The Two Fridas: How The Use Of Semiotics Reflects The Social History Of Mexico In Frida Kahlo’S Work, Raquel Maria Botteon Martins Nov 2026

The Two Fridas: How The Use Of Semiotics Reflects The Social History Of Mexico In Frida Kahlo’S Work, Raquel Maria Botteon Martins

SPARK Symposium Presentations

Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera are often credited as having played a crucial role in establishing a Mexican avant-garde. According to the Denver Art Museum’s statement for the exhibition Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, and Mexican Modernism, their body of work often incorporated portrayals of mexicanidad, an identity born of Mexico’s ancient cultures and its colonial past that projected a visionary future. The use of mexicanidad imagery started with the efforts to create a new national art, following the Mexican revolution, when the country used public and socially effective art to communicate new ideals of identity.  Through the analysis of …

Peakon Solutions And Analytical Properties For The Camassa–Holm-Type Equations With Quadratic Nonlinearities, Yonghong Chen, Zhijun Qiao, Mingxuan Zhu Nov 2026

Peakon Solutions And Analytical Properties For The Camassa–Holm-Type Equations With Quadratic Nonlinearities, Yonghong Chen, Zhijun Qiao, Mingxuan Zhu

School of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences Faculty Publications

In this paper, we derive the multi-peakon dynamical system of a class of Camassa-Holm-type equations with quadratic nonlinearities. We also consider the analytical properties for the Cauchy problem. Firstly, we establish local well-posedness of solutions in Besov spaces and then provide the blow-up criteria. Subsequently, we impose appropriate sufficient conditions on the initial data to guarantee that the corresponding solution either exists globally or blows up in a finite time. Finally, we prove the ill-posedness in the Besov space B2,∞3/2 by utilizing the non-traveling wave solutions.

Optimising Cybersecurity Application Utilisation For Digital Learning In Nigeria: An Evidence-Constrained Hybrid Agent-Based And System-Dynamics Model, Adesegun Nurudeen Osijirin, Leonard C. Anigbo, Oliver Okechukwu Nov 2026

Optimising Cybersecurity Application Utilisation For Digital Learning In Nigeria: An Evidence-Constrained Hybrid Agent-Based And System-Dynamics Model, Adesegun Nurudeen Osijirin, Leonard C. Anigbo, Oliver Okechukwu

Journal of Cybersecurity Education, Research and Practice

This study examines hypothetical cybersecurity-application utilisation interventions for Computer Science undergraduates in Enugu State, Nigeria. Five author-supplied datasets, each containing 364 cases, provide audited sex-specific calibration moments for a hybrid agent-based and system-dynamics model. Seven portfolios are compared over 24 months using 400 paired replications; additional experiments examine dose, effect assumptions, targeting, academic calendars, turnover and peer structure. A 1,200-point Latin-hypercube design is applied to every original scenario. Across 37,600 runs, the main-model median proportions meeting the survey utilisation criterion are 26.4%, 48.6% and 50.3% for status quo, universal combined and equity-adaptive provision. However, matching nominal dose reduces the corresponding …

System And Method For Proactive Schema Cache Warming Triggered By Failure-Cooldown Expiry During Low-Load Periods In A Real-Time Inference System, Ruiyang Xia, Hao Qin Nov 2026

System And Method For Proactive Schema Cache Warming Triggered By Failure-Cooldown Expiry During Low-Load Periods In A Real-Time Inference System, Ruiyang Xia, Hao Qin

Defensive Publications Series

The present disclosure relates to a system and method for proactive schema cache warming triggered by failure-cooldown expiry during low-load periods in a real-time inference system.

The method comprises maintaining a cooldown tracker recording failed schema-fetch attempts and corresponding expiry timestamps. Upon expiry of a cooldown associated with a schema identifier, an internal warming event is generated instead of passively clearing the cooldown state. Proactive schema fetching is scheduled during periods of low inference load, with fetch operations prioritized based on historical request frequency. Upon successful retrieval, the schema is cached to enable immediate cache access for subsequent inference requests. …

Bitmap-Compressed Per-Attachment-Circuit Liveness Signaling For Evpn-Vpws Flexible Cross-Connect, Anonymous Nov 2026

Bitmap-Compressed Per-Attachment-Circuit Liveness Signaling For Evpn-Vpws Flexible Cross-Connect, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

EVPN-VPWS flexible cross-connect (FXC) multiplexes many attachment circuits onto one shared tunnel. In default mode gives no per-circuit failure signaling: traffic for a failed circuit crosses the core before being dropped; In VLAN-signaled mode restores visibility only by advertising one route per circuit. This disclosure adds a compact liveness bitmap to the single Ethernet auto-discovery route that default FXC already advertises. Each bit position is the normalized VLAN identifier FXC already assigns to each circuit, so no new index is needed. The bitmap rides in a new optional, transitive, variable-length BGP path attribute with version, segment index, sequence number, and …

Spec-364: The Unified Integration Matrix For Sub-Kelvin Phononic Shielding, Trinary Moire Soliton Logic, And Clock-Less Time-Domain Enos Architectures, Christopher L. Eckes Nov 2026

Spec-364: The Unified Integration Matrix For Sub-Kelvin Phononic Shielding, Trinary Moire Soliton Logic, And Clock-Less Time-Domain Enos Architectures, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

This white paper delivers the definitive first-principles mathematical and structural integration of the low-level physical substrate, logic transport, and execution layers comprising the ENOS computing environment. We eliminate the systemic bottlenecks of modern silicon architectures—specifically quantum tunneling leakage, parasitic control-line thermal loads, and clock-cycle latency overhead—by synchronizing three fundamental systems: (1) cryo-thermal phonon shielding via anisotropic anthracene crystal host tracking, (2) non-linear optical wave-packet trapping inside twisted moire superlattice lattices, and (3) asynchronous time-domain instruction register streaming. The compiled equations, ASCII architectural schematics, and native Python validation testbeds presented herein establish a provable, zero-entropy roadmap for macroscopic hardware scaling operating …

Core Specification Spec-363: The Enos Sovereign Right Invariant And Localized Cryptographic Sanctuary Protocol For Individual Autonomy In Non-Compliant Human Rights Regimes, Christopher L. Eckes Nov 2026

Core Specification Spec-363: The Enos Sovereign Right Invariant And Localized Cryptographic Sanctuary Protocol For Individual Autonomy In Non-Compliant Human Rights Regimes, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

This specification details the structural, mathematical, and cryptographic design for the ENOS Sovereign Right Invariant (SRI). Current geopolitical computing networks operate on the assumption that digital rights, identity parameters, and data privacy are granted, managed, and monitored by nation-states. In regimes that completely lack fundamental human rights, this architecture allows centralized governments to weaponize computing infrastructure to enforce local surveillance, execute programmatic censorship, and suppress individual human autonomy.

SPEC-363 breaks this geopolitical chokehold by establishing an ironclad, local cryptographic sanctuary directly at the molecular hardware layer. Running under the clockless ENOS operating substrate [SPEC-358] on a decentralized rEckesbit Moiré Array …

Core Specification Spec-362: The Ethical And Moral Framework Of Sovereign Stewardship And Voluntary Open-Ledger Collaboration For Type 1 Civilizational Alignment, Christopher L. Eckes Nov 2026

Core Specification Spec-362: The Ethical And Moral Framework Of Sovereign Stewardship And Voluntary Open-Ledger Collaboration For Type 1 Civilizational Alignment, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

This specification details the foundational philosophical, moral, and ethical principles required to govern macro-scale human technological development. As computing, material science, and automation architectures approach the planetary scaling limits of a Type 1 civilization, traditional socioeconomic models based on extractive consolidation, zero-sum corporate competition, and the systematic erosion of individual property sovereignty become severe systemic risks that threaten collective survival.

SPEC-362 neutralizes these civilizational bottlenecks by introducing the paradigm of Sovereign Stewardship. True stewardship does not dictate the random, non-causal dissipation of personal or technical assets. Instead, it mandates the structured, high-integrity deployment of resource networks through Voluntary Open-Ledger Collaboration. …
