This paper examines emerging technologies for indigenous knowledge management by public libraries of Akwa Ibom State. It conceptualise indigenous knowledge, indigenous knowledge management and emerging technologies. The different Indigenous knowledge of Akwa Ibom State were explored. The emerging technologies for management of indigenous knowledge were evaluated. The paper concluded that indigenous knowledge is the identity and prestige of the local people as their cultural heritage over centuries are embedded in it. The study investigated how perceptions and IT competencies of academic librarians influenced their use of Cloud-Based Storage (CBS) systems in libraries in South-West Nigeria. Primary data were collected from 127 academic librarians working in 11 university libraries across six Southwestern states of Nigeria. The answers from these valid copies of the questionnaire were descriptively (frequency count and percentage) and inferentially (regression statistics) analyzed using SPSS version 23. The findings revealed that the librarians had high perceptions for the use of CBS systems and also their IT competencies were on the high side. Most contemporary 3D data used in archaeological research and heritage management have been created through ‘reality capture,’ the recording of the physical features of extant archaeological objects, structures, and landscapes using technologies such as laser scanning and photogrammetry (Garstki 2020, ch.2; Magnani et al. 2020). This report documents the experience and findings of the Audiovisual Metadata Platform Pilot Development (AMPPD) project, which has worked to enable more efficient generation of metadata to support discovery and use of digitized and born-digital audio and moving image collections. The AMPPD project was carried out by partners Indiana University Libraries, AVP, University of Texas at Austin, and New York Public Library between 2018-2021.

This paper presents the bibliometric analysis of the journal “Annals of Library and Information Studies” during the period 2010 to 2019 with the aim to offer a summary of research trends of publications in the selected journal. The study analyzes total 328 papers of 40 issues from 2010-2019. Present analysis covers article distribution pattern, authorship pattern, references, and geographical distribution of authors, etc. ALIS reveals trend of growth in contribution and average number of contributions is 32.8% per volume.
