Journal of Food and Drug Analysis
Phthalates are ubiquitous environmental contaminants that raise particular concern for children, who generally experience higher exposure levels and are more susceptible to environmental pollutants. To understand potential molecular mechanisms, we conducted a cross-sectional study of 256 Taiwanese children aged 8–10 years from two population-based cohorts: the Taiwan Birth Panel Study and the Taiwan Early-Life Cohort. Serum phosphocholine-containing lipids were profiled by liquid chromatography coupled with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry and associated with urinary levels of 12 phthalate metabolites. Multiple linear regression models, adjusted for demographic and socioeconomic factors, revealed that mono-(2-ethyl-5-hydroxyhexyl) phthalate (MEHHP), an oxidative metabolite of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), …

Metabolomics Of Per- And Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (Pfas) Exposure: Advances In Lc-Ms Technology And Applications, Yu-Meng Wang, Pei-Chen Lin, Yu-Da Zheng, Pin-Shiuan Wu, Kuo-Tai Hua, Sung-Fang Chen
Journal of Food and Drug Analysis
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a class of synthetic chemicals known for their high stability and bioaccumulation potential, leading to their widespread presence in the environment and human tissues. Exposure to PFAS has been associated with significant health concerns, including neurotoxicity, hepatotoxicity, and metabolic disturbances. Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS) based metabolomics has emerged as a powerful and central tool for PFAS research, enabling the comprehensive analysis of metabolic changes induced by exposure. This review provides a critical summary of the applications of LC-MS metabolomics in both clinical studies and various experimental models, including in vivo models (mice) and in …
An On-Vessel Signal Discrimination Layer For Bandwidth-Constrained Maritime Decision Support, Dev Mohanty
An On-Vessel Signal Discrimination Layer For Bandwidth-Constrained Maritime Decision Support, Dev Mohanty
Defensive Publications Series
The DeepBlue protocol sentry is an on-vessel signal-discrimination independent layer that filters high-frequency NMEA telemetry streams into compact, information-dense feature vectors. Unlike AIS broadcasts, rather than transmitting all raw sensor data (which is bandwidth-expensive and mostly redundant), it:
- Normalizes raw NMEA sentences across GPS, propulsion, environmental sensors
- Derives features (fuel consumption, course/speed changes, propulsion efficiency drift, loitering detection) over rolling 1-5 min windows
- Scores materiality — only flags features that deviate from the vessel's own baseline
- Assembles vectors of tens-to-hundreds bytes for transmission over satellite/mesh uplinks
The key insight: filter redundancy at source before transmission, not downstream. It's a …

Ψ-Theory: Living Core. Ontological Development And Formalization. Comments 1–21, Valerii Y. Vorobiev
Ψ-Theory: Living Core. Ontological Development And Formalization. Comments 1–21, Valerii Y. Vorobiev
Defensive Publications Series
This document compiles comments 1–21, which chronologically develop and formalize Ψ-Theory — an ontological framework where time (Ψ-field) is the primary metric of reality, and gravity, mass, and quantum phenomena emerge from its dynamics. It addresses the crises of modern cosmology (dark matter, dark energy, Hubble tension) and quantum mechanics (measurement, non-locality) by replacing ad-hoc entities with a single causal principle. The comments include testable predictions (BH shadow shift, underground chronometry, Tully-Fisher derivation) and propose a phase diagram of reality from (4,2) to (0,-2).
A Structural Decoding Framework For The Voynich Manuscript: Sectional Registers, Gallows Morphology, And Quire 20 Star Mapping, Daniel Austin Harbison
A Structural Decoding Framework For The Voynich Manuscript: Sectional Registers, Gallows Morphology, And Quire 20 Star Mapping, Daniel Austin Harbison
Defensive Publications Series
This paper presents a structural and testable framework for approaching the Voynich Manuscript through manuscript organization, token behavior, morphological recurrence, and rule-based decoding. The model proposes that the manuscript contains at least two broad functional registers: an A section centered on herbal and recipe-like material, and a B section centered on balneological, ritual, or charm-like material. It further introduces a three-layer reading system, a confidence-ranked provisional lexicon, a formal interpretation of the qo- family as a productive prefix class, and a structural map of Quire 20 based on star distribution and folio status. No claim of complete or final decipherment …

Defensive Specifications Disclosure: Token-Free, Non-Linear Boundary, And Wave-Interference Based Architecture For Distributed Autonomous Ai Agent Frameworks, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
The Distributed Agent Networks Integrated Efficiency Layer (DANIEL) is a token-free, hardware-agnostic framework for distributed autonomous AI agents that replaces symbolic communication with a three-layer, analog-modeled mathematical system. The framework utilizes phase-matrix integration to execute scalar consensus loops via trigonometric wave equations. Security is enforced by a passive, non-linear activation gate that leverages input gradient vectors to dynamically harden against high-amplitude adversarial prompt injections. Network state synchronization is maintained across a decentralized peer-to-peer mesh mapped onto a continuous toroidal ring topology, employing a rolling average vortex matrix to passively filter localized agent hallucinations and single-node failures. This integrated architecture removes …

Loci ∞ — Infinity Memory Middleware With Temporal Compression And Universal Cross-Platform Injection, Arko Sanyal
Defensive Publications Series
We disclose LOCI ∞, a universal memory middleware system for cross-platform AI memory synchronization. LOCI extracts entity knowledge from conversations on any LLM platform, stores it in a user-owned typed dual-stream profile (informational stream: heat-decaying associative entities; quantifiable stream: exact typed facts with zero-hallucination retrieval), and injects relevant context back into any LLM platform at any point during or between sessions. The system implements hardware-aware storage tiering mapped to entity semantic salience scores (VRAM/RAM/NVMe), graph-neighbor heat propagation via spreading activation, generation-time confidence-gated correction, keystroke-level predictive context prewarm, and a privacy-locked population memory layer using federated learning with differential privacy. The Dimensionally Extended Holographic Projection Model: A Viscoelastic Unified Field Specification, Christopher L. Eckes
The Dimensionally Extended Holographic Projection Model: A Viscoelastic Unified Field Specification, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
This technical disclosure formalizes the geometric synthesis of the Dimensionally Extended Holographic Projection (DEHP) model. We present a particle-free, mathematically cohesive alternative to standard general relativity and non-baryonic dark matter. The framework replaces independent fundamental forces with a single fluid-dynamic mechanism: the topological metric embedding of a continuous, two-dimensional (2D) phase fluid substrate (z=0) operating in absolute harmonic resonance (the "Garden State").
Three-dimensional (3D) physical matter (z > 0) is modeled as a localized, high-tension wave crest ("knot") forced outward along a spatial z-axis by an original inflationary puncture flux (\(J_{z}\)). By defining antimatter as a zero-volume, 2D negative wave trough …
Touch Input For Passive Fingernail Displays Via Hub-Side Capacitive Sensing Over A Shared Power-And-Data Jewelry Conductor, Benny Goldstein
Touch Input For Passive Fingernail Displays Via Hub-Side Capacitive Sensing Over A Shared Power-And-Data Jewelry Conductor, Benny Goldstein
Defensive Publications Series
A wearable system adds touch input to artificial-fingernail displays while keeping the nail itself passive: no battery, no wireless transceiver, and, in the preferred embodiment, no touch-sensing circuitry on the nail. Each nail unit carries an electronic display and a transparent touch electrode. Operating power and image data reach the nail over a single decorative conductor - fine insulated wire concealed in a hollow jewelry chain - from a body-worn hub, such as a finger ring or bracelet, housing the battery, controller, and Bluetooth radio. The same conductor also carries the touch-sense signal: the hub measures the capacitance of the …

Unpacking Architectural Drawing Literacy: A Critical Pedagogy Approach To Architecture Collections, Shima Hosseininasab, Virginia Ferris, Burak Erdim
Journal of Contemporary Archival Studies
This paper explores using architectural drawings as primary sources in instruction sessions at the North Carolina State University Libraries’ Special Collections Research Center (SCRC) with a critical pedagogy approach. Architectural collections are among the SCRC’s most frequently used materials, yet effective engagement with these unique resources requires specialized knowledge that is often lacking among teaching librarians and faculty, who excel in artifactual literacy and archival practices. The research addresses this gap by arguing that additional guidance in architectural history and technical details is necessary to improve teaching methods and enhance student interpretation of architectural drawings. Using a 200-level architecture class …

The Effect Of Ideals In Near Rings With Respect To Zero Divisor And Completely Equiprime Split Graphs, Sarah Hamid Al-Sharifi, Ameer A. J. Al-Swidi
Iraqi Journal for Computer Science and Mathematics
We seek to find several relationships for some of the graphs that were previously studied by us(completely equiprime graph $CEQ_J( N )$) and by other researchers(simple graph $\Gamma $(R)) based on the ideals of the near rings with our new definition, which is the split and non-split of graphs, which determines the consequent priorities in light of that, specifying that according to the properties of the near ring elements and their ideals.

\hlThis paper presents the use of StyleGAN2-ADA for fashion image synthesis and editing. We demonstrate that generative adversarial networks (GANs) can generate realistic and diverse fashion images even under moderate data constraints. The model trained on a dataset of 9,000 fashion images achieved a Fréchet Inception Distance (FID) of 10.8, a Garment Structure Accuracy (GSA) of 0.85, a Pattern Continuity Score (PCS) of 0.78, and an Attribute Transfer Accuracy (ATA) averaging 75% across key attributes. These quantitative results confirm the model’s ability to produce high-quality, structurally consistent, and semantically coherent fashion images. Unlike previous studies focusing on …

Recent Advances In Sustainable Production Of Enriched Chicken Eggs: A Mini Review, Karim El-Sabrout, Ayman Abd El-Aziz
Jurnal Ilmu Ternak Universitas Padjadjaran
Enriched or “designer” chicken eggs have emerged as an important category of functional foods aimed at improving human nutrition through dietary manipulation of laying hens. This mini-review summarizes recent advances in egg enrichment strategies, focusing on omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant compounds. Omega-3 enrichment remains the most widely adopted approach, achieved through supplementation with flaxseed, fish oil, or microalgae, resulting in significant increases in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in egg yolk. Multi-nutrient enrichment, including selenium, vitamin E, and carotenoids, has also gained attention due to its potential in enhancing antioxidant capacity and health of hens …

The Arching Analysis Of Rigid Inclusion System Using Cohesive Fill For Load Transform Platform, Ramy Mohammed Mohammed Khalil, Amr F. Elhakim
HBRC Journal
Rigid Inclusion System (RIS) is one of the economic systems for improving highly compressible soil by increasing the bearing capacity of foundation soil and reducing settlements. This system consists of a load transform platform (LTP) with or without geosynthetic reinforcement (GR) membrane resting on an arrangement of piles. The LTP redistributes the fill embankment load so that a higher percentage of load is transferred to pile by arching that leads to a reduction in the settlement of the foundation soil. Many analytical, numerical and experimental studies to model arching within LTP using cohesionless fill are summarized. This paper presents an …

This research aims to study the effect of secondary treated wastewater (STWW) and tertiary treated wastewater (TTWW) in concrete mixing and curing as a complete alternative to fresh water to address the water crisis. The treated wastewater used in the study was collected from two wastewater treatment plants in Orasqualia for STWW and El Shorouk for TTWW, Egypt. Chemical analysis was performed on the collected water samples to verify their compliance with the recommendations of the relevant standards used in concrete production. Physical and mechanical tests were performed on cement paste, mortar and concrete specimens. Some durability characteristic of concrete …

Divergent Risk Prioritization And Safety Governance In Metro Construction Projects: Evidence From Cairo Metro Line 3, Shrouk M. El Gebaly, Khaled M. Dewidar, Taher M. Elsamni
HBRC Journal
Safety risk management remains a critical challenge in large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in complex urban metro systems where multiple stakeholders operate under different organizational mandates. While previous research has examined construction safety risks, limited studies have explored how project stakeholders prioritize these risks within the same project environment and how such differences influence safety governance. This study investigates stakeholder risk prioritization in metro construction through a qualitative case study of Cairo Metro Line 3 in Egypt. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with representatives from three key stakeholder groups: the client organization, consulting engineers, and construction contractors. The data were …
