Large Language Model (Llm) – Agent System For Register Transfer Level (Rtl) Transformation, N/A Feb 2026

Large Language Model (Llm) – Agent System For Register Transfer Level (Rtl) Transformation, N/A

Defensive Publications Series

The technology described in this paper relates to transformation of functional register-transfer level (RTL) hardware designs for implementation by electronic design automation (EDA) physical synthesis tools. An intelligent, autonomous, and self-correcting RTL transformation system that is based on large language models (LLMs) is proposed. The system includes an LLM agent that is based on one or more LLM models, and a robust closed-loop transformation validation agent that is integrated with the LLM agent. A continuous feedback loop is used to allow the agent for RTL transformation validation to provide feedback to the LLM agent as error messages. The LLM interprets …

Avoiding Fabric Congestion Using An Sr-Te Agent For Ai Training Using Existing Data Centers, Zafar Ali, Clarence Filsfils, Francois Clad, Pablo Camarillo, Bruce Mcdougall

Defensive Publications Series

Existing approaches for managing congestion in an artificial intelligence (AI) data center (DC) network fabric typically involve dedicated hardware and are often reactive in nature. Proposed herein are techniques that can be utilized to avoid fabric congestion instead of building reactive techniques with new hardware. Specifically, a Segment Routing-Traffic Engineering (SR-TE) agent is proposed herein that can be utilized to avoid fabric congestion, which can enable enterprises to use their existing data centers for AI training.

Methodological Design And Performance Simulation Of A 25 Mw Grid-Connected Solar Pv Plant Using Pvsyst, Sura H. Hassan, Ghassan A. Bilal, Ali A. Ismaeel

Engineering and Technology Journal

The weakness of the energy transmission system is one of the primary challenges facing Iraq, significantly contributing to the country’s economic crisis due to its reliance on non-renewable energy sources. The rise in oil prices increased electricity production costs. These issues, including weak transmission, can be addressed by integrating renewable energy with the grid. This research presented a methodology for designing and simulating a 25 MW grid-connected photovoltaic station. It used the PVsyst System program to predict energy production and AutoCAD to develop the layout. The steps included evaluating the site, selecting solar units, configuring inverters, and integrating them with …

Adaptive Wheelchair Control Using Fuzzy Logic And Eye Gaze Metrics, Hanan J. Abdulkareem, Sadik K. Gharghan, Saad Mutashar Feb 2026

Adaptive Wheelchair Control Using Fuzzy Logic And Eye Gaze Metrics, Hanan J. Abdulkareem, Sadik K. Gharghan, Saad Mutashar

Engineering and Technology Journal

Intelligent wheelchair systems are crucial for enabling hands-free mobility in individuals with severe physical impairments. This paper presents a novel eye-movement-based wheelchair control system that integrates camera-based gaze detection with fuzzy logic decision-making. By analyzing the Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR), along with horizontal and vertical gaze ratios, the system interprets real-time eye movements into five navigational commands: “Move Forward,” “Move Backward,” “Move Left,” “Move Right,” and “Stop.” A time threshold mechanism (2–5 seconds) ensures intentionality by filtering out involuntary gaze fluctuations. The novelty of this work lies in its hybrid use of real-time video processing and fuzzy logic reasoning to …

Navigating Intersectional Margins: A Multilevel Analysis Of First- And Second-Generation Immigrant Students’ Academic Outcomes Within Urban Coethnic Communities, Douglas D. Havard, Minh Truong, Sophie Nguyen, Richard Vo, Luis Truong, Nellie Nguyen, Ryan Dam

Education Faculty Articles and Research

This study examines how structural and cultural forms of capital interact to shape the academic attainment of first- and second-generation immigrant students within urban coethnic communities. Drawing on data from the Children of Immigrants Longitudinal Study and hierarchical multinomial logistic regression, we integrate Yosso's community cultural wealth and the cultural and structural coethnic frameworks to examine how socioeconomic resources, bilingual fluency, and coethnic community strength predict postsecondary outcomes. Findings reveal that strong coethnic networks, bilingual fluency, and faith-based participation offset structural disadvantage. Results reframe the immigrant paradox through an intersectional, asset-based lens, emphasizing community-driven supports for equity-focused urban education policy.

Cellular Therapy For The Treatment Of Ischemic Limb Disease, Akazha Nicole Green Feb 2026

Cellular Therapy For The Treatment Of Ischemic Limb Disease, Akazha Nicole Green

ETDs from 2020-2029

Ischemic limb disease continues to pose major clinical challenges. The effect of this disease causes restricted blood flow, which is followed by a limited ability to regenerate in the vascular tissues. The purpose of this study is to address the current limitations in producing large-scale generation of Smooth Muscle Cells (SMCs) derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) and then assessing their potential therapeutic efficiency individually and in combination with endothelial cells (ECs) for vascular repair. A dynamic three-dimensional (3D) culture system was integrated with a two- dimensional (2D) expansion to enhance cell culture yield while maintaining contractile marker …

Solar-Xr: Comparing The Usability Of Touch And Raycast Gesture Input Techniques In An Educational Xr Application, James Clarke, Purity Biwott, Claudia Rivera, Marisa Llorens-Salvador, Mariana Rocha, Jack O’Neill, Tang Ming, Paul Doyle

Research Outputs: 2025-Present

This study investigates the comparative usability of two common bare-hand input techniques, touch and raycast, in the context of an educational extended reality (XR) application. An XR educational solar system application developed by the research team, Solar-XR, was used in the study. Thirty-four participants completed a series of tasks using both input methods in a within-subjects design. Usability was assessed using the validated VRSUQ questionnaire, performance was measured through task completion times, and user preferences were collected alongside qualitative feedback. Results showed that the touch input method was rated significantly more usable and was generally preferred by participants. While no …
