According to recent studies, there has been increasing concern of terrorist threats to U.S. stadiums. The research problem is that existing U.S. stadium policies, procedures, and plans do not adequately address evacuation of special populations in the event of a terrorist threat. There is a particular concern regarding the adequacy of existing stadium evacuation plans for patrons with special needs. Maximal strength is important for the performance of dynamic athletic activities, such as countermovement jumps (CMJ). Although measures of maximal strength appear related to discrete CMJ variables, such as peak ground reaction forces (GRF) and center-of-mass (COM) velocity, knowledge about the association between strength and the time series patterns during CMJ will help characterize changes that can be expected in dynamic movement with changes in maximal strength. This dissertation employed a non-experimental quantitative research method to examine the relationship between organizational culture and perceptions of Information and Communication Technology implementation project success in higher education institutions. The study used Sociotechnical Systems Theory to frame the higher education institution’s work system and the Competing Values Framework (CVF) in distinguishing the cultures of the institution, its colleges/divisions, and its departments to determine if differences in culture tendencies impacted faculty, staff, and administrators’ perception of project success. Resistance training (RT) has been shown to better prepare athletes for the physical demands of their sport. However, former female high school athletes’ participation rates and perceptions of RT are unknown. The aim of this study was to identify key factors and themes influencing participation and perceptions of RT in this population. Former female high school athletes (n=73) between the ages of 18-24 years old completed an electronic questionnaire-based survey. The survey included a RT questionnaire and background questions regarding each participant’s high school athletic environment. Objectives: To implement and evaluate the effectiveness of using a mobile app to encourage hospital workers to increase their physical activity.

Methods: Project was open and advertised to all hospital employees in a small rural community hospital in the south-eastern United States through flyers, bulletin boards, emails, banners and in-person registration assistance. Registered participants completed a 30-day walking challenge and recorded their daily step counts. Participants received a gift bag with fitness items such as water bottles. The three highest step count participants were awarded prizes. Weekly prize drawings were conducted for participants with 10,000 steps per day. Post challenge …

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการวางตำแหน่งของตราสินค้า คุณค่าของตราสินค้า และภาพลักษณ์ของตราสินค้า และการประชาสัมพันธ์ที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อ แนวโน้มในการเลือกเชียร์สโมสรไฮเทค บาสเกตบอล โดยใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์เป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เป็นแฟนบาสเกตบอลสโมสรไฮเทค จำนวน 400 คน โดยทำการกระจายแบบสอบถามออนไลน์ (Google Form) ผ่านทาง Inbox Page Facebook ของสโมสรไฮเทค ให้กับผู้กดติดตาม และนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์หาค่าร้อยละ ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน จากการศึกษาระดับความคิดเห็นของกลุ่มตัวอย่างพบว่า การวางตำแหน่งของตราสโมสรไฮเทค ภาพลักษณ์ของตราสโมสรไฮเทค คุณค่าของตราสินค้าสโมสรไฮเทค และแนวโน้มในการเลือกเชียร์สโมสรไฮเทค ในภาพรวมมีความคิดเห็นอยู่ในระดับมาก ส่วนความคิดเห็นต่อการประชาสัมพันธ์ทางกีฬาในภาพรวมมีความคิดเห็นอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ส่วนผลการทดสอบสมมติฐานพบว่า การวางตำแหน่งของตัวสโมสร (r = 0.533) ภาพลักษณ์ของตราสโมสรไฮเทค (r = 0.676) คุณค่าของตราสโมสรไฮเทค (r = 0.705) และการประชาสัมพันธ์ทางกีฬา (r = 0.710) มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อแนวโน้มในการเลือกเชียร์สโมสรไฮเทคของแฟนทีม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05

This study aimed to compare the perception of gender equality between male and female staff across three different sport federations. Sports have been stereotyped with genders for decades. In this thesis, three different sport federations were selected as a representative of different genders where football was a representative of masculine, gymnastic was a representative of feminine, and badminton was a representative of neutral. Not only were these three sport federations stereotyped with genders, these three sports were also very famous among Indonesian population. The purpose of this explanatory sequential mixed methods study was to investigate how elementary teachers in Clay County, Florida rate their level of self-efficacy, while examining the specific leadership characteristics influencing self-efficacy from the perspective of teachers. Additionally, this study sought to identify characteristics and actions of principals that teachers consider to be important to their self-efficacy in teaching from home on a virtual platform during the global pandemic. Using the Teacher Self-Efficacy Survey (TSES) and the Principal Rating and Ranking Scale (PRRS), teachers assessed their own self-efficacy and the characteristics of principals that they believe influence their self-efficacy. Increasingly, organizations are harnessing social media influencers (SMIs) as third-party advocates or key opinion leaders (KOLs). Consumers view them as knowledgeable sources of information (Tuten & Solomon, 2017). In the United States, the Kardashians are used by a number of organizations to promote their products. Yang (2019) noted that while Western influencers are mostly video bloggers on Instagram or YouTube, Chinese KOLs have multiple channels, including social media platforms WeChat and Weibo, social networking sites Douban or TikTok. Figures from 2016 point to it as a US$8.6 billion industry in China (Yang, 2019).

In limited overs cricket, the goal of a batsman is to score a maximum number of runs within a limited number of balls. Therefore, the number of runs scored and the number of balls faced are the two key statistics used to evaluate the performance of a batsman. The present study investigated the lived experiences of Black women on a predominantly White institution (PWI) campus in the South as they relate to the core themes of Patricia Hill Collins’ Black Feminist Thought (BFT). The core themes of BFT that were the focus of the research were Self-Definition/Empowerment, Safe Space, Controlling Images, Invisibility/Sense of Belonging. Sista circle methodology was used as the form of inquiry with two 60-minute sessions over a two-month span. However, under the cover of perfect brand image covered with medals, championship and glory, there is often a hidden world of abuse and active participation in silencing the victims to protect the image. This paper analyzes relatively recent cases of two sex scandals in sports: Jerry Sandusky case and Larry Nassar case.
