The Specifics Of Green Mortgages: A Case Study Of Poland, Mateusz Tomal, Ewa Gorlecka-Łabiak

The green mortgage market in Poland has received limited research attention. Therefore, this article aims to present the specifics of the green mortgage market in Poland. To thoroughly investigate the issue, in-depth interviews were conducted with 12 banking sector representatives, each with varying experience and professional roles. The study’s findings revealed that there is no formal definition of green mortgages, which hinders both banks and their customers. Currently, green mortgages are rarely granted due to their limited economic benefit to borrowers and the small number of residential properties that qualify. During development, stem cells rapidly proliferate and differentiate to form the embryo and the placenta, requiring intensive increases in cellular protein synthesis and changes to the cell architecture. Chaperone proteins, including the small heat shock proteins (HSPs), are critical assistants to protein folding, preventing protein aggregation, and promoting autophagy. Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 4 (MAP3K4) is a stress-activated kinase that promotes fetal and placental growth. MAP3K4 activates p38 and JNK in trophoblast stem (TS) cells by phosphorylating MAP2K3 and MAP2K4/7, respectively. This paper presents a rigorous, particle-free alternative to the standard Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) metric expansion paradigm by unifying the Dimensionally Extended Holographic Projection (DEHP) model and Informational Exomemory Cosmology (IEC). Rather than treating the vacuum as a geometric void expanding via dark energy, we formalize space as a continuous, two-dimensional (2D) viscoelastic phase fluid substrate operating at a resonant baseline (z=0). The five Central Asian countries emerged from Soviet collapse with arbitrarily drawn borders, weak national identities, and deeply complex ethnic and religious landscapes. Predominantly Muslim but heir to seventy years of Soviet secularization, each state contains substantial minority populations. Confronted with these internal fractures, the governments of these countries have since their independence in the 1990s turned to sport as a primary instrument for forging social cohesion, managing interethnic tensions, and legitimizing their authority. Public international maritime law and the law of the sea provide no uniform definition of the 'ship', a lacuna left unresolved by the 1958 Geneva Conventions and the 1982 Montego Bay Convention. This study surveys three sources - legal doctrine, national legislation and international conventions - to identify the constitutive criteria of the vessel. The author shows that, despite considerable terminological confusion arising from the proliferation of new craft (hovercraft, hydrofoils, floating platforms, automated and submersible engines), doctrine and most legal texts converge on aptitude for maritime navigation as the essential criterion. This article analyzes how the Moroccan Constitution distributes administrative powers among the constitutional authorities and defines the bodies that make up the active and consultative administration. Despite increasing analytical sophistication, empirical research in organization studies continues to suffer from fragile inference, uneven theoretical accumulation, and contested credibility. This paper seeks to explain why these problems persist by shifting attention from authors’ methodological choices to the evaluative dynamics of peer review. Adopting a conceptual and theory-analytic approach, the paper theorizes peer review as an inferential gatekeeping system. Drawing on research design, theory evaluation, and philosophy-of-science literatures, this study develops an analytical framework to examine how evaluative routines shape what constitutes empirical rigor during the review process. In this holdover proceeding involving a Section 8 subsidized tenant, the court dismissed the petition because landlord served expired Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Notice of Occupancy Rights forms — forms that had expired in 2017 rather than the current HUD-approved forms effective through 2028. Under 24 C.F.R. §5.2005(a), landlords receiving federal funding must provide current VAWA notice with any notification terminating tenancy in covered housing. The VAWA requirements apply regardless of the theory of eviction, including an expired-lease holdover.

The Appellate Division, First Department reversed and granted summary judgment to a rent-stabilized successor tenant. Under the HSTPA, a landlord may not withdraw a previously offered preferential rent in a renewal lease. Tenant was entitled to a renewal lease at the preferential rent paid by the predecessor tenant of record. A 2006 DHCR settlement and rent order did not constitute increases 'authorized by law' under RSL §26-511(c)(14), and the DHCR order had no preclusive effect against tenant, who had not been a party to the prior proceeding and had not had a full and fair opportunity to litigate.

Falls in the elderly are a significant cause of injury, disability, and preventable medical expenditure; thus, fall prevention is an issue to assisted living homes like Townson Assisted Living Facility (TALF). The internal incident reports showed that persistent fall incidents were associated with inconsistent knowledge among the staff and unequal observed compliance with fall-prevention guidelines, indicating a practice gap in the systematized education of nurses. Educational interventions are effective in achieving high-quality staff, adherence to protocols, and outcomes concerning falls. International Relations scholarship has generally treated food as an outward-facing instrument of soft power, leaving its domestic political functions comparatively underexamined. This paper argues that, during periods of systemic crisis, food policy can also operate inwardly as a mechanism of regime stabilization with broader political implications. Using New Deal food programs during the Great Depression as a case study, it introduces the concept of “domestic gastrodiplomacy” to describe how the management of subsistence can reinforce confidence in governing institutions when that confidence is under strain.

The court rejected the petitioner's argument that a list of the names of people allegedly impacted by the tenant's conduct is evidentiary material beyond the scope of a bill of particulars, applying an important distinction between mere witnesses and content that constitutes the petitioner's prima facie case. The court also held that a bill of particulars is an appropriate vehicle to obtain dates and times of alleged incidents of misconduct.

This essay takes the commemorated names of four Seminole Negro Indian Scout Medal of Honor recipients to examine public memory at the Texas Capitol Complex since 1983. Using archival documents, newspapers, exhibits, and monuments, it traces how the Texas State Preservation Board responded to criticism through limited incorporations of Black, Tejano, and women’s histories while preserving narratives that disavow slavery and settler colonialism. It argues that these incorporations reinforce a framework centered on Texas “pioneers,” obscuring Native histories and misrepresenting the complex intersections of Blackness and Indigeneity embodied by Black Seminole history.

This article explores a little-known chapter in the life of anarchist Albert Parsons and illustrates the complexities of race and class in Reconstruction Texas. Loyal to the administration of Republican Texas Governor Edmund J. Davis, Parsons helped break a strike of white supremacist printers in Austin. His allegiance to the cause of African American rights superseded class solidarity with the printers. Less than two decades later, Parsons died while supporting striking workers in Chicago.

While Galveston is rightly renowned as the birthplace of Juneteenth, this article argues that Houston played an equally foundational role in the origins of the holiday as the site of the first recorded public celebration of June 19 as an anniversary of freedom. Drawing on new research in a rare newspaper, it examines the circumstances that led Black Houstonians to celebrate June 19, 1866, identifying the leaders and locations of the Houston event for the first time. Courts often face difficult questions of statutory interpretation and constitutional interpretation. Various judges take different approaches. This essay reviews the book, Reading the Constitution, Why I Chose Pragmatism Not Textualism, authored by former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, who used methods that were often in the Court minority. Justice Breyer argued in favor of relying on purpose in federal statutory interpretation cases, and in favor of pragmatic balancing in federal constitutional cases.
