a frozen OpenCLIP encoder classified these fields under five random seeds. The CNN achieved (95.65 +/- 0.77)% accuracy, outperforming OpenCLIP …

UB Journal for Humanities
This study examines the impact of temporary housing policies on social stability in the context of slum redevelopment in Jeddah, focusing on the effectiveness of transitional housing mechanisms in mitigating displacement impacts. It adopts a descriptive-analytical approach within a qualitative case study, drawing on theoretical frameworks, international standards, expert interviews, and analysis of official documents. The findings show that housing security was organizationally achieved through rental support, but remained limited due to its temporary nature and unclear continuity. They also reveal weakened social ties caused by the absence of policies preserving community networks, along with challenges in accessing services despite …

Current Advances In Cancer Immunotherapy: Mechanisms, Therapeutic Strategies, Challenges, And Future Perspectives, Mohamed E. Abd El-Hack, Mahmoud Moustafa, Mahmoud Kamal, Vincenzo Tufarelli, Muhammad Arif, Laith Aldabbagh
Al-Mustaqbal Journal of Pharmaceutical and Medical Sciences
Cancer immunotherapy has emerged as a transformative therapeutic strategy that harnesses the host immune system to recognize and eliminate malignant cells. This review provides a comprehensive overview of current immunotherapeutic approaches, including immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), cancer vaccines, dendritic cell (DC)-based vaccines, chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy, and oncolytic virus therapy. The mechanisms of action, therapeutic applications, and clinical benefits of each modality are discussed. Monoclonal antibodies selectively target tumor-associated antigens, whereas ICIs restore antitumor immunity by blocking inhibitory immune checkpoints. Cancer vaccines and DC-based vaccines enhance antigen-specific immune responses, while CAR-T cell therapy employs genetically …

An autonomous pipeline that both detects issues and acts on them (filing tickets, refreshing a reference corpus, adopting a new rule) will, almost as soon as it does more than one kind of consequential thing, produce more than one kind of moment where its own judgment is not trustworthy enough to act on unsupervised. The conventional response is a bespoke review mechanism per kind of uncertainty, added piecemeal as each is discovered during development: a findings-review screen here, an admin flag there, a Slack thread for whatever comes up next.
