A116: Resistance Training Vs. Moderate-Intensity Continuous Training On Cognitive Function In Nafld Patients, Yineng Tan, Xueying He, Jianyu Gan, Dapeng Bao

International Journal of Physical Activity and Health

Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) is the most common chronic liver disease globally, with a prevalence of nearly 30%. It is closely related to cognitive dysfunction, which significantly impacts quality of life. Recent studies suggest that exercise therapy (aerobic/resistance training) can improve metabolic abnormalities in NAFLD, yet its effects on cognitive function remain controversial. Moderate-Intensity Continuous Training (MICT) may have advantages over Resistance Training (RT) in modulating lipid metabolism, though RT might be more feasible for specific groups. This study compares the effects of 6 weeks of MICT and RT on cognitive functions (verbal memory, visuospatial ability, executive function, and …

A122: Endurance Exercise Ameliorates Age-Related Cardiac Arrhythmias By Modulating Ank2 Expression In Aged Drosophila, Wenzhi Gu, Lan Zheng

International Journal of Physical Activity and Health

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) has been a leading cause of death globally, with a significant impact on healthy aging. Aging is significantly rising globally, and older adults are at increased risk of age-related arrhythmias, and the mechanisms underlying age-related arrhythmias remain unclear. In this study, we investigated the relationship between ANK2 and age-related arrhythmias in aged Drosophila and how endurance exercise modulates ANK2 expression on age-related arrhythmias. Method: Wild type w1118 female virgin flies were examined at 10 days of age (10C, young), 30 days of age (30C, middle-aged), and 50 days of age (50C, old) to assess age-related arrhythmias and …

International Journal of Physical Activity and Health

A reasonable full kinematic sequence enables the club to obtain maximum speed in impact, avoiding technical errors and reducing sports injuries. By comparing the kinematic sequences during the full swings of the driver and 7-iron of college male golfers, the kinematic characteristics of different clubs were analyzed in relation to the technical differences. Method: An infrared high-speed motion capture system (sampling frequency 250Hz, Qualisys, Sweden) was applied to capture the full-swing technical movements of 6 male golfers' driver and 7-iron five times each, with an interval of 30s. The Qualisys Sports Marker Set-golf model in the Qualisys system was used. …

Chronic ankle instability (CAI) is a prevalent condition characterized by postural instability, recurrent sprains, and maladaptive neuroplasticity in sensorimotor cortices. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of a 6-week intervention combining high-definition transcranial direct current stimulation (HD-tDCS) targeting the central nervous system regions (e.g., M1/S1 cortices) with Bosu ball training on balance in individuals with CAI. Forty participants with chronic ankle instability (CAI) were recruited and randomly assigned to HD-tDCS+Bosu (n=20) or Bosu (n=20) groups using a computer-generated sequence. The HD-tDCS+Bosu group received active HD-tDCS (2mA, 20min) combined with Bosu ball training, while the Bosu group received sham HD-tDCS …

Cospectrality Results For Signed Graphs With Two Eigenvalues Unequal To ±1, Willem H. Haemers, Hati̇ce Topcu Jan 2026

Cospectrality Results For Signed Graphs With Two Eigenvalues Unequal To ±1, Willem H. Haemers, Hati̇ce Topcu

Turkish Journal of Mathematics

Recently the collection G of all signed graphs for which the adjacency matrix has all but at most two eigenvalues equal to ±1 has been determined. Here we investigate G for cospectral pairs, and for signed graphs determined by their spectrum (up to switching). If the order is at most 20, the outcome is presented in a clear table. If the spectrum is symmetric we find all signed graphs in G determined by their spectrum, and we obtain all signed graphs cospectral with the bipartite double of the complete graph. In addition we determine all signed graphs cospectral with the …
