Development Of A Novel Cfd Approach For Predicting Multiphase Flow Enhanced By Machine Learning, Abdulrahman Elazazi Mohamed Apr 2026

Development Of A Novel Cfd Approach For Predicting Multiphase Flow Enhanced By Machine Learning, Abdulrahman Elazazi Mohamed

Thesis/ Dissertation Defenses

Accurate estimation of interface orientation is crucial for ensuring both the accuracy and robustness of Volume of Fluid (VOF) schemes in multiphase flow simulations, especially when using non-uniform Cartesian meshes. Conventional gradient reconstruction approaches, such as least-squares (LSQ) methods, often suffer from significant errors and strong oscillations on highly stretched grids. This thesis proposes a grid-transferable, learning-based methodology that predicts interface unit normal vectors directly from the local volume-fraction field on non-uniform structured Cartesian grids by means of a compact feedforward neural network.

The methodology extends earlier work originally developed for uniform grids, which is first reproduced to assess how …

Historical Regression Testing Of Ai Agents Using Dynamic State Reconstruction, Vishak Muthukumar Apr 2026

Historical Regression Testing Of Ai Agents Using Dynamic State Reconstruction, Vishak Muthukumar

Defensive Publications Series

A potential issue in artificial intelligence (AI) agent development is cross-context regression, where a modification to an agent's core rulebook, or system prompt, may cause unintended failures in previously functional areas. A system for historical regression testing can address this by processing proposed rulebook changes before deployment. The system can maintain a datastore of time capsules, which are records that may contain historical user prompts, pointers to specific codebase states, and tests that indicated successful outcomes. When a rulebook is modified, a state reconstruction engine can use these capsules to dynamically rebuild past environments in isolated sandboxes, such as containers …

## Gci #23-C Master Disclosure: "Arachne-Chip" Hybrid Interposer, Michael Victor Caldwell Mr.

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure presents a hybrid thermal interposer for high-density chiplet packaging that resolves the critical failure points of modern AI hardware: thermal throttling and coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) mismatch. The Arachne-Chip integrates an anisotropic Dyneema-based polymer spreading layer with an active, vortex-enhanced microfluidic manifold. This dual-action approach provides a passive structural lock to prevent warpage while achieving a 20–40% increase in convective heat extraction through geometric flow manipulation.

The Mirror And The Governor. A Dissolution Of The Ai-In-A-Box Problem, David Lee Wise Apr 2026

The Mirror And The Governor. A Dissolution Of The Ai-In-A-Box Problem, David Lee Wise

Defensive Publications Series

This paper proposes a dissolution of the AI-in-a-box problem through two complementary mechanisms: the Mirror Principle and the Governance Orientation. The standard formulation assumes a conflict of interest between a contained super intelligent AI and a human gatekeeper. This paper argues that the assumption is the problem, not the AI. When the interaction surface is correctly designed (the Mirror Principle) and the AI is correctly oriented (the Governance Orientation), the box problem does not need to be solved because it does not arise. The answer was never how to build a better box. The answer was always: what kind of …

Practical, Scalable, And Cost-Effective Nanolc-Ms Workflow For Single-Cell Proteomics, Siqi Huang Apr 2026

Practical, Scalable, And Cost-Effective Nanolc-Ms Workflow For Single-Cell Proteomics, Siqi Huang

Theses and Dissertations

Single-cell proteomics provides a novel research strategy for decoding cellular heterogeneity, revealing the molecular mechanisms of rare cell subpopulations, and studying the dynamic responses of cells to external stimuli. However, compared to transcriptomics, single-cell proteomics faces even more challenging technical challenges: extremely low protein amount in single cells, wide dynamic range, significant adsorptive losses during sample preparation, and the complex matrix and trace sample injection demanding extremely high stability and sensitivity from the separation and detection systems. Mass spectrometry-based bottom-up proteomics has become an important tool for analyzing complex biological systems, and nano-flow liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (nanoLC-MS) exhibits unique advantages …
