[Method/process] This paper combs through the studies on AIGC information behavior, and identifies TOE(Technology-Organization-Envifonment，TOE) theory and research life cycle theory as the base theory. Semi-structured interviews were conducted for procedural grounded theory coding. To increase share prices during the issuance of seasoned equity shares, firms may be motivated to boost earnings through earnings management, particularly just before the offering. This study examines the earnings management practices of non-financial firms listed in Borsa Istanbul and surrounding seasoned equity offerings. Using the cross-sectional Modified Jones and Roychowdhury (2006) models, both accrual-based and real earnings management practices were analyzed from 2005 to 2018. The sample consists of 120 rights offerings within the research period. The results indicate that firms listed on Borsa Istanbul did not engage in earnings management the year before the offering. Deep learning (DL) has become a powerful tool for solving complex problems, but developing DL models typically requires vast datasets, high computational resources, and expert knowledge—barriers that limit accessibility. Machine Learning as a Service (MLaaS) addresses this challenge by allowing resource-rich providers to deliver pre-trained DL models as services. However, privacy concerns arise: clients hesitate to share sensitive data, while providers protect their proprietary models. BACKGROUNDThe study investigates how varying germination times affect the nutritional, thermal, and pasting properties of red rice. Germination was conducted over 32 h, with aliquots collected every 2 h starting from 18 h for property evaluation.RESULTSAt all evaluated germination times, the red rice samples exhibited low to intermediate amylose levels, while resistant starch content remained relatively constant (approximately 15-20%). Structural changes in the starch were observed: the peak viscosity decreased, maximum gelatinization of the granules occurred at 76 degrees C, and spectroscopic bands characteristic of this polysaccharide were detected at 3400 cm-1 (O-H stretching) and within the 1150-1000 cm-1 range …

This article explores how scholarship about teaching with primary sources (TPS) has evolved over time and what future directions past work might suggests. Using bibliometric analysis and visualization tools, we examined how TPS work has grown; what fields and disciplines focus on this work; key themes and issues; and what scholarship has been influential to the field. These insights led to reflections on disconnects across the field, considerations for publishing about TPS, and the potential of pedagogical standards and guidelines. Finally, this article concludes with recommendations on how this analysis points to possibilities for shared education, space, conversation, and products.

This article examines the May 1970 occupation of Kimball Hall, a university administrative building at New York University, and specifically of its basement printshop. The group that came together in this space referred to itself as the Kimball Commune; they used university equipment and resources to print material in support of the strike and related movements, and they invited students, activists, and the general public to come into the printshop and produce material with them. Christian faith-based organizations constituted a significant proportion of shelter programs for survivors of sex trafficking in the United States, with an estimated 63% identifying as Christian-affiliated (Institute for Survivor Care, 2024). Despite their prevalence, such programs often elicited skepticism due to the rise of secularism (Pew Research, 2022) and concerns that spiritual programming might retraumatize survivors (Ahrens et al., 2010; Hodge, 2020). Language is the primary technology clinical ethicists use as they offer guidance about norms. Like any other piece of technology, to use the technology well requires attention, intention, skill, and knowledge. Word choice becomes a matter of professional practice. The Brief Report offers clinical ethicists several reasons for rejecting the phrase "aggressive care." Instead, ethicists should consider replacing "aggressive care" with the adjacent concept of a "recovery-focused path." IMPORTANCE: The US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) guidelines on preeclampsia risk assessment and aspirin prophylaxis (AP) have not been evaluated for clinical utility.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate which characteristics in the USPSTF guidelines identify risk status and the association of preeclampsia risk with AP recommendations.

DESIGN, SETTING, AND PARTICIPANTS: This observational cohort study enrolled from July 2020 to March 2023 with data analysis performed from October to December 2024. Bispecific antibodies, specifically anti-CD20 T-cell engaging constructs, are poised to alter the treatment paradigm for multiple B-cell malignancies, including follicular lymphoma. Two CD20xCD3 bispecific antibodies, mosunetuzumab and epcoritamab, are now approved in the United States for third-line or later treatment of follicular lymphoma. A third agent, odronextamab, remains under review by regulatory agencies. In pivotal phase II trials, these bispecific antibodies demonstrated overall response rates of approximately 80%, with complete response rates of 60-70%, the majority of which have been durable at 2 years. Important safety signals included risk of infections, neutropenia, and cytokine release syndrome, which occurred in approximately …

SIGNIFICANCE: Optical functional neuroimaging relies upon accurate anatomical models to provide optimal data registration and image reconstruction.

AIM: We establish and validate a robust photogrammetric algorithm for scalp morphology that utilizes 3-dimensional (3D) imaging with a photogrammetric cap to provide individualized scalp morphology estimation through hair in the absence of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

APPROACH: The scalp morphology estimation uses a flexible, neoprene cap and 3D-printed photogrammetric modules with fiducials. We create a sparse scalp sampling and align the MNI152 atlas to generate the scalp morphology estimation. OBJECTIVE: Determine the association between diabetes and metabolic syndrome (MetS) burden (number of MetS criteria fulfilled) and pain, neuropathy severity, and fiber type involvement in individuals with established polyneuropathy.

METHODS: The Peripheral Neuropathy Research Registry was queried for individuals with type 1 and type 2 diabetes (DPN) and non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy (cryptogenic sensory polyneuropathy and prediabetes) using cross-sectional observational data. Associations between diabetes or MetS burden and pain presence (yes/no), neuropathy severity (Total Neuropathy Score reduced), and fiber type involvement (pinprick, vibration, and proprioception examination-small, large, mixed) using logistic, linear, and multinomial regression models were determined.

This case study investigates the way in faculty perceives the function of diversity in molding student success and institutional inclusiveness under a business school’s context. Conducting a mixed-methods survey of faculty, the study examines the question, does diverse faculty representation influence student retention, classroom engagement, and academic performance? Findings reveal robust agreement amongst faculty that diversity makes learning environments more inclusive, promotes student well-being and creates supportive mentor relationships with desirable influence to student persistence and success. UNLABELLED: The genetic subtypes of Burkitt lymphoma have been defined, but the role of epigenetics remains to be comprehensively characterized. We searched genomic DNA from 218 patients across four continents for recurrent DNA methylation patterns and their associations with clinical and molecular features. We identified DNA methylation patterns that were not fully explained by the Epstein-Barr virus status or mutation status, leading to two epitypes described here as HypoBL and HyperBL. Each is characterized by distinct genomic and clinical features including global methylation, mutation burden, aberrant somatic hypermutation, and survival outcomes. The best time of the day for chronic exercise training and the mechanism underlying the timing effects is unclear. Here, we show that low-intensity, low-volume treadmill training in mice before sleep yields greater benefits than after waking for muscle contractile performance and systemic glucose tolerance. Baseline muscle performance also exhibits diurnal variations, with higher strength but lower endurance before sleep than after waking. Muscle-specific knockout of circadian clock genes Rev-erbα/β (Rev-MKO) in male mice eradicates the diurnal variations in both training and baseline conditions without affecting muscle mass, mitochondrial content, food intake, or spontaneous activities. ParB is a central player in bacterial chromosome segregation, and cytidine triphosphate (CTP) is known to modulate its DNA compaction activity. This study explored whether CTP’s regulatory effect is due to specific molecular interactions beyond its known CTP-binding pocket. Using single-molecule flow-stretching and TIRF microscopy, we showed that CTP significantly reduces DNA compaction by wild-type Bacillus subtilis ParB, while ATP has no effect, supporting the hypothesis that CTP acts through specific recognition rather than general charge. CTP’s modulatory effect persisted across C-terminal domain (CTD) lysine mutants. Compaction was reduced in wild-type and K255A but abolished in K252A and K259A. The …

We synthesize decades of research across various disciplines using a conceptual framework that defines physical work environments along three key dimensions: ambience, spatial configuration, and aesthetics. Purpose: This study aimed to determine complete toxicity reporting (CTR), and the use of subjective toxicity-minimizing language (TML) among phase III oncology trials.

Methods: Two-arm superiority-design phase III oncology trials published from 2002 to 2020 were reviewed for toxicity data. CTR was defined as reporting total adverse events (TAEs), total serious adverse events (SAEs), total deaths, and study therapy discontinuations because of toxicity. Circulating blood platelets are responsible for maintaining hemostasis. They are released into blood vessels from mature megakaryocytes. Although several transcription factors have been reported to orchestrate the transcriptional programs required for platelet production, how chromatin regulators control these processes is still poorly understood. MLL3 and MLL4 are the main lysine methyltransferases responsible for the deposition of H3K4me1 histone marks at enhancers. MLL3 and MLL4 typically form complexes with other co-factors, such as PTIP.
