Dominant-Harm-Anchored Severity Scoring Engine For Ai Incident Classification With Diminishing-Contribution Context Modeling And Calibration-Aware Regulatory Trigger Confidence Bands, Mukesh Kumar Singh Jun 2026

Dominant-Harm-Anchored Severity Scoring Engine For Ai Incident Classification With Diminishing-Contribution Context Modeling And Calibration-Aware Regulatory Trigger Confidence Bands, Mukesh Kumar Singh

Defensive Publications Series

A severity scoring system and method for classifying artificial intelligence (AI) security incidents. The system computes a severity score using a dominant-harm anchor: the highest-weighted harm dimension present in an incident is taken as the base score, with all other present harm dimensions contributing only half their summed weight, capped at a fixed maximum, preventing minor cumulative harms from arithmetically equalling a single severe harm. Situational context factors (attack-vector-specific) are added on top of the harm-anchored base score using a diminishing-contribution model in which each successive context, ordered by descending base value, contributes half the weight of the previous context, …

Robot Identity Framework — Self-Certifying Decentralized Robot Identity With Hardware Binding To Physical Port Serial Number, Edward D. H. Wang

Defensive Publications Series

Field: Robot identity systems; decentralized identifiers; hardware-bound network identity

Problem Solved: No prior robot network standard defines a decentralized, self-certifying identity system for robots that binds network identity to physical hardware, eliminates central identity gatekeepers, supports key rotation and compromise recovery, and provides cryptographically verifiable identity documents resolvable across a federated registry infrastructure.

Disclosure Summary: The Robot Identity Framework defines how every RP2P™ peer obtains a permanent, globally unique, cryptographically verifiable identity — the Robot Identifier — using the did:rp2p decentralized identifier method. The RID is derived from the genesis Ed25519 public key, making it self-certifying. An optional hardware binding …

Opt-In Comparison Of A Consumer-Wearable Biometric Against A General-Population And A Self-Reported Disease-Cohort Distribution, Computed Without Raw Data Leaving The Device, Under Composed On-Device Local Differential Privacy, Secure Cross-Device Aggregation, Streaming (W-Event) Privacy Budgeting, And Minimum-Cohort Small-Cell Gating, Gerard Ziemski Jun 2026

Opt-In Comparison Of A Consumer-Wearable Biometric Against A General-Population And A Self-Reported Disease-Cohort Distribution, Computed Without Raw Data Leaving The Device, Under Composed On-Device Local Differential Privacy, Secure Cross-Device Aggregation, Streaming (W-Event) Privacy Budgeting, And Minimum-Cohort Small-Cell Gating, Gerard Ziemski

Defensive Publications Series

Consumer health wearables increasingly let a user see how a personal biometric (resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, cardiorespiratory fitness, respiratory rate, blood-oxygen saturation, sleep duration) compares to a population. This disclosure describes a method by which a user opts in to such a comparison and is shown two distributions — one for a general population and one for a self-reported disease cohort (paradigmatically Parkinson's disease), each optionally filtered by sex and age band — without any raw, identifiable health value ever leaving the user's device. The novelty is not in any single component, all of which are established prior art …

Per-Session Sleep Onset Latency As A Two-Tailed Self-Tracking Signal In Parkinson's Disease, Measured Across Nights And Naps Over A Staging-Independent In-Bed Window, Gerard Ziemski Jun 2026

Per-Session Sleep Onset Latency As A Two-Tailed Self-Tracking Signal In Parkinson's Disease, Measured Across Nights And Naps Over A Staging-Independent In-Bed Window, Gerard Ziemski

Defensive Publications Series

A companion family of disclosures analyzes consumer-wearable sleep over a staging-independent in-bed window — robust overnight heart-rate variability, the same per session including naps, and the inverse movement-active "burden" read — by windowing on time-in-bed rather than the device's movement-based sleep/wake labels. None of them measures how long it takes to fall asleep. This disclosure adds sleep onset latency (SOL) to that family: per session — every night and every nap — SOL is computed as the offset from a sleep-intent anchor (the start of the in-bed window, optionally tightened by secondary cues) to the first sustained sleep onset detected …

Design Rationale For A Retroinverso 4-Fluorophenylalanine Ss-31 Analogue (Ri-4fphe-Ss31), Karsten Seto Jun 2026

Design Rationale For A Retroinverso 4-Fluorophenylalanine Ss-31 Analogue (Ri-4fphe-Ss31), Karsten Seto

Defensive Publications Series

This document describes the design rationale, predicted properties, and molecular specification for RI-4FPhe-SS31, a retroinverso analogue of the mitochondria-targeted tetrapeptide SS-31 (elamipretide, D-Arg-Dmt-Lys-Phe-NH2) incorporating a 4-fluorophenylalanine substitution. The two modifications address independent metabolic vulnerabilities of the parent compound: the retroinverso backbone confers resistance to endogenous peptidases, while the 4-fluorine substitution on the C-terminal phenylalanine blocks CYP450-mediated aromatic hydroxylation. The combined effect is predicted to extend the plasma half-life of the molecule while preserving the net +3 charge and the spatial arrangement of cationic and aromatic side chains required for selective interaction with cardiolipin at the inner mitochondrial membrane. This document …

An Open Framework For An Interplanetary Energy And Resource Loom: Utilizing Non-Demolition Swarm-Drone Harvesting And High-Inclination Polar Trajectories, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure presents a decentralized, high-efficiency system architecture designed to bypass the thermodynamic, material, and logistical bottlenecks blocking civilization's transition to Type I status. The Interplanetary Energy and Resource Loom introduces a decoupled, multi-tier space architecture that separates primary orbital infrastructure from high-friction planetary environments.

The system utilizes a heavy, low-maintenance master vehicle propelled by a Tethered Fusion-Driven Sail operating along a high-inclination solar Y-axis polar trajectory to achieve 100% unblocked solar and cosmic radiation exposure. Material ingestion (volatile gases and liquid composites) is delegated to a specialized swarm of high-velocity, aerodynamically optimized Collector Drones that execute transient atmospheric skimming …

Near-Critical Supercritical-Co₂ Desiccation Of Triple-Knockout Porcine Red Blood Cells: A Proposed Protocol With Haemolysis-Reduction Pathway Analysis, Chaiyapat Chuenglertsiri, Pattrick Chen Jun 2026

Near-Critical Supercritical-Co₂ Desiccation Of Triple-Knockout Porcine Red Blood Cells: A Proposed Protocol With Haemolysis-Reduction Pathway Analysis, Chaiyapat Chuenglertsiri, Pattrick Chen

Defensive Publications Series

This conceptual framework discloses, as defensive prior art (CC BY 4.0), a near-critical supercritical-CO2 (scCO2) desiccation protocol for ambient-temperature preservation of genetically engineered triple-knockout (TKO) porcine red blood cells (pRBCs), in which the GGTA1, beta4GalNT2, and CMAH carbohydrate-antigen genes are inactivated and human complement-regulatory transgenes (e.g. CD47, CD55) are expressed. No experimental haemolysis, recovery, or potency data are generated; all values are cited literature anchors. TKO pRBCs are described accurately as genetically advanced but preclinical (Yamamoto 2021; Ko 2022; Chornenkyy 2023), with no clinically deployed pig-red-cell product and current handling assuming a cold chain. The protocol operates at 74-80 bar …

Three Pathogen-Reduction Strategies For Ambient-Temperature Dried Red Blood Cells: An Efficacy–Cost Decision Framework For Resource-Limited Settings, Chaiyapat Chuenglertsiri, Pattrick Chen Jun 2026

Three Pathogen-Reduction Strategies For Ambient-Temperature Dried Red Blood Cells: An Efficacy–Cost Decision Framework For Resource-Limited Settings, Chaiyapat Chuenglertsiri, Pattrick Chen

Defensive Publications Series

This conceptual analysis discloses, as defensive prior art (CC BY 4.0), an efficacy-cost decision framework for ensuring pathogen safety of ambient-temperature dried red blood cells (RBCs) produced where laboratory donor screening is incomplete and transfusion-transmitted-infection burden is high. No experimental potency, recovery, or inactivation data are generated; every value is a cited literature anchor or labelled estimate. An earlier version over-stated riboflavin-UV efficacy by quoting plasma/platelet log-reductions for red cells; this is corrected, as haemoglobin attenuates UV and lowers whole-blood efficacy (SARS-CoV-2 about 3.3 log in whole blood vs about 4.8 in plasma; Ragan et al. 2020). The problem is …

Ambient-Temperature Red Blood Cell Preservation By Intracellular Trehalose Vitrification And Supercritical-Co₂ Drying With Food-Grade Bacteriostatic Excipients: A Conceptual Framework, Chaiyapat Chuenglertsiri, Pattrick Chen Jun 2026

Ambient-Temperature Red Blood Cell Preservation By Intracellular Trehalose Vitrification And Supercritical-Co₂ Drying With Food-Grade Bacteriostatic Excipients: A Conceptual Framework, Chaiyapat Chuenglertsiri, Pattrick Chen

Defensive Publications Series

This conceptual framework discloses, as defensive prior art (CC BY 4.0), a multi-component system for ambient-temperature dried red blood cells (RBCs) that would remove the 1-6 C cold chain and 42-day shelf life constraining transfusion in remote and tropical settings. No experimental recovery, haemolysis, or stability data are generated; every quantitative statement is a cited literature anchor. The system combines (i) intracellular trehalose loading as a vitrification agent, e.g. by transient electroporation (Chen Y 2006); (ii) supercritical-CO2 (scCO2) drying as a surface-tension-free dehydration step, explicitly not a pathogen-inactivation or cell-disruption step; (iii) food-grade bacteriostatic excipients (epsilon-poly-L-lysine, rosmarinic, citric and ascorbic …

Enteral, Intravenous, And Haemoglobin-Based Oxygen Carriers: A Capacity–Safety Decision Framework For Settings Without Compatible Blood, Chaiyapat Chuenglertsiri, Pattrick Chen Jun 2026

Enteral, Intravenous, And Haemoglobin-Based Oxygen Carriers: A Capacity–Safety Decision Framework For Settings Without Compatible Blood, Chaiyapat Chuenglertsiri, Pattrick Chen

Defensive Publications Series

This conceptual analysis discloses, as defensive prior art (CC BY 4.0), a capacity-safety-cost decision framework for delivering oxygen-carrying support where compatible allogeneic blood is unavailable (trauma, remote/military, mass-casualty, rare blood phenotypes). No experimental data are generated; all scores are relative, literature-informed estimates. An earlier version proposed oral perfluorocarbon (PFC) as a systemic oxygen supplement; that claim is quantitatively implausible and is withdrawn here. The framework instead compares three oxygen-carrier modalities: (A) enteral PFC oxygenation, for which oxygenated perfluorochemical delivered to the gut lumen has been shown to ameliorate respiratory failure in mammals (Okabe et al., Med 2021); (B) intravenous PFC …

Proper training is essential to ensure safe operations and compliance with emissions requirements. This study aims to understand the regulatory instruments regarding limiting GHG emissions from international shipping and the technological solutions that could help the maritime sector reach the IMO's ambition. These instruments and solutions are discussed, and the authors thereafter suggest the …

Spatial Tax Intelligence: Implementing Integrated Spatial Decision Support Systems For Smart Urban Governance, Wildan R. Irfana, Haldis A. Bahar, Muhammad H. Candra Jun 2026

Spatial Tax Intelligence: Implementing Integrated Spatial Decision Support Systems For Smart Urban Governance, Wildan R. Irfana, Haldis A. Bahar, Muhammad H. Candra

Smart City

The transition toward smart governance requires local governments to adopt data-driven policy approaches, particularly in managing urban tax capacity. However, tax administration in many developing regions remains predominantly tabular and administrative, limiting the ability to capture the spatial dynamics of economic activities. This reveals a critical knowledge gap, as integrated frameworks combining spatial and tax data to identify geographic disparities in tax performance remain limited. Consequently, areas with high economic activity but low tax compliance, referred to as tax blind spots, often remain undetected. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrating spatial and tax data in identifying spatial-tax …

Post-Machine | You Vs. The Algorithm: A Creative Act Of Rebellion, Matthew Schultz Jun 2026

Post-Machine | You Vs. The Algorithm: A Creative Act Of Rebellion, Matthew Schultz

Masters Theses

Algorithms have become intertwined with everyday life, infiltrating both personal and social environments. They have transformed from influenceable tools useful for customizing information to machines of influence that are now dictating standards. These machines have begun morphing individuals idea of the self. This has become an epidemic of lost identity and fragmented self in order to conform to algorithmic acceptance. Emerging professionals in creative fields in the last decade have become particularly susceptible to this influence. If not addressed, young creatives will soon lose any autonomy of self and have a homogenized identity that matches the demands of the algorithm …

Creation As Calling: The Intersection Of Faith And Craft, Alexandra J. Slyman Jun 2026

Creation As Calling: The Intersection Of Faith And Craft, Alexandra J. Slyman

Masters Theses

This thesis, titled "Creation as Calling: The Intersection of Faith and Craft," explores the relationship between creative writing—specifically within the epic fantasy genre—and Christian belief. The work is divided into three distinct sections: an Artist Statement, a Craft Element Paper, and a Creative Manuscript. The Artist Statement establishes a creative philosophy grounded in the biblical doctrine of imago Dei, or being made in the image of God. It argues that the human impulse to create is a divine mandate to reflect God’s glory and a means of bearing witness to the "great story of salvation". The author contends that fiction …

A Critique Of Richard Carrier’S Jesus-Myth Theory: Examining Select References To The Historical Jesus In Paul’S Epistles, John P. Nichols Jun 2026

A Critique Of Richard Carrier’S Jesus-Myth Theory: Examining Select References To The Historical Jesus In Paul’S Epistles, John P. Nichols

Masters Theses

Richard Carrier is arguably the contemporary voice promoting Jesus-mythicism, the idea that Jesus of Nazareth never existed. Though in the scholarly minority, Carrier has assembled numerous arguments for rejecting the Gospels and Acts as historically reliable, as well as all historical references to Jesus in Paul’s letters. He has proposed his own rules for historical inquiry to replace the traditional criteria of authenticity used by historical-Jesus scholars. In conjunction with his own criteria, Carrier has demonstrated the use of Bayes’ Theorem to assess the probability of Jesus’ existence. This thesis has considered certain portions of Carrier’s thesis against the historical …

Heirlooms, Jenna Ashby Macfarland Jun 2026

Heirlooms, Jenna Ashby Macfarland

Masters Theses

The title of my creative manuscript is Heirlooms. It contains chapters of a fictional novel in the mystery genre. In the critical paper, I address Literary Tradition as it pertains to mystery writing. Specifically, I focus on the evolution of the mystery genre from the detached rationalism of Sherlock Holmes to the psychological realism of writers like Tana French and Liane Moriarty. Their styles reveal a shift from intellectual detection to moral introspection within the genre. Heirlooms continues this transformation by centering a female protagonist whose investigation becomes a search for spiritual and emotional truth. By integrating women’s voices and …

The Things That Keep Me Up At Night, Kaitlyn Grace Wilson Jun 2026

The Things That Keep Me Up At Night, Kaitlyn Grace Wilson

Masters Theses

This creative nonfiction manuscript is a collection of reflective personal essays centered on ordinary experiences, curiosities, anxieties, and observations that gradually expand into larger questions about identity, memory, adulthood, faith, and human behavior. Rather than relying on dramatic plot or chronological structure, the essays move associatively through thought, humor, research, and reflection. Subjects throughout the manuscript range from fireworks, sourdough starter, dreams, and Facebook Marketplace to art history, floating the Chattahoochee River, weddings, music performances, and irrational fears. Through these seemingly small topics, the manuscript explores the emotional weight and philosophical questions hidden within everyday life.

Much of the project …

Gertrude, A Woman Set Apart: Chosen Beyond Expectation In Polarized Womanhood, Jessica Lorriane Weatherford Mattison

Masters Theses

This thesis introduces the artistic vision and research that guide Forever Skies. The text examines the political and personal landscapes that shape Gertrude, the historical realities of the WASP program, and the feminist frameworks that illuminate how women navigated gender, war, and expectation. In weaving these elements together, the goal is not merely to resurrect one woman’s incredible story, but to honor the nearly forgotten history of a generation of pilots. Through creative interpretation and scholarly inquiry, this project seeks to reclaim a legacy still suspended in the wide, forever sky that once held her, the WASP, and her forever …

Exploring Low Birth Weight In The Metro Atlanta Area Using The Urban Institute’S Social Mobility Dashboard, Jason Davis, David Pena, Lisa Holland-Davis

The Journal of Public and Professional Sociology

Infant birth weight is the foundation for childhood and adult health outcomes, and health, according to the Urban Institute, is an important predictor of upward social mobility. Prior studies have found that infants with low birth weight are susceptible to a host of physical, cognitive, and social deficiencies that can adversely impact the ability to achieve upward mobility. The current study utilizes the Urban Institute's Mobility Metrics to explore low infant birth rates among the 11 counties that comprise the Metro Atlanta area. We focus on the average rate of low birth weight from 2021-2023 overall and disaggregated by mothers’ …
