Mexico's 2024 judicial reform, which made it the first country to elect all judges by popular vote, has generated widespread criticism for allegedly threatening judicial independence and democratic governance. This Article challenges the prevailing narrative by arguing that many of these concerns overstate the reform's practical effect. Through a comparative analysis of Mexico's new constitutional framework and judicial electoral systems in the United States, the Article demonstrates that the reform incorporates structural safeguards—including balanced nomination powers, nonpartisan elections, restrictions on campaign financing, and continued judicial training—that set it apart from comparable American models. Current artificial intelligence readiness strategies focus almost exclusively on two priorities: expanding access to AI tools and developing a technical workforce. While necessary, these efforts are insufficient. AI seems likely to transform how people work and, with that, to reshape how individuals derive meaning, how families function, and how communities organize. Tourism destinations face increasingly complex challenges, including overtourism in core areas, underutilisation of peripheral regions, climate pressures, and fragmented governance. Polycentric tourism offers a promising response by distributing visitor flows, decision-making, and value creation across multiple interconnected destinations. However, despite its conceptual appeal, practical mechanisms for implementing polycentric tourism strategies remain underdeveloped. In this paper, an analytical study of MHD-influenced hemodynamic of Jeffrey fluid during peristaltic transport in a two layered narrow channel is presented, a phenomenon that has substantial ramifications for microcirculatory dynamics in the cardiovascular system. The model assumes a Jeffery fluid in the core area to encapsulate microstructural phenomena, including viscosity fluctuations, whereas the periphery area is treated as a Newtonian fluid. This article examines Gollum’s divided selfhood in The Lord of the Rings as a phenomenon constructed and enacted through language rather than as a simple moral or psychological split. Building on recent linguistic work on Gollum’s idiolect, it draws on Relational Frame Theory (RFT) as a descriptive framework for analyzing how speech organizes perspective, value, and action. The argument is literary rather than clinical: RFT is used not to diagnose Gollum, but to specify the verbal structures through which Tolkien renders inner conflict audible. This study analyzes the enhancement of energy efficiency in photovoltaic-thermal (PV/T) systems, which enable the simultaneous generation of electrical and thermal energy from solar radiation. The research focus is an autonomous mobile unit based on multi-channel polycarbonate heat collectors with a hydraulic diameter of 8 mm, characterized by their lightweight nature and superior corrosion resistance compared to conventional metal absorbers. Purpose – This paper aims to develop a transformative phygital service research (TPSR) framework to explain how hybrid physical-digital service systems shape consumer well-being, autonomy, dignity and inclusion. While prior phygital service research (PSR) advances understanding of hybrid experiences and human-centred ecosystems, key ambiguities persist around agency, governance and interpretive labour in algorithmically mediated interactions. Existing frameworks address value co-creation but lack clarity on how digitally enforced rules and redistributed labour drive transformation. While the precise pathophysiology of migraine is not fully elucidated, increasing evidence indicates that disruptions in histamine metabolism may significantly contribute to the onset of migraines. Diamine oxidase (DAO) is a crucial enzyme that facilitates the extracellular breakdown of histamine, especially inside the gastrointestinal system. Decreased DAO activity can result in histamine buildup, potentially provoking migraine attacks via the stimulation of the trigeminovascular system and the facilitation of neurogenic inflammation. We study efficient dynamic mechanism design with independent private values when agents do not share a common prior over the stochastic environment. Each agent privately observes the stochastic kernel governing the evolution of her own type and may hold arbitrary beliefs about the kernels of others. We extend the agents’ type space to include the kernel itself and show that the dynamic team mechanism of Athey and Segal (2013) and the dynamic pivot mechanism of Bergemann and Välimäki (2010) implement the socially efficient allocation in periodic ex-post equilibrium. This article examines how Louisiana’s distinctive civil law tradition survived the Louisiana Purchase and became embedded in the state’s identity through the interaction of culture, migration, and political compromise. Tracing the development of French Louisiana from the Acadian diaspora to statehood, the article argues that the adoption and preservation of the civil code was not accidental, but rather the product of a deeply rooted Francophone and multicultural society resistant to Anglo-American common law traditions. This study examines how ideology is constructed in the translation of Indonesian political news headlines into English by ANTARA News Agency. Moving beyond the notion of translation as mere equivalence, it conceptualizes headline translation as a process of discursive recontextualization shaped by institutional practices and audience design. Using a qualitative comparative approach, the study analyses 20 pairs of Indonesian English political headlines. The present study used a survey research design to collect data from 240 Iraqi women regarding their attitudes toward social media that have been presented physical exercise and fitness content, the duration and intensity of training woman did per week, and to predict body mass index based on the level of psychological attitudes they have. Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling is a principal driver of heterotopic ossification (HO), yet how aberrant BMP activity structurally reprograms cellular signaling machinery to develop HO remains unclear. Here, we identify BMP signaling as a direct upstream regulator of ciliogenesis that coordinates a multi-stage, pro-osteochondrogenic signaling relay during HO. Using a conditional gain-of-function BMP mouse model (Acvr1Q207D/+), we demonstrate that enhanced BMP signaling promotes primary cilium biogenesis and axonemal elongation through canonical Smad1/5/9-dependent transcriptional activation of intraflagellar transport (IFT) Ift20, a core component of the IFT machinery. Typically composed of neural networks with billions of parameters, they are trained on massive unlabeled datasets using self-supervised or semi-supervised learning. Beyond language, LLMs hold immense potential for addressing complex bioinformatics challenges. This review provides a comprehensive overview of transformer-based model applications in genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, drug discovery, and single-cell analysis. Conventional instruments are susceptible to AI-assisted completion, threatening construct validity across disciplines and institutional contexts. This Article focuses on three areas of the 1825 Civil Code that have generally not attracted significant scholarly attention in Louisiana but that have important socio-legal significance.

In the early 19th century, Louisiana codified its civil law in French and in English. In the 20th century, it translated French civilian doctrine and then produced its own civilian literature in English. Over time, lawmakers and translators have crafted and refined new English legal terminology suited to expressing civilian concepts, thereby setting aside common law terminology. Quebec joined the process once Canada imposed bilingualism, while other English-speaking mixed jurisdictions also contributed.
