Inference-Layer Decision Trace Logging And Coordinated Multi-Component Rollback For Ai Incident Response, Mukesh Kumar Singh
Inference-Layer Decision Trace Logging And Coordinated Multi-Component Rollback For Ai Incident Response, Mukesh Kumar Singh
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure describes two related technical methods for artificial intelligence (AI) incident response. The first method captures a defined set of data fields at each model inference event, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) context where applicable, and writes the resulting record to append-only storage with a cryptographic hash chain linking each record to its predecessor, producing a tamper-evident forensic log. The second method defines model rollback as a single atomic operation across five independently versioned components — model weights, inference configuration, downstream service dependency versions, safety policy configuration, and a training data snapshot reference — selected by a single composite identifier …
The Helical Transmutation Manifest: A Field Theory Of 2d Membrane Information Substruction, Coordinate Z-Axis Mapping, And Thermal Phase Space Dynamics, Christopher L. Eckes
The Helical Transmutation Manifest: A Field Theory Of 2d Membrane Information Substruction, Coordinate Z-Axis Mapping, And Thermal Phase Space Dynamics, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This paper presents a novel, non-perturbative topological field theory that unifies quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and gravitation by redefining physical matter as emergent geometric structures from a lower-dimensional informational substrate. We postulate that the universe's fundamental baseline is a two-sided, non-orientable 2D informational membrane situated at the boundary z = 0. Using a newly defined Helical Transmutation Operator (\(\^{\mathcal{T}}\)), flat, complex probability densities are projected into a 3D+ runtime environment as continuous physical trajectories exhibiting helical geometries. By factoring in an independent spatial z-axis, we derive a geometric origin for gravitational mass-energy membrane tension and identify antimatter as a mirrored, left-handed …
Attack-Vector-Specific Context Modifier Taxonomy With Per-Factor Capping For Ai Incident Severity Scoring, Mukesh Kumar Singh
Attack-Vector-Specific Context Modifier Taxonomy With Per-Factor Capping For Ai Incident Severity Scoring, Mukesh Kumar Singh
Defensive Publications Series
A taxonomy of situational context modifiers, specific to AI-security attack vectors rather than generic deployment characteristics, for use in adjusting AI incident severity scores. Each context modifier represents a distinct, named AI-security attack pattern (model/training-data compromise, retrieval-augmented-generation data exfiltration, prompt-based instruction override, unauthorized agent/privilege escalation, broader multi-agent escalation risk, and generic adversarial input absent a specific identified vector), each assigned a fixed base value reflecting its relative severity contribution and a per-factor cap preventing any single context from contributing beyond a defined ceiling regardless of its base value. The taxonomy is designed for use with a diminishing-contribution aggregation function (disclosed …
Cryptographic Hash-Based Incident Deduplication With Architecturally-Separated Acute And Chronic Harm Classification For Ai Security Incident Records, Mukesh Kumar Singh
Cryptographic Hash-Based Incident Deduplication With Architecturally-Separated Acute And Chronic Harm Classification For Ai Security Incident Records, Mukesh Kumar Singh
Defensive Publications Series
A method for deduplicating AI security incident records using a deterministic, environment-salted cryptographic hash (HMAC-SHA256) computed over incident-identifying fields, stored as a mandatory, schema-validated field on every incident record within a layered incident-classification architecture. The architecture further defines a distinct classification layer that separates the recording of acute (immediate-impact) harm from chronic (long-term, systemically-accumulating) harm as parallel fields on the same incident record — including a longitudinal harm-accumulation indicator and a trust-erosion tracking field — rather than treating chronic harm as a special case requiring a separate deduplication or merge decision. This architectural separation allows acute and chronic AI harms, …

Al-Bahir
Vitamin D deficiency is a widespread public health concern, necessitating a clear understanding of knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) among populations. Therefore, this study was conducted to assess Libyan citizens' knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) regarding vitamin D in the western region of Libya. This study was carried out between June and September of 2021. A questionnaire was distributed across the study area and the complete responses were 314, with 62.7% were females and 37.3% were males. The scores were calculated as percentages and statistically tested. Additionally, the impact of some socio-demographic factors (age, gender, education level, job, and salary) …
What If Refugees Mattered? The Challenge To International Law, Catherine Dauvergne
What If Refugees Mattered? The Challenge To International Law, Catherine Dauvergne
All Faculty Publications
The starting point of this work is that the figure of the refugee is under-theorized in international law, to the point of being almost entirely absent from dominant accounts of international law. This absence is all the more striking because international law is, if anything, over-theorized. Or, in Martti Koskenniemi’s (vastly more polite) words, “more than other fields, international law’s centre of gravity has been with theoretical abstraction and doctrinal construction.” So why is the figure of the refugee absent? And why does it matter? These are the key questions I am exploring in this work.
Preparing Adjunct Clinical Instructors For Success: The Impact Of A Structured Orientation Program On Perceived Capabilities As Measured By The Capabilities Of Nurse Educators (Cone) Questionnaire, Amanda Stone
Doctor of Nursing Practice Projects
Adjunct clinical instructors are essential in helping nursing students connect classroom learning to real-world patient care. A needs assessment within an associate degree nursing (ADN) program identified that adjunct clinical instructors received only a brief overview of policies, contributing to role uncertainty and inconsistent preparation for clinical teaching responsibilities. Current literature supports the use of structured orientation and mentorship to better prepare nurses as they transition into clinical educator roles. The purpose of this quantitative, quasi-experimental quality improvement project was to evaluate the impact of a structured orientation program on adjunct clinical instructors’ perceived capabilities. Guided by the Plan-Do-Study-Act change …

Prediction Of Furniture Exports In Türkiye Using Machine Learning Methods, İlker Akyüz, Nadi̇r Ersen, Ti̇muçi̇n Bardak, Selahatti̇n Bardak
Turkish Journal of Agriculture and Forestry
In this study, it was aimed to predict Türkiye’s furniture exports for the period from January 2010 to May 2025 using machine learning methods based on macroeconomic indicators. The dataset consisted of 10 economic variables, including the furniture industry production index, capacity utilization rate, import volume, total exports, real effective exchange rate, producer price index, money supply, and oil prices, with 185 observations per variable and a total of 2035 data points. During the data preprocessing phase, no missing or outlier values were detected, and the data were divided into 70% training and 30% testing subsets. Decision tree, random forest, …

Ozonated Water Delays The Microbial Growth And Sensory Quality Loss Of Capia Pepper Fruit During Cold Storage, Yasi̇n Şi̇mşek, Mehmet Ali̇ Koyuncu, Derya Erbaş
Turkish Journal of Agriculture and Forestry
The aim of the present research was to evaluate, for the first time, the effect of ozonated water treatments on the postharvest quality of capia pepper (Capsicum annuum L. ‘Kaptan’). The peppers were harvested at the optimum time and transported to the laboratory immediately. Uniform and quality fruit was selected and precooled. After precooling, the fruit was divided into four groups. The first three groups were immersed in ozonated water at three different concentrations (1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 ppm) for 15 min. The last group (control) was immersed in distilled water for 15 min. The peppers were kept at room …

Turkish Journal of Agriculture and Forestry
Developing resistant chickpea cultivars is essential for managing Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum, a major pathogen responsible for substatial yield losses. In this study, we conducted RNA-seq–based transcriptome analysis to characterize gene expression changes in resistant and susceptible genotypes of Cicer arietinum L. and C. reticulatum following inoculation with Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceris race 0. Susceptible genotypes exhibited markedly higher numbers of differentially expressed genes compared with resistant genotypes. Defense-related genes were induced in all plants upon infection; however, resistant genotypes specifically upregulated genes functioning in the apoplast or extracellular region while downregulating intracellular processes—a pattern not observed …

Ameliorating Chromium-Induced Stress In Maize Through Phosphorus And Melatonin Application, Zunaira Zafar, Shoaib Ahmad, Muhammad Akhtar, Shafaqat Ali, Sarah Owdah Alomrani, Muhammad Ali Alshehri
Turkish Journal of Agriculture and Forestry
Chromium (Cr+6) toxicity is a significant environmental stress factor that severely hampers plant growth and productivity. This study aimed to evaluate whether the combined application of phosphorus fertilizer and melatonin could alleviate chromium induced stress in maize (Zea mays L.). A foliar spray of melatonin (50 µM) was applied alongside two phosphorus sources—phosphoric acid (PA) and diammonium phosphate (DAP), each at 60% of the recommended rate. Two maize cultivars (FH-1046 and YH-1898) were grown under chromium stress (0, 15, and 30 mg kg–1) to assess treatment effects. The results demonstrated that FH-1046 plants treated with PA + melatonin under noncontaminated …

Interview With Orca Winner John Hibbing, Political Science; How Political Attitudes Correlate With Physiological Traits, Mark A. Griep, John Hibbing
UNL ORCA Interview Series
Dr. John Hibbing was awarded the ORCA in 1993. John was born in 1953 in Paullina, Iowa. He earned a bachelor's in secondary education from Dana College in Blair, Nebraska, but then realized that teaching high school wasn't for him. Instead, he attended the University of Iowa, where he earned a master's and doctorate in political science. In 1981, he joined the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as an assistant professor of political science and rose quickly through the ranks. Initially, he studied the reasons that members of the U.S. Congress retire. This led to a longer-term collaboration with Kevin Smith and …
