Prior studies have shown that developmental trauma exposure in childhood negatively impacts attachment neurocircuitry, increasing risk for insecure attachments in adulthood, and deemed more prevalent among females and minorities, such as African American women. However, studies that specifically focus on ethnocultural contexts, initial developmental trauma exposure during specific developmental ages, and impacts on attachment, including attachment to God in African-Caribbean American women are limited. This study fulfilled those gaps in the literature by examining age of initial developmental trauma exposure and impacts on attachment with self and God in African-Caribbean American adult women with developmental trauma histories. The purpose of this phenomenological study was to explore how early-career school social workers in public schools in Georgia described their lived experiences of secondary trauma. This study examined the contextual elements that contributed to secondary trauma. The findings may inform training for school districts to improve climate and culture, develop learning workshops, and create supportive systems for early-career social workers exposed to student traumas. Theories guiding this study included Urie Bronfenbrenner’s ecological theory and Bruce Biddle’s role theory. There is growing evidence supporting multicultural competencies as a key component of the CACREP standards and ethical responsibilities for faculty counselor educators and supervisors (FCESs). However, literature supporting multicultural competencies has significant gaps as it relates to the conceptualization and practice of disability competencies in CACREP counselor education. Furthermore, the lack of disability competencies and the stigma surrounding disabilities has led to frustration, academic remediation, and the withdrawal of students with disabilities. The purpose of this transcendental phenomenology was to describe the experiences of Black students with disabilities suspended for violating a zero-tolerance policy. For this study, zero-tolerance policies were defined as rules and regulations put in place by a school system for which (alleged) violators must be suspended immediately with no administrative discretion. The theory that guided this study is geneticist Luigi Cavalli-Sforza and biologist Marcus Feldman’s cultural transmission theory (CTT), often called enculturation, which states that cultural elements such as attitudes, behaviors, beliefs and values are transmitted to individuals and groups. The purpose of this qualitative descriptive study was to examine the perceptions of adolescent addiction treatment counselors regarding effective leadership styles in addressing organizational, employee, and clientele needs. The study focused on leadership in substance abuse treatment programs, particularly the roles that various leadership styles, such as situational, servant, and transformational leadership, play in improving communication, organizational cohesion, and client care. Participants were 15 adolescent addiction treatment program counselors who had worked for at least 1 year and were currently residing in the southwest United States. The purpose of this phenomenological study was to discover the shared experiences of parents with gifted and advanced preschoolers at a preschool center. In this study, gifted and advanced preschoolers were defined as children aged 3–5 years old who demonstrate a high level of academic achievement based on performance on the Individual Student Assessment (ISA). Emotional eating (EE) refers to consuming food in response to emotionally provoking triggers rather than physical hunger (Tinmazoglu & Guvender-Doksat, 2020). Often acting as a learned coping mechanism, EE is associated with emotions like anxiety, depression, anger, or stress. Environmental noise pollution has been associated with adverse health effects in various organisms, yet its impact on small invertebrates remains underexplored. This study investigates the effects of chronic noise exposure on Drosophila melanogaster by subjecting an experimental group to noise levels ranging from 70 dB to 100 dB, while a control group remains unexposed. Key parameters to be assessed include viability, reproductive success, and activity levels, with the hypothesis that chronic noise exposure will lead to increased mortality rates, decreased reproductive output, and reduced activity compared to the control group. Circadian rhythms are inherent cycles that last approximately 24 hours and govern numerous physiological and behavioral processes, such as sleeping and waking, hormone secretion, and feeding (Fagiani, F., Di Marino, D., Romagnoli, A. et al., 2022). These rhythms are entrained in the external environmental signals of light and temperature so that organisms can anticipate and adapt to daily changes in their ambient environments. Microbial succession during postnatal gut development in mice is likely impacted by site of sampling, time, intestinal injury, and host genetics. We investigated this in wild-type and Sigirr transgenic mice that encode the p.Y168X mutation identified in a neonate with necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). Temporal profiling of the ileal and colonic microbiome after birth to weaning revealed a clear pattern of progression from a less diverse, Proteobacteria/Escherichia_Shigella dominant community to a more diverse, Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes dominant community. Formula milk feeding, a risk factor for necrotizing enterocolitis, decreased Firmicutes and increased Proteobacteria leading to enrichment of bacterial genes denoting exaggerated glycolysis and increased …

The problem is that since EMDR is not practiced at CCC, it decreases the quality of care and extends the number of counseling sessions. If Christian Counseling Center’s counselors use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing psychotherapy for trauma clients, then an increase in counseling quality will be demonstrated by decreased sessions. The study also sought to reveal EMDR's value to clients’ counseling sessions, given that CBT is the standard therapeutic approach in pastoral counseling settings. This quality improvement project aimed to improve continuity of care for individuals with schizophrenia and bipolar I disorder by implementing an evidence-based protocol to increase the use of long-acting injectable (LAI) antipsychotics in an outpatient psychiatric setting. Guided by the Iowa Model and Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring, the intervention focused on the early identification of individuals at risk of relapse, the adoption of standardized protocols, education for both patients and caregivers and structured staff training. Targeted therapy has achieved significant success in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly in patients harboring common oncogenic driver mutations such as EGFR, KRAS, and ALK rearrangement. However, ~35-50% of NSCLC patients without tyrosine kinase mutation or rearrangement (non-mutated) cannot benefit from these targeted treatments, highlighting the urgent need for novel therapeutic strategies for this patient population. In this study, we report a non-canonical role of human secretory ribonuclease 1 (RNase1), which binds to and activates wild-type ALK in lung cancer cells, thereby triggering its downstream signaling pathway. Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with RUNX1::RUNX1T1 fusion is well known to often demonstrate aberrant upregulation of CD19 expression. We studied the clinicopathologic and genetic features of 16 cases of AML with various RUNX1 lesions, including mutations, copy number gains, and translocations other than fusions with RUNX1T1. Most of these cases were classified as AML-myelodysplasia-related or AML-post-cytotoxic therapy based on the cytogenetic and molecular work-up. The purpose of this qualitative, multiple case study involved a sample size of 12 participants was to explore how believers perceived their own spiritual formation journey and whether length of time as a practicing Christian and regular attendance at worship services had any impact on their perceptions. The research occurred in four predominantly African American Pentecostal Churches in Oakland, California with participant interviews and sermon observations. A group of divalent complexes was prepared in the formula [M(L)Cl2] when M=Co+2, Ni+2, Cu+2, Zn+2, and Cd+2 L= (Z)-4-((1-(H-indol-3-yl)ethylidene)amino)1,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-one. The Schiff base ligand is prepared by reacting 4-aminoantipyrine with 3-acetylindol. The prepared ligand and complexes were identified by elemental analysis, an infrared spectrometer, the nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum, molar electrical conductivity, electronic spectra, magnetic susceptibility, atomic absorption of the elements, and biological efficiencies. This study aims to synthesize a new class of silicon polymers P1-P4 were synthesized based on dichlorodimethylsilane (DCDMS) with some organic compounds containing terminal hydroxyl groups were synthesized for the first time[M1-M4] via condensation polymerization .Also, their nanocomposites P′1-P′4 were prepared in the presence of 0.7% the silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) using the solution casting method. This study aims to create an easy method for simultaneously measuring nimesulide and flurbiprofen in pharmaceutical formulations. This research provides insight into how variations in buffer concentration, pH levels, and acetonitrile content influence the separation mechanism of two non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The retention time of two NSAIDs was increased with an increase of eluent pH value from 3 to 5.5. When acetonitrile content increased from 5 % to 50 %, the retention of two target drugs decreased, indicating hydrophobic and ionic interactions.
