Their theoretical work on gravity is still considered a monumental discovery of their respective times. Although born centuries apart, the theory of gravity each advanced is still essential. The Supreme Court definitively overruled Chevron U.S.A. Inc. v. Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc. in the landmark decision of Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, marking the most consequential transformation of administrative law in four decades. Prior to Loper Bright, Chevron’s deferential two-step framework provided the standard by which courts interpreted statutes administered by federal agencies. Loper Bright abrogates Chevron’s familiar standard, holding that courts should no longer defer to an agency’s interpretation of its enabling statute whenever the statute is deemed ambiguous. This shift in precedent potentially opens the floodgates for challenges to agency action based …

The development of modular construction has re-raised a question central to construction litigation: whether contracts are governed by Article 2 of the UCC, which controls transactions in goods, or the common law, which controls other transactions, including those for services. Because the modular construction process involves fabrication of units off-site, it complicates the distinction between goods and services—while the final product is the service of constructing a building, the individual modules could arguably be classified as goods.

In December 2019, the Georgia Office of the Attorney General released an Opinion stating that the City of Canton Code of Ordinances, Chapter 18, Article XIV restricting the sale of pets by retail pet shops was in direct conflict with the Georgia Animal Protection Act and therefore preempted under the Georgia Constitution’s Uniformity Clause.

This Note seeks reconsideration of the Attorney General’s Opinion and argues that despite the Attorney General’s Opinion, local ordinances restricting the kinds of animals available at pet shops should remain a legally viable way for local governments to reduce the retail sale of cats and dogs.

This paper examines the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) liquidity management framework over a period marked by aggressive monetary tightening in response to persistent inflationary pressures. The analysis suggested that despite sustained sterilisation efforts through CRR debits and open market operations (OMO), liquidity surpluses persisted, driven largely by autonomous factors such as fiscal injections, maturing OMO bills, and foreign exchange interventions. The resulting structural liquidity surpluses periodically weakened the alignment between short‐term interest rates and the policy corridor, highlighting operational frictions and transmission inefficiencies. The study examined the effect of urban transportation on tomato marketing efficiency using major markets in Ibadan metropolis in south-west Nigeria as case study. The data used were collected from a total of 170 tomato marketers using a structured questionnaire. This study examines the effects of Official Development Assistance (ODA) on Nigeria’s economic growth, social welfare, and political development from 1960 to 2024. Using thematic content analysis, the findings reveal that ODA’s impact has been marginal, falling short of expectations. Instead of fostering economic growth and strengthening social and political systems, ODA often generated unintended outcomes. The study recommends that Nigeria reduce dependence on foreign aid, strengthen national institutions, tackle corruption, and reform public debt management to achieve sustainable development that aligns with relevant targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Increasing crop production amid recurrent droughts remains a critical challenge for smallholder farmers in the semi-arid Iramba District; however, empirical evidence on crop production remains scarce. This paper analysed trends in crop production in Iramba District from 1995 to 2024. Mixed methods were used, and data were collected through structured interviews, focus group discussions, field observations, in-depth interviews and document reviews. Quantitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics while qualitative data were thematically analysed. While the bill enhances technical resilience and institutional coordination, it remains silent on cyberterrorism, leaving statutory, institutional, and international gaps. Adopted in 1962, the Brussels Convention on the Liability of the Operators of Nuclear Ships has been considered an obsolete instrument for the last 60 years. In light of renewed interest in floating nuclear power plants (FNPPs), this article revisits the regime of this half-forgotten Convention and calls for its modernisation. The fact is that a robust legal framework for liability and compensation must accompany any prospective deployment of FNPPs. Here future elementary and middle school teachers reflect on their experiences with science teachers encountered throughout their education and highlight their characteristics. The aim of the study was to create a program where teachers were given the explicit opportunity to reflect on their experiences through journaling that promoted reflective thought. Participants were 173 non-science and 120 science major prospective teachers enrolled in a small university in northeastern Turkey. Data were collected using document analysis. Barycentric interpolation, which comes from Lagrange interpolation, is a useful method in numerical analysis. In this research paper, we explain how the barycentric interpolation formula is derived and discuss its features. We compare its stability and performance with the traditional Lagrange formula. First, we show how to get the barycentric formula from the Lagrange polynomial and present it as a rational function. We also provide an estimate of the error. Then, we use numerical examples to show that the barycentric formula is more stable and works better, especially when the degree of interpolation is high. Our results show that the …

Background and objective: Extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphomas of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) are indolent non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) that can arise in various extranodal organs, often due to chronic inflammation. Gastric MALT lymphomas are well characterized; however, MALT lymphomas may occur in diverse sites such as the ocular adnexa, salivary glands, thyroid, lung, skin, and the small intestine. These site-specific MALT lymphomas have distinct etiologic associations, clinical presentation, and management considerations. This review provides an updated, site-specific overview to guide the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to non-gastric MALT lymphoma in adults.
