Faculty Articles
Accumulation of dysfunctional and damaged cellular proteins and organelles occursduring aging, resulting in a disruption of cellular homeostasis and progressive degen-eration and increases the risk of cell death. Moderating the accrual of these defunctcomponents is likely a key in the promotion of longevity. While exercise is knownto promote healthy aging and mitigate age‐related pathologies, the molecular under-pinnings of this phenomenon remain largely unclear. However, recent evidencessuggest that exercise modulates the proteome. Similarly, caloric restriction (CR), aknown promoter of lifespan, is understood to augment intracellular protein quality.Autophagy is an evolutionary conserved recycling pathway responsible for thedegradation, then turnover of cellular proteins …

This study investigate how women were perceived as an ideal head coach candidate in a male dominant sports …

Peace and Conflict Studies
This paper is part of a series of research dedicated to specific issues uncovered in sports-for-peace programs. Other research has focused on cross-cultural issues, for example. In this research project, the authors were interested in how to encourage the inclusion and promotion of women in all sports around the world. This study offers key insights into how entrepreneurial education can positively impact upon sustainability educators behaviours and practices. This study explores, through a UK and European semi-structured survey of sustainability educators, three key research questions. Firstly, how an entrepreneurial or an enterprising approach contributes to solving sustainability problems? Secondly, the extent to which sustainability education programmes in universities are making reference to enterprise/entrepreneurship? The study found that sustainability educators had mixed, but predominantly negative …
