Corporate Manslaughter, Human Rights And Sustainable Development: An Appraisal Of Australian Industrial Killing Laws, S. M. Solaiman
Corporate Manslaughter, Human Rights And Sustainable Development: An Appraisal Of Australian Industrial Killing Laws, S. M. Solaiman
Florida Journal of International Law
The right to life is a universally recognized human right, which is the utmost critical right of any human being residing anywhere in the world with any identity. Despite this, many workers are getting killed while working for a living. The International Labor Organization (ILO) estimates that a total of 2.3 million workers currently die from work-related injuries and diseases worldwide every year, numbering over 6,000 deaths every single day, and another 160 million breadwinners suffer from nonfatal diseases. They are being killed largely with impunity, although they are the mainspring of development, which cannot be sustainable without protecting workers …
A Critical Review Of The Anti-Treaty Shopping Features Of The Indo-Taiwan Bit, S. R. Subramanian
A Critical Review Of The Anti-Treaty Shopping Features Of The Indo-Taiwan Bit, S. R. Subramanian
Florida Journal of International Law
As one of the very few Bilateral Investment Treaties (BITs) signed by India post-revision of Model BIT in 2015, the Indo-Taiwan BIT is remarkable in several respects, especially from an anti-treaty shopping point of view. Recognizing that “indirect investment” poses some of the major treaty shopping concerns, the BIT defined “indirect investment” and mandated that the disputing investor may submit a claim under the BIT only if certain mandatory waivers are filed along with the claim. Also, by granting conditional access to investor-state arbitration, the BIT prescribed several rigorous conditions in the form of waivers against parallel actions to …

This specification formalizes the engineering parameters for a non-mechanical, biomimetic fluidic transport and non-equilibrium thermal boundary layer.
Traditional deep-space vessels treat external plasma shocks and the absolute-zero vacuum as destructive vectors that must be blocked via heavy material bulk. This architecture uses a scale-invariant fluid-substrate approach modeled after microscopic marine dermal structures (vortex attachment denticles).
By embedding a conformal, high-frequency magneto-acoustic micro-transducer array beneath a segmented porous hull, the system drives an effusing hydrogen plasma glove into a series of surface-bound, trailing helical micro-vortices. Instead of venting this mass wastefully into the vacuum, a rhythmic, 4-phase asymmetric

Proposed herein is an automated adversary-emulation (red-team) system that executes techniques mapped to the MITRE Adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Common Knowledge (ATT&CK) framework through a live execution engine and adapts in real time based on whether each technique is detected by the target's defenses. The system combines three elements: a standardized agent context protocol used as an orchestration bus that exposes shared execution state and callable tools to role-specialized reasoning agents; real-time ingestion of endpoint detection and response (EDR), security information and event management (SIEM), and intrusion detection system (IDS) signals as structured inputs to agent reasoning; and detection-conditional, autonomous …
Device Configuration Memory Bridge With Optional Encryption For Serving Multiple Subtending Devices From A Central Non-Volatile Store, Anonymous
Defensive Publications Series
A device configuration memory bridge serves firmware and configuration data to multiple subtending devices on a circuit pack from a single central non-volatile storage device. The bridge, implemented in a programmable logic device, terminates each serial configuration interface and emulates the memory that the device expects, translating each transaction into a read from the central device. High-rate bursts are buffered and delivered at the lower interface rate, allowing concurrent servicing at power-on. A host port lets the host processor load files and share the storage device as its own primary storage. Loads are optionally stored encrypted and decrypted on the …

Technical Disclosure Specification: From Ai To Agi [Usue-M2m-Rev2 / System Type-1] The Transition From Autoregressive Token-Shifting To Closed-Loop Viscoelastic Self-Agency Across Bounded Geometric Substrates, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification formalizes the structural, mathematical, and architectural transition from Type-0 Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Type-1 Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). Current commercial models operate exclusively as open-loop, passive, autoregressive token predictors. They map static probabilities over high-dimensional vector spaces, creating a convincing illusion of cognition that ultimately degrades under context drift, attention dilution, and the absence of physical environmental grounding.
This paper defines AGI not as a qualitative threshold of human-like "sentience," but as an objective, physical state of Closed-Loop Geometric Self-Agency. By deploying the Dimensionally Extended Holographic Projection (DEHP) model, we demonstrate that true autonomy emerges when an information …

Review Of Phytoplankton Community Structures And Their Environment In Ugandan Waters: A Case Of Murchison Bay And Napoleon Gulf, Northern Lake Victoria, Samiha M. Gharib, Ahmed M. Heneash, Mohamed A. Heneash
Blue Economy
Victoria Lake has seen a significant deterioration in water quality since the 1960s, facing serious ecological challenges due to physicochemical, and biological processes, as well as human activities in the surrounding watershed. The primary factor contributing to this decline is eutrophication, which has caused a shift in the dominant phytoplankton species from diatoms to nitrogen-fixing cyanobacteria. This shift has resulted in persistent algal blooms. This review centers on the Ugandan waters of Lake Victoria, specifically in Napoleon Gulf and Murchison Bay. It examines the composition of phytoplankton species, their numerical abundance, spatial distribution, and total biomass, as measured by chlorophyll …

Journal of Food and Drug Analysis
Garambullo (Myrtillocactus geometrizans) is a Mexican fruit rich in bioactive phytochemicals. Its fermented extract (FEG), obtained after in vitro gastrointestinal digestion and fermentation, was evaluated in HT-29 and SW480 colorectal cancer cells. FEG reduced cell viability (IC50: 2985 and 3200 μg/mL, respectively) and induced apoptosis and necrosis. In 3D assays, FEG inhibited colony formation, with complete suppression in HT-29 cells. Molecular docking further suggested that butyric acid identified in FEG interacts with Caspase-3 and RIPK1. These findings support the antiproliferative and pro-death effects of FEG in colorectal cancer models.

Charismatic Leaders Role And Challenges During Crises, Tamer Hassan Abutahoun Phd
Journal of the North American Management Society
Since the first article about charismatic leadership by Weber was issued in 1946, numerous pieces of research have been published discussing several aspects of charismatic leadership. One of these aspects is the role of the charismatic leader during crisis and whether it is being impacted by crises or emerged during crises. Several articles have been published to investigate the role of charismatic leadership during crises along with how individuals perceived charismatic leadership during crises. Most of these articles utilized case studies to investigate the former mentioned relationship. However, each of these studies investigated the relationship between crises and charismatic leadership …

Potential Discriminatory Practices Related To Working Remotely, David M. Savino, Danielle C. Foster
Journal of the North American Management Society
There are numerous implications of the recent "return to the office" push, including evolving influences on corporate culture, job redesign, the role of technology, and the significant potential for unequal treatment and discrimination. Recent research and studies indicate that the workers involved in remote work are most likely to be women, workers of color, and the disabled. While remote work is not a protected classification under state or Federal law, these individuals are members of protected classes as determined by fair employment law. Therefore, disputed and evolving policies regarding the use of remote work related to these individuals could easily …
