Pebbly Gingival Nodule In An Older Male, Victoria L. Scarpa D.D.S., M.S., Yussra O. Mahmud M.P.H., B.S., Daria Vasilyeva D.D.S., Ph.D.

The New York State Dental Journal

We herein present a case of a giant cell fibroma in an older adult male that clinically has a pebbly or bosselated surface architecture, mimicking a squamous papilloma. The giant cell fibroma is a fibrous tumor distinct from the common irritation fibroma and may easily be mistaken for a papilloma based on clinical features. This case is reported to provide diagnostic value to the general practitioner.

The study “Access to livelihood opportunities among migrants, refugees and asylum- seekers in Egypt,” was conducted under the framework of the Egyptian Migration Hub (EHUB) project. It focused on underscoring the prospects of challenges with regards to the employment of such groups in the informal labor economy in Egypt considering the current limitations in the legal framework. The study adopted a qualitative method including 46 KIIs and 46 FGDs conducted in three governorates: Greater Cairo, Alexandria and Damietta. AI-enabled learning technologies are rapidly becoming institutional infrastructure. In this context, “trust” cannot be treated as a simple user attitude or a byproduct of technical performance. We argue that durable trust in AI-enabled learning systems is fundamentally a legitimacy outcome: stakeholders must judge AI-mediated practices as appropriate, credible, and defensible within the normative and governance structures of learning environments. Whereas organizational network studies infer employees’ agentic desires through observed network changes, we capture desires to collaborate more closely with co-workers directly through a survey. We argue that formal structures create workflow dependencies between employees as they gather others’ inputs to complete their tasks, and individuals desire to alter their networks to manage those dependencies using the following two main collaborative approaches: (1) collaborating more intensely with existing formal workflow network partners; and (2) engaging in bypassing approaches with specific partners outside of their prescribed formal workflow. PURPOSE: BRCA1 promoter methylation (BRCA1meth) affects 20%-27% of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and ovarian cancer (OvCa) and has therapeutic predictive value in both cancer types. BRCA1meth is established during early embryonic development as a constitutional event, and its detection in the peripheral blood cells of unaffected women associates with increased risk for breast cancer and OvCa. Thus, facile and sensitive assessment of BRCA1meth is an important component for both risk assessment and the therapeutic management of these cancer types.

Montana Residents’ Attitudes Towards Tourism – 2025, Carter Bermingham, Megan Schultz, Jayce Beck

Montana residents maintain a broadly positive outlook on tourism, with 66% agreeing that tourism's benefits outweigh its drawbacks and 72% recognizing the economic value of state-supported tourism promotion. However, resident sentiment remains nuanced: 45% report concerns about overcrowding, and fewer than half (36%) believe increased tourism would improve their personal quality of life — a trend consistent across four consecutive years.

Regional divides are pronounced. Communities near high-visitation destinations such as Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park express greater skepticism toward tourism growth, while lower-visitation regions, including Central Montana, Southeast Montana, and Missouri River Country, hold more favorable views …

This report has been prepared by the Compensation Working Group (WG) to provide advice to the Minister for Fisheries on improving Western Australia’s (WA) fisheries compensation processes under two key legislative frameworks:

• Fisheries adjustment schemes, under the Fisheries Adjustment Scheme Act 1987
• (FAS Act), and 
• Statutory compensation under Fishing and Related Industries Compensation (Marine Reserves) Act 1997 (FRICMA).

This work has been undertaken as a precursor to the larger scale adjustment and compensation processes that will be required as part of the implementation of several marine parks throughout the Kimberley and South Coast of WA.

The study presents a joint research project by five authors: László Tamás, András Máté-Tóth, Miklós Gyorgyovich, Bernadett Balassa, and Dávid Kollár. It offers the first international comparative empirical application of the theory of Wounded Collective Identity (WCI), developed by the second author, Professor András Máté-Tóth, based on data from thirty-eight European countries. The theoretical framework of the study is grounded in Máté-Tóth’s theory of wounded identity, which conceptualizes the geo-cultural and geopolitical in-between position of the Central and Eastern European region as a decisive factor shaping collective self-interpretation.

In Western Australia (WA), stock assessments for key demersal species, including snapper and red emperor, have traditionally used bespoke integrated models developed in-house by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD). In line with other Australian jurisdictions, DPIRD is transitioning to Stock Synthesis (SS) as its primary platform for integrated stock assessments of WA finfish. To support this transition, DPIRD commissioned an independent expert review of recent integrated models applied to three demersal stocks. Amid declining legal certainty in Delaware driven by recent court decisions and an increasingly active plaintiffs’ bar, Texas’ 2025 corporate governance reform marks a deliberate bid to position Texas as a premier jurisdiction for corporate formation, governance, and dispute resolution. This article examines three central amendments to the Texas Business Organizations Code (§§ 21.419, 21.552, and 21.373) enacted by Texas’ 2025 corporate governance reform and seeks to demonstrate that, contrary to early criticism labeling such amendments as management friendly or anti-shareholder, these amendments are, in fact, beneficial to shareholders. Generative artificial intelligence (“GAI”) has entered law wearing the costume of competence: fluent, confident, and fast. But legal practice is not a memory sport despite the bar exam. Lawyers are paid to create, test, and refine ideas (arguments, narratives, and theories of liability) inside an adversarial system that punishes error, rewards precision, and demands accountability. This article argues that the central risk of GAI in legal work is not merely “hallucinations” or confidentiality breaches; it is epistemic atrophy, an outsourcing of the intellectual labor by which lawyers understand where law comes from, how it changes, and why it applies. AI hiring tools are now ubiquitous in employment, promising efficiency, cost savings, and reduced human bias. Yet these systems often operate as “black boxes,” replicating or amplifying existing biases and raising significant legal concerns under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Even without discriminatory intent, AI trained on historical hiring data can produce disparate impacts, exposing employers to liability for outcomes they cannot fully understand or explain. This study examines the attitudes of cotton producers in Şanlıurfa toward establishing a producers’ union to address structural challenges in Türkiye’s leading cotton production region. Şanlıurfa contributes approximately 40% of Türkiye’s cotton output, yet lacks organizational frameworks for its nearly 20,000 producers who face significant risks including price volatility, high input costs, and limited market access. The research utilized primary data collected through face-to-face surveys with 165 cotton producers selected via convenience sampling. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), independent samples t-tests, and one-way ANOVA. Many administered by the two divisions in DVR — Motor Vehicle Licensing (DMVL) and Motor Carriers (DMC) — have remained unchanged for many years despite salary increases, the adoption of more complex and expensive technologies, and inflation raising administrative costs.
