Family-themed films can represent different parenting styles through communication, behavior, and parent–child relationships. This study aims to analyze the representation of parenting styles in the film Home Sweet Loan. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using dialogue, characters’ actions and expressions, and contextual elements of parent–child interactions as data. The data were collected through repeated viewing and systematic note-taking and were subsequently coded and deductively categorized according to authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, and neglectful parenting characteristics. The findings reveal three predominant parenting tendencies. Kaluna’s father represents authoritative parenting through emotional support, firm boundaries, open communication, and respect for his children’s …

Representasi Visual Cover Artwork “Revolusi Mental” Paroots: Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes, Revaldi Arya Utomo, Agnisa Maulani Wisesa
Journal of Language, Literature, and Arts
Cover artwork in digital music functions not only as a visual identity but also as a representational medium that constructs meaning through symbols, colors, and composition. This study examines the visual representation of Paroots’ “Revolusi Mental” cover artwork, created by Garis Edelweiss, using Roland Barthes’ semiotics and Stuart Hall’s theory of representation. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, drawing on the visual artwork and in-depth interviews with Garis Edelweiss and five members of Paroots. Barthes’ framework was used to identify denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings, while Hall’s framework was applied to examine the relationship between the creator’s encoding and the …

The Glass Finds From The Roman–Early Byzantine Residential Quarter At Oboda (‘Avedat), Yael Gorin-Rosen
The Glass Finds From The Roman–Early Byzantine Residential Quarter At Oboda (‘Avedat), Yael Gorin-Rosen
'Atiqot
The glass assemblage from Oboda spans approximately four centuries of glass production in the Eastern Mediterranean, from the Early Roman to the early Byzantine periods. It comprises forms characteristic of Palestine, Egypt and North Sinai. Noteworthy finds are four windowpane fragments, which probably belonged to a public building nearby, and an inscribed vessel with a double-lined Greek inscription, which likely reached Oboda via the Petra–Gaza (Incense) Road, with parallels at Petra and Humayma. The predominance of bowls and beakers with cut-off rims distinguishes the assemblage from contemporary sites in the country. Overall, the assemblage reflects an interaction between Egyptian and …
The Buildings Of Muslim Al-Majdal Asqalān (Ashqelon) In Their Historical-Geographic And Economic Context, Avraham (Avi) Sasson
The Buildings Of Muslim Al-Majdal Asqalān (Ashqelon) In Their Historical-Geographic And Economic Context, Avraham (Avi) Sasson
'Atiqot
In the course of the Mamluk and Ottoman periods, six villages were established in the al-Majdal Asqalān area in the southern coastal plain of Palestine, the status of this area enhancing in the 1830s when its geographic and economic advantages were appreciated. The small villages were built on the kurkar ridge slopes with minimal planning, traversed by two or three main arteries adjoined by narrow lanes. The houses were mostly built of mud bricks. Only the central village, al-Majdal Asqalān, developed on flat ground, where there was ample land for construction: most of its buildings were built of kurkar stones. …
Chimneys In Twelfth-Century, Crusader-Period Residential Architecture In The Jerusalem Area, Michael Chernin, Zubair Adawi, Yehiel Zelinger
Chimneys In Twelfth-Century, Crusader-Period Residential Architecture In The Jerusalem Area, Michael Chernin, Zubair Adawi, Yehiel Zelinger
'Atiqot
Excavations conducted over the past several decades in the environs of Jerusalem uncovered several rural sites dating to the Crusader period, most likely settled by Frankish inhabitants. At two of these sites, remains of installations identified as chimneys were integrated into the walls of the buildings—an innovation in the rural architecture of the Land of Israel, probably introduced by Frankish settlers originating from Western Europe. This article presents the different types of chimneys exposed at the sites of Khirbat el-Kurum and Wadi el-Ḥaramiya. It discusses the archaeological evidence for the appearance of such installations at sites across the Frankish Levant, …
A Stone Stamp Featuring An Egg-And-Dart Pattern: Evidence Of Domestic Interior Decoration In Roman-Period Jerusalem, Lena Naama Sharabi
A Stone Stamp Featuring An Egg-And-Dart Pattern: Evidence Of Domestic Interior Decoration In Roman-Period Jerusalem, Lena Naama Sharabi
'Atiqot
This paper examines a Roman-period chalk stamp discovered in the Jerusalem Western Wall Plaza excavations, which shows a negative impression of the egg-and-dart motif. The artifact is likely a stamp used to decorate plaster in domestic settings during the Early Roman period, specifically before 70 CE. The paper discusses the archaeological context, emphasizing the widespread use of egg-and-dart motifs in Roman architecture and interior decoration, and explores the functional aspects of the stamp and related molds. Although its exact purpose remains uncertain, the findings suggest its role in interior stucco decoration, providing valuable insights into Roman domestic craftsmanship in Judaea.
A Roman-Period Jewish Peristyle House With A Miqweh At Caesarea Maritima, Joseph Patrich
A Roman-Period Jewish Peristyle House With A Miqweh At Caesarea Maritima, Joseph Patrich
'Atiqot
An example of a miqweh—the Jewish ritual bath—was uncovered in a Roman bathhouse located in the northwestern corner of a Roman villa of the peristyle type. This villa and its bathhouse, first built in the early first century CE, was dismantled early in the third century with the miqweh being maintained and even embellished. This fact indicates that wealthy Jews continued to flourish in the city even after the calamity caused by the Great Jewish Revolt against Rome (66–70 CE), in which the Jewish population of Caesarea took part.

Gold Rings For Young Girls: Ritual Depositionof Children’S Jewelry In A Domestic Contextin Hellenistic-Period Jerusalem, Marion Sindel, Efrat Bocher, Rikki Zalut Har-Tuv, Yuval Gadot, Yiftah Shalev
'Atiqot
This article examines four gold ornaments and three bronze earrings dated to the late third–early second centuries BCE, retrieved from Building 110 in the Givʽati Parking Lot (GPL) excavations in Jerusalem. Based on their intact state, intrinsic value and similar contexts, we propose that the artifacts were intentionally deposited in or below the building’s floors on different occasions. Technological and stylistic analyses connect the jewelry to broader Hellenistic polychrome traditions, and the exceptionally small rings suggest that they probably belonged to young children, most likely girls. Based on Greek epigraphic and literary evidence for female rites of passage, specifically premarital …
The Importance Of An ‘Unimportant’ Toy: Children In The Ancient Domestic Sphere, Rona S. Avissar Lewis
The Importance Of An ‘Unimportant’ Toy: Children In The Ancient Domestic Sphere, Rona S. Avissar Lewis
'Atiqot
This paper examines an often-overlooked sector of households: children. The paper first presents the importance of children within the framework of the household and society, pointing out significant references from textual sources and imagery, such as orthostats. Then, a set of artifacts identified in the archaeological record is presented, which may be defined as spinning toys, comprising two components: a string and a perforated object. The conclusions discuss the way these toys reflect on the importance of children in society.
Insula-Like Domestic Neighborhoods In The Iron Age Southern Levant, Aren M. Maeir
Insula-Like Domestic Neighborhoods In The Iron Age Southern Levant, Aren M. Maeir
'Atiqot
In this paper, I discuss domestic neighborhoods with an insula-like character from the Iron Age Southern Levant. I relate to these neighborhoods considering urban planning of the Iron Age, Iron Age domestic structures, and the underlying mechanisms and socio-political structures that brought about their construction. Within these contexts, neighborhoods of various types existed, including insula-like neighborhoods, and it is the latter that I will attempt to explain. Finally, I will stress the importance of neighborhoods in archaeological research, and the need for archaeologists working in the Southern Levant to place more emphasis on their study.
There’S No Place Like Home: Identifying Women In Iron Age Houses, Deborah Cassuto
There’S No Place Like Home: Identifying Women In Iron Age Houses, Deborah Cassuto
'Atiqot
From rural farmsteads to urban environments, the excavation of domestic contexts in the Southern Levant provides a rich dataset for investigating how households structured quotidian activities, social interactions, and meanings through spatial organization. This article examines how the material culture of Iron Age dwellings can aid in reconstructing patterns of behavior, social organization and ideologies pertaining to women. Comparing the contextual distribution of archaeological finds with ethnographic, ethnoarchaeological and textual data, can shed light on the use of space in Iron Age households and how this reflects on gender-associated activities and economic behaviors of the individuals who lived there. This …

The Rebirth Of The Shephelah In Early Iron Age Iia:A Domestic Complex At Tel Burna, Katja Epelbaum, Aharon Tavger, Andrea Orendi, Itzhaq Shai
'Atiqot
This study investigates a domestic complex discovered in the Early Iron Age IIA stratum of Tel Burna in the southern Shephelah. The complex consists of a two-story structure with an adjacent courtyard, each fulfilling distinct domestic roles. Preserved within a destruction layer, this context revealed a substantial assemblage of architectural features and installations, ceramic vessels, botanical remains and tools. These findings provide significant insights into two primary areas: the household economy and daily life in Early Iron IIA, and the settlement dynamics of the Shephelah during a formative period of sociopolitical transformation.

Td Spec: Topological Helical Embedding Constraints For Hyperbolic Slingshot Manifolds, Christopher L. Eckes
Td Spec: Topological Helical Embedding Constraints For Hyperbolic Slingshot Manifolds, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification formalizes a non-perturbative, effective field theory (EFT) governing the topological transformation of a two-dimensional quantum information substrate into macroscopic three-dimensional volumetric space-time metrics. While standard holographic frameworks, such as the Anti-de Sitter/Conformal Field Theory (AdS/CFT) correspondence, establish that boundary data can mathematically define a bulk volume, they often rely on unverified high-dimensional compactifications or free parameters to model local mass-energy tensors.
This paper introduces a coordinate-free, macroscopic dual mechanism: physical matter and spatial geometry emerge natively when a parameter-agnostic 2D viscoelastic fluid membrane experiences localized coordinate compression (The Fold) and asymmetric rotational torque (The Twist). By restricting the …
Artificial Intelligence (Ai)-Driven Reproduction Of Network Device Failures From Pre-Failure Evidence Capture, Kamakshi R Devisetty, Nikhil Alampalli Ramu
Artificial Intelligence (Ai)-Driven Reproduction Of Network Device Failures From Pre-Failure Evidence Capture, Kamakshi R Devisetty, Nikhil Alampalli Ramu
Defensive Publications Series
A system predicts imminent network-device failures and initiates causally coherent evidence capture before volatile state disappears. In response to a causal token, device-local agents collect native, capability-aware evidence from selected causal neighbors, fuse relevant change context, and normalize the resulting artifacts into a vendor-agnostic bundle. A tiered reproduction engine uses the bundle to recreate the failure through simulation, virtual-device organic state arrival, or hardware-sandbox execution, and then ablates the reproduction to identify a minimal action set that still produces the failure signature. The system enables reproducible diagnosis of intermittent, multi-device network failures without requiring a central mirror or orchestrator.
Genai-Driven Detection Of Infrastructure Role Mutation Using Behavioral Embeddings, Dinesh Verma
Genai-Driven Detection Of Infrastructure Role Mutation Using Behavioral Embeddings, Dinesh Verma
Defensive Publications Series
A system and method detect infrastructure role mutation by learning a semantic operational identity for each monitored infrastructure entity from multi-layer runtime telemetry. The system maintains an adaptive temporal trajectory of each entity's role and detects when that role diverges from its established purpose using semantic distance metrics, without requiring predefined rules, static baselines, or known threat signatures. By incorporating cross-entity graph context, the system distinguishes legitimate orchestrated changes from unauthorized infrastructure repurposing, enabling early detection of role mutation that is invisible to conventional monitoring and security tools.
Motion-Driven Audio Instrument With Same-Signal Cadence Lock And Beat-Aligned Handoff To Tempo-Matched Media, Using The User's Own Measured Motion Cycle As A Variable-Length Rhythmic Bridge, Harnek Gulati
Defensive Publications Series
A mobile device continuously synthesizes an audio voice modulated in real time by its own inertial motion, so that a user physically swinging or carrying the device hears themselves as sound. The same inertial signal that drives the synthesis is simultaneously used as the detection carrier for a periodicity estimator, which locks onto the user's repetitive-motion period (gait cadence, arm swing) by folding N recent cycles per candidate period and scoring inter-cycle coherence. Octave ambiguity — the classic step-versus-stride error — is resolved by folding at twice the candidate period and testing the two resulting half-cycles for asymmetry, exploiting the …
Existence-Oracle-Free Cross-Node Recall In A Multi-Node Organisational Memory, Alexander Bering
Existence-Oracle-Free Cross-Node Recall In A Multi-Node Organisational Memory, Alexander Bering
Defensive Publications Series
Disclosed is a method for serving a recall request across nodes of an organisational agent memory such that the requester cannot infer the existence of records they are not authorised to see. A blocked recall is indistinguishable, to the requester, from a recall that found nothing. The disclosure pins the property to three observable equalities between the authorised view and the ground-truth view (result count, latency, and the form of the observable audit chain), establishes byte-identity of results as a fourth, separately provable property, and describes the mechanism that discharges them: the authorisation predicate is evaluated at the query layer …
Transitive Multi-Hop Erasure With Proof Of Absence In A Derived-Store Agent Memory, Alexander Bering
Transitive Multi-Hop Erasure With Proof Of Absence In A Derived-Store Agent Memory, Alexander Bering
Defensive Publications Series
Disclosed is a method for discharging an erasure request in an agent memory whose records are copied, aggregated and derived across hops and nodes. An erasure request at the origin propagates transitively along declared derivation edges into every derived store, and completion is demonstrable by a re-runnable query returning zero rows rather than asserted by a receipt. The disclosure pins three obligations (derivation recorded as an explicit edge at write time, fan-out along those edges rather than at the addressed store alone, and a query as the post-condition) and describes the enabling arrangement, including the separation between the record of …
Statutory Co-Determination As A Fail-Closed Architectural Invariant Of A Governed Data Flow, Alexander Bering
Statutory Co-Determination As A Fail-Closed Architectural Invariant Of A Governed Data Flow, Alexander Bering
Defensive Publications Series
Disclosed is a method for treating employee-representative oversight not as a policy layer above a system but as a structural precondition of the governed data flow itself: if oversight cannot be made visible, the flow does not happen. The disclosure pins six obligations (exactly one oversight record per flow keyed on the flow's correlation identity; written before delivery; fail-closed on failure of the oversight write; a machine-checked data class that fails closed to personal; the co-determination flag carried at flow granularity by the relationship between the two parties rather than by an application manifest; and an oversight history that survives …

Contradiction-Preserving Attributed Organisational Memory With Per-Contribution Erasure, Alexander Bering
Defensive Publications Series
Disclosed is a method for holding a memory shared by several members of one organisation such that conflicting statements are kept both, attributed, and marked contested rather than merged into one clean truth, and such that a single member's erasure removes that member's contributions without destroying a co-author's. The disclosure pins five obligations (provenance as a many-to-many edge rather than a column; attribution keyed on the chain-stable identity of a claim so that versioning does not sever co-authorship; corroboration yielding one record with two edges rather than a duplicate; granular per-contributor erasure with the record's standing re-derived from surviving edges; …
Works-Council-Visible-Or-Blocked: A Fail-Closed Oversight Gate For Personal-Data Flows Between Nodes, Alexander Bering
Works-Council-Visible-Or-Blocked: A Fail-Closed Oversight Gate For Personal-Data Flows Between Nodes, Alexander Bering
Defensive Publications Series
Disclosed is the concrete arrangement by which a system makes every cross-node personal-data flow visible to employee representatives before the flow occurs, and blocks the flow when that visibility cannot be established. The arrangement combines: a machine-checked data class that fails closed to personal; a co-determination flag carried at flow granularity by the bilateral relationship grant; a non-downgrade rule under which neither the classifier nor the flag can remove a non-empty flow from oversight visibility, so that classifier blind spots cannot open the gate; exactly one oversight record per flow, enforced by a uniqueness constraint on the flow's correlation identity …

Credential-Bound Capability Chokepoint For Agent-Memory Access By Installed Applications, Alexander Bering
Defensive Publications Series
Disclosed is a species-level arrangement for governing an installed application's access to an agent memory through a single enforced facade, with four pinned properties: the acting identity and the data scope are derived from the presented credential and the installation record, never asserted by the caller; the invocation record is written before any output leaves; the application's own writes are readable back through the same door under an application-private provenance scope rather than through a second, ungoverned path; and the data resources an application may touch are declared in its manifest and separately granted in the installation ledger, with both …

Technical Disclosure Specification: Wearable Biomimetic Harmonic Alignment Liner And Micro-Distributed Gan Power Stage Matrix For Biological Homeostasis, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This specification formalizes the mechanical, electrical, and topological architecture for a wearable, direct-dermal biomimetic alignment garment designed to mitigate the systemic biological degradation pathways caused by prolonged microgravity exposure. Traditional aerospace paradigms treat gravity loss as an external mechanical force deficit, attempting to resolve bone-density wastage and fluidic intracranial crowding via clumsy macro-scale kinetic countermeasures (e.g., spinning centrifuges) or localized chemical vectors.
Under the Dimensionally Extended Holographic Projection (DEHP) cosmology, biology is re-modeled as a scale-invariant series of localized wave packets vibrating against a 2D viscoelastic fluid membrane resting at absolute equilibrium (\(z=0\)). This paper introduces an integrated, lightweight backpack …
