An Impact Model For Experiential Activities Of Farming And Food Education In Agricultural Sustainable Tourism, Feng-En Lo, Li-Shiue Gau, Yu-Yin Hsu, Rick Gage, Chien-Yun Hung

Natural Resources and Earth Sciences Faculty Research

This paper examines the development, implementation, and implications of farming and food experiential activities and the effects of these activities on agricultural sustainable tourism. A model is proposed that examines the major correlates and possible impacts related to these variables. A heuristic inquiry research design was adopted, employing a major multiple case study approach. In addition to secondary data, primary data were collected through 18 interviews with farmers, customers, government employees, community leaders and scholars, as well as 132 quantitative surveys from tourists and visitors involved in the activities on site.

Sports have been a tool for development within educational institutions for decades. In the United States, around 8 million high school students participate in high school sports. Very few go on to play for University Athletic Departments. Out of the 8 million students, only 495,000 (6.1%) of them will compete at NCAA schools (NCAA, 2020). Though the probability of competing in the NCAA's elite divisions is low, university students have plenty of opportunities to play and compete in sports via club/recreational sports programs, intramurals, and physical education courses. Evaluation Of Sport Facilities In Sport Cities In Jordan, Sari Hamdan

Al-Balqa Journal for Research and Studies البلقاء للبحوث والدراسات

The aim of this study was to evaluate facilities in sport cities in Jordan. The sample of this study consisted of (24) employees in sport cities the researcher bilt a tool and validity and reliability was done for the research tool. The results showed that sport cities were in a good condition, however, El-Hussien city was significantly better than the other sport cities. The researcher recommended to using the research tool of this study as instrumentation to evaluate sports facilities in sport cities.

Scientometrics summarise and analyse the work of eminent researchers. In this paper, we analyse and to some extent celebrate, the infuence of Dan Funk on sport marketing and sport consumer behaviour scholarship. We summarise 1) the scientific indicators of his contribution; 2) research themes; 3) co-authorship patterns (i.e. key collaborators, country, university affiliation, author group size) 4) journals that have published his research; 5) his ideational influencers and influencees.
