This study aims to develop a functional ice cream based on dangke whey pro‐ tein with the addition of butterfly pea flower extract. Four formulations were pre‐ pared by varying milk and whey proportions: P1 (100% milk), P2 (60% milk + 40% whey), P3 (40% milk + 60% whey), and P4 (100% whey), with 5% butterfly pea ex‐ tract added to each treatment. The results showed that higher whey substitution decreased pH and overrun values but prolonged the melting resistance of ice cream. Global demand for halal-certified products is rapidly increasing, underscoring the importance of understanding consumer preferences and the impact of halal labelling on purchasing decisions. This study examines the relationship between halal labelling, consumer trust, and purchasing behaviour of beef in modern markets in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. A quantitative survey was conducted with 400 respondents from diverse demographic backgrounds. The results show that 75% of consumers prefer halal-certified beef, with 80% perceiving halal labels as indicators of superior product quality and safety. Logistic regression analysis revealed that consumers who trust halal labels are 2.5 times more likely to purchase halal-certified beef …

Introduction – Fish feed management plays a central role in aquaculture productivity, but it is rarely analysed through a gender lens. This study examines how women and men differ in their use and sourcing of fish feed ingredients in smallholder aquaculture systems in Western Kenya. Drawing on feminist economics, it explores how everyday roles, access to resources, and mobility shape feed practices. ATP-sensitive potassium (KATP) channels are among the most expressed ion channels in skeletal muscle sarcolemma. While all KATP subunits can be detected in skeletal muscles, transcripts are enriched for KCNJ11 and ABCC9, suggesting that noncanonical Kir6.2/SUR2A assembly may constitute the majority of sarcolemmal KATP channels, but there has been no systematic dissection of KATP makeup in skeletal muscles. The relationships between cognitive abilities and mathematics skills are important to examine to help clarify how cognitive abilities promote mathematics development and inform why some individuals have difficulty acquiring mathematics skills. Meta-analyses of cognitive-mathematics relations can help summarize this research across a wide variety of test batteries and samples. This study compiled data from technical manuals of 122 norm-referenced standardized test batteries and included over 47,000 correlations from over 550 correlation matrices to summarize cognitive-mathematics relations using meta-analysis. How Young Mothers’ Interpersonal And Emotional Well-Being Impacts Parental Stress And Dating Violence, Jonathan Jin

This two-part dissertation investigated two distinct, yet interconnected aspects of young mothers’ wellbeing which span individual and interpersonal factors. Study 1 examined how adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are related to parental stress, and how symptoms of anxiety and depression might mediate this association. Within a sample 255 young mothers with an average age of 22.2 (SD = 2.3), the pooled results of a parallel mediation model across 10 imputed datasets indicated a significant average direct effect of ACEs on parental stress (0.25, p < .01), suggesting that experiencing a history of ACEs was significantly associated with more parental stress. Study 2 examined the relationship between young mothers’ romantic attachment, emotion regulation, and dating violence (DV) victimization. In a different sample of 256 young mothers with an average age of 19.8 years (SD = 1.1), more avoidant (less secure) romantic attachment styles (β = 0.26, SE = 0.1, p < 0.01) and more anxious romantic attachment styles (linear component β = 3.81, SE = 0.9, p < 0.001 and quadratic component β = -2.86, SE = 0.9, p < 0.01) were significantly associated with greater DV victimization. Future research may extend this work by using longitudinal designs to test bidirectional links between interpersonal and emotional wellbeing factors among young mothers.

Fatigue cracking is one of the primary distress mechanisms affecting asphalt pavement durability under repeated traffic loading and environmental aging. Although asphalt binders possess an inherent ability to heal micro-damage during rest periods, this healing capacity is often insufficient to fully counter progressive fatigue damage under field conditions. This thesis investigates the fatigue and self-healing behavior of asphalt binders and mixtures modified with nanomaterials and advanced polymer-based systems. This study investigates the structural determinants of student satisfaction with blended learning (BL) within pedagogical professional development modules at a Vietnamese university of education. Utilizing a partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) approach, with a large sample of 1,121 pre-service teachers, the research evaluates the relative influence of five key factors: instructional quality, learner agency and professional awareness, technological infrastructure, course content, and institutional support services. Results indicate a high overall level of student satisfaction. This study investigates the socio-demographic factors associated with readiness to use AI-driven tools in financial decision-making. It uses data from a representative survey of Poles and conceptualises an AI readiness index. It then estimates the relationships between socio-demographic characteristics and this index using an ordinary least squares (OLS) regression model. Additionally, robustness checks are conducted with heteroskedasticityrobust standard errors and multiple imputation. The OLS results were supplemented by one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with Tukey’s Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) post hoc tests to identify groups’ differences. The purpose of this cross-sectional study was to explore older adults' perception of caregiver stress and their anticipation of becoming a caregiver (N = 723). Bivariate analyses revealed that perceived caregiving stress was higher among older adults who were females, White/Non-Hispanics, with chronic health conditions, who had experienced prior physical and financial caregiving burdens and was lower among those with just a high school degree. Multivariate analyses revealed that perceived caregiving stress levels remained higher only for those with past experience with physical caregiving, those with chronic health conditions, older females and White/Non-Hispanic older adults. This disclosure describes a method and system for procedurally generating three-dimensional virtual environments whose spatial composition, asset placement, and atmospheric properties are driven by parameters derived from empirical environmental psychology research. The core innovation is the use of multi-dimensional emotional profile vectors — parameterised from validated human perception studies including prospect-refuge theory, vastness-awe research, and spatial density psychology — as the primary control surface for an automated world generation pipeline.
