Commission For Catholic Missions Among The Colored People And The Indians, January-September, 1974, John B. Tennelly, Bureau Of Catholic Indian Missions
Reverend John B. Tennelly
The Bureau of Catholic Indian Missions (BCIM) was created in 1874 as the Office of the Commissioner for Catholic Indian Missions to protect, promote, and administer the Native American mission interests of the Catholic Church in the United States. Records in this group are organized by record group and then state or territory and year. Collection organization varies very little throughout the collection, however, prior to 1921, general correspondence was organized by location. Starting with Director Hughes, general correspondence was placed as its own subgroup within the collection and is organized alphabetically. Please go to Ask An Archivist if you …

United States Department of Defense Military Intelligence
This manual reflects the lessons learned about technical intelligence during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. The manual explains the theory of Army technical intelligence and describes strategic technical intelligence organizations in the United States.
Much of the manual explains technical intelligence activities of US forces in the field. It explains technical intelligence planning and collection activities. The need to label and handle captured equipment properly is stressed.
Appendices list references and technical intelligence categories, provide a sample technical intelligence plan, and explain handling and reporting of captured materiel and the standard nomenclature system for identifying Soviet bloc weapons and …
Another Anniversary, Edward May
Another Anniversary, Edward May
Concordia Theological Monthly
It will be another 73 years before it will be possible to write about 125 years of medical mission work in The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Mother Synod, like Elizabeth, conceived this child in her old age, years after her sisters (if I may be so bold) in the faith had given birth to their medical mission work. The older hospitals in foreign lands were started by Roman Catholics, Presbyterians, Anglicans, Baptists, Methodists, and "other Lutherans." Missouri is a late comer, and after 52 years, her child still does not have much to show and tell.

The Voice: 1971-1980
In this edition of the Voice, an article discusses Wooster’s Mock Democratic Convention, in which students will choose their Presidential Candidate. State Representative John E. Johnson is secured as Chairmen in for said event. Art by English printmaker, Michael Rothenstein, displayed in Frick Art Center. Additionally, a “Know Your Candidates” section details the political platforms, on specific issues, of the 1972 presidential candidates. The final two pages have the athletic updates for the past week.
