The Influence Of Exercise On Cardiometabolic Risk In Perimenopause: A Systematic Review, Bibha Gautam, Deborah J. Clegg, Mary Madeline Rogge, Jeni Page
International Nursing Research Congress (INRC)
Purpose: Perimenopause is a biologically vulnerable period characterized by hormonal fluctuations, visceral fat accumulation, and increasing insulin resistance, factors that elevate cardiometabolic risk and contribute to the development of cardiometabolic syndrome (CMS), defined as the presence of three or more metabolic abnormalities. These changes reflect a continuum of metabolic vulnerability that may emerge before CMS becomes clinically detectable. Although regular exercise can mitigate this risk, limited evidence clarifies which exercise modalities are most effective in reducing metabolic risk and CMS prevalence among women undergoing the perimenopausal transition. Despite facing a distinct and often underrecognized vulnerability to CMS, perimenopausal women remain …

International Nursing Research Congress (INRC)
Background: Baccalaureate second-degree accelerated nursing (ABSN) programs have grown substantially as a response to needs for a qualified workforce. These programs are designed to prepare prelicensure nurses to enter the workforce in as little as 11 to 18 months. To maintain the rigor of traditional nursing programs, ABSN programs have demanding, compressed schedules. Recent literature has brought attention to the impact of academic demands on the emotional wellness experienced by traditional four-year prelicensure nursing students (Bernier-Carney, 2025; Vo et al., 2023) but has failed to review its impact in ABSN cohorts.
Aim: This qualitative descriptive research study aimed to describe …
Knowledge Spillovers, Related And Supporting Industries, And Government Intervention: An Integrated Framework For Cluster-Driven Corporate Innovation, Qinying Lei, Lai-Ying Leong, Annie Cheng San, Ng
Knowledge Spillovers, Related And Supporting Industries, And Government Intervention: An Integrated Framework For Cluster-Driven Corporate Innovation, Qinying Lei, Lai-Ying Leong, Annie Cheng San, Ng
International Journal of Management, Finance and Accounting
Late-developing inland clusters face a notable innovation paradox, in which substantial industrial capacity coexists with weak firm-level innovation. Existing research identifies knowledge spillovers, related and supporting industries, and government intervention as major external drivers of innovation, but pays limited attention to how these external conditions are transformed into corporate innovation capability. Drawing on Regional Innovation System Theory, Dynamic Capability Theory, and Porter’s Diamond Model, this study develops an integrated framework comprising seven propositions on direct effects, mediated pathways, and contextual variation. It proposes that cluster performance, defined as the effectiveness of cross-organisational coordination, mediates the relationship between external cluster conditions …

Debt Financing Cost And Green Innovation: The Conditioning Role Of Financing Dependence Structure In Chinese Manufacturing Firms, Hongzhuo Chen, Mohd Faizal Basri, Hazianti Abdul Halim
International Journal of Management, Finance and Accounting
Debt-financing costs are generally considered to be restrictive for corporate innovation; however, their role in green innovation may be conditional rather than uniformly negative. Based on a sample of A-share listed companies from 2012 to 2023, this study examines whether this cost is related to green patenting and, more importantly, how this relationship varies with firms’ financing dependence structure. Green innovation can be reflected in the scale of total green patent applications and the depth of green invention applications. Based on the estimates, both indicators are positively correlated with the cost of debt, and the impact is relatively stronger for …

Health promotion in tertiary music education lacks shared guidance despite rising concern for musicians’ well-being. This position paper addresses that gap with a consensus-based, evidence-informed framework developed by 122 contributors across six continents and a variety of disciplines, including musicians and student representatives. It advances a broad understanding of health—physical, psychological, social, cultural, and occupational—and positions health promotion as integral to musicking rather than an add-on. We offer seven adaptable recommendations for institutions: (1) Reframe musicianship through health-informed cultural transformation; (2) Transform institutional culture and governance; (3) Collaborate across disciplines and expertise; (4) Equip educators, leaders, and staff to promote …

Can Ai-Generated Music Interventions Improve Health Outcomes? A Systematic Review, Nguyen Thi Khanh, Huu-Thanh Nguyen, Vi Do Pham Nhat, Carmen Wing Han Chan
International Nursing Research Congress (INRC)
Music interventions are effective for physical, psychological, cognitive and social well-being [1-3]. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can generate personalised therapeutic music instantly, creating a novel, accessible intervention. However, the effectiveness of these AI-generated interventions has not been systematically reviewed [4, 5]. This systematic review aimed to evaluate the efficacy of AI-generated music interventions for improving health outcomes.
A systematic search was conducted across eight electronic databases (Cochrane, Medline, APA PsycINFO, PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital Library) from inception to September 2025. After screening, eight studies (N=1,267 participants) met the inclusion criteria, comprising four randomised controlled trials (RCTs) …
The New Economic Liberties, Daniel B. Rodriguez
The New Economic Liberties, Daniel B. Rodriguez
Northwestern University Law Review
Despite the lack of serious interrogation at the federal constitutional level of economic regulations, there continues to be a fairly robust, energetic attention at the level of state constitutional law to so-called economic liberties. In a number of key cases, including, for example, matters involving occupational licensing, state courts have looked to unique features of their respective state constitutions to assess whether and to what extent regulations undertaken under the police power go too far. The rationales for evaluating and, in some cases, invalidating regulations under economic liberties principles are creative, and also controversial. The development of new interpretive approaches …

Bahasa dan Seni: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, Seni, dan Pengajarannya
This article examines the relief painting practice of one low-vision artist at Yayasan Teratai Bali as the basis for an initial formulation of a tactile-oriented visual art creation method. It addresses a methodological gap in inclusive art education and disability art studies, where blind and low-vision individuals are often discussed as learners, participants, or audiences, while their own procedures for making artworks receive less attention. Using an instrumental case study with a descriptive-interpretive orientation, data were collected through repeated observation, informal conversational interviews, artwork and process documentation, close observation of textural details, and contextual workshop documentation. Recurring actions and statements …
Visual Aesthetic Structure In East Java Temple Reliefs: A Study Of Line, Plane, Proportion, And Rhythm, Marina Wardaya
Visual Aesthetic Structure In East Java Temple Reliefs: A Study Of Line, Plane, Proportion, And Rhythm, Marina Wardaya
Bahasa dan Seni: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, Seni, dan Pengajarannya
The temple reliefs of East Java constitute one of the main categories of the material tradition that reflects not only the aesthetic taste of Javanese culture, but also its spiritual viewpoint and the socio-cultural milieu that characterized early Javanese society. In addition to being abstract visual texts, these reliefs also embody and represent cultural identity and values. The proposed research will analyze the visual structure of temple reliefs using a visual language (Bahasa Rupa) approach and visual design theory by examining the four principal visual components (line, plane, proportion, and visual rhythm) that together form the formal structure of these …

Geduldig's Footnote: Five-Plus Decades Of State Courts Reckoning With Federal Pregnancy Discrimination Doctrine, Martha F. Davis
Northwestern University Law Review
In Geduldig v. Aiello (1974), the U.S. Supreme Court held that pregnancy discrimination does not constitute sex discrimination. The decision’s constitutional logic has recently been applied in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization and United States v. Skrmetti. Yet over five decades, state courts have overwhelmingly rejected Geduldig’s rationale—both in construing state employment discrimination statutes and in interpreting state constitutional equality provisions. Courts in at least sixteen states have rejected Geduldig’s rationale in construing state employment discrimination laws, while only four states have followed it. Of the ten states with Equal Rights Amendments that have addressed whether …

World models are being built twice, from opposite ends, without a shared theory of how the two halves should meet. One lineage grounds the world model in perception: a self-supervised, latent-predictive encoder – exemplified by Joint Embedding Predictive Architectures (JEPA) – that learns the structure of sensory experi-ence. A second, older lineage grounds the world model in cognition: an explicit, inspectable structure of entities, rules, and constraints, ranging from knowledge graphs to formal logic to physical law. Neither lineage alone has produced a world model that is simultane-ously adaptive and auditable. We argue this is not solved by picking a …
Integrating Evidence-Based Practice Into Post-Code Blue Debriefings To Enhance Clinical Practice And Staff Well-Being In The Micu - A Quality Improvement Project, Jeffrey Schall
Loma Linda University Electronic Theses, Dissertations & Projects
Introduction/Background:
Intensive care (ICU) nurses are routinely exposed to traumatic events, such as code blue resuscitations, which contribute to increased stress, burnout, and lower perceived quality of care. A gap analysis of MICU charge nurses and team leaders found that 87% reported that post-code debriefing did not occur and that 40% experienced emotional distress, indicating a need for a brief, structured, emotionally safe reflection process.
Methodology: Using a pre-post design, the CARE tool, adapted from the DISCERN and Post-Code Pause frameworks and validated by three institutional experts, was introduced into practice over six weeks. Nurse champions completed pre-surveys …

Non-State Actors And The Due Diligence Obligation To Protect Healthcare Facilities In Cyberspace: Is The World Prepared For The Next Pandemic?, Dr. Ardit Memeti
Pace International Law Review
This article presents a novel approach by developing a lex specialis due diligence framework based on the elements identified in the ICJ Advisory Opinion on Climate Change, which by analogy, establishes sector-specific elements to protect healthcare facilities from cyberattacks by Non-State Actors (NSAs).
