This study asserts that the traditional professional values underpinning journalism are becoming increasingly ambiguous, while established normative frameworks have diminished in their descriptive influence. Drawing on Hanitzsch’s (2011) typology of journalistic cultures, the research analyzes responses from a structured survey of 46 media professionals. Spoken Language Transfer From Albanian Into English And Lexical Anglicisms Used In Albanian Among 8th Grade Students At “Emin Duraku” Lower Secondary School In Prishtina - A Case Study, Bekim Emini

This case study explores spoken language transfer and anglicisms used among 8thgrade lower secondary students at ‘Emin Duraku’ school in Prishtina. Using a 14-item selfdeveloped questionnaire, this study examined grammatical, semantical and lexical-level language transfer from Albanian into English and the use of common anglicisms. Six students took part in the study by orally rendering words, phrases and sentences and by identifying anglicisms. Study results revealed some negative language transfer in oral translations. Food, sports and technology anglicisms were used correctly; some students’ responses were target-like, especially general and specific-field anglicisms used in Albanian.

This paper examines how leadership and organizational culture jointly stimulate innovation and promote business sustainability, focusing on enterprises in Kosovo. Adopting a qualitative methodology, data were gathered from twelve firms across diverse sectors through open-ended questionnaires and analyzed thematically. The study identifies three dominant dimensions: leadership-driven innovation for efficiency and transformation, culture-based creativity and learning, and innovation as a collective pathway to sustainable growth. Findings demonstrate that transformational and inclusive leadership encourages experimentation, collaboration, and psychological safety, while innovation-oriented cultures reinforce adaptability and resilience. This study examines the role of media in health education and disease prevention through a combined approach of literature review and empirical analysis. The survey was conducted through a structured questionnaire administered to a representative sample of 160 people. The data showed that 91.7% consider media an influential factor in shaping their health behaviors, while 85% reported making significant health-related decisions—such as visiting a doctor or changing dietary habits—based on information obtained from media sources. Dimensional Stability And Hydric Behavior Of Lime-Slag Stabilized Compressed Earth Blocks, Ines Bouteldja, Khaled Grine, Said Kenai

This study investigates the dimensional behavior of compressed earth blocks stabilized with 4% lime and varying amounts of ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS). Four formulations containing 0, 4, 8, and 12% slag were tested to evaluate linear shrinkage, swelling, and capillary absorption. The results show that increasing slag content leads to a consistent reduction in both shrinkage and swelling, indicating improved dimensional stability. For the mixture containing 12% slag, shrinkage and swelling decreased by about 27% compared to the reference, while capillary absorption dropped by nearly 70%. Water is vital to concrete, and it has a dual role. This paper will examine the impact of the quantity (water/cement ratio - W/C) and water quality on concrete. W/C directly affects workability, mechanical strength, porosity, and durability. A low W/C gives stronger concrete but with difficult workability; a high W/C improves workability but weakens mechanical properties and durability. Water quality is also critical; impurities such as chlorides, sulfates, and organic substances can negatively affect cement bonding and strength, cause corrosion of reinforcement, and degradation. This study examines the relationship between self-efficacy and academic performance in students, analyzing differences according to socio-demographic factors such as gender and residence. Participants (N = 115) of this study are students from different university programs in Kosovo. A quantitative method was used, with two instruments: the General SelfEfficacy Scale (GSE) and the Academic Performance Scale. The results show a positive and significant correlation between self-efficacy and academic performance. Furthermore, based on the results, males have higher self-efficacy, while students from rural areas have shown higher levels in both variables. This study analyzes the music video “Tell Your Papa” (2025), a politically charged protest song by Nigerian artiste Eedris Abdulkareem, as an exemplary case of aesthetics of confrontation, here conceptualized as a multimodal strategy in which direct address, anti-spectacle visual style, literalism, and discomfort converge to confront political power.
