In the context of big science, collaborative research is one of the most significant characteristics and large-scale research infrastructures (LSRIs) play an important role as research platforms. However, whether collaborations, specifically, the co-authorships between facilities’ scientists and users, could affect the performance of LSRIs’ outputs or not is unclear. This work takes SLAC National Accelerate Lab as an example and quantifies how the participation of facilities’ scientists influences the performances of LSRIs’ outputs. Systematically reviewing the evolutionary features of informatization policies is an important reference for further optimizing policy layout. This study constructed an analytical framework for policy evolutionary features, covering four dimensions of policy quantity structure, policy issuing department, policy theme, and policy tool, from policy external attributes to policy content elements. Insects and their natural enemies are engaged in a never-ending battle called the ‘co-evolutionary arms race.’ As a part of these contentious interactions, vulnerable insects evolve natural barriers that prevent successful attacks by their natural enemies. In response, natural enemies evolve strategies that overcome these barriers. Occasionally, microbial symbionts will also participate in these relationships by assisting their insect host in defense against natural enemies or by assisting the natural enemy in subduing its prey. Obesity is a highly prevalent chronic disease that impacts >40% of reproductive-aged females. The pathophysiology of obesity is complex and can be understood simply as a chronic energy imbalance whereby caloric intake exceeds caloric expenditure with an energy surplus stored in adipose tissue. Obesity may be categorized into degrees of severity as well as different phenotypes on the basis of metabolic health and underlying pathophysiology. Despite increasing interest in the dynamics of functional brain networks, most studies focus on the changing relationships over time between spatially static networks or regions. Here we propose an approach to study dynamic spatial brain networks in human resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rsfMRI) data and evaluate the temporal changes in the volumes of these 4D networks. Our results show significant volumetric coupling (i.e., synchronized shrinkage and growth) between networks during the scan, that we refer to as dynamic spatial network connectivity (dSNC). A pivotal time of change during the history of life on Earth can be seen in the Devonian Period. During this time, major transitions in marine and terrestrial system resulted in a different world at the end of the period in comparison to the beginning. Objective: To assess the utility of guided imagery meditation (GIM) as a low-invasive, cost-effective modality to weight management. Researchers hypothesized that using a standardized, lifestyle-focused GIM would result in weight loss and waist circumference (WC) changes.

Design: Researchers designed a 12-week randomized, controlled pilot study in which participants were asked to use a provided GIM.
