Rejection Of Fe (Iron) And Kmno4 (Organic Substance) Parameters In Peat Water Using Organic Membranes, Muhamad Rafli Sakti Mulia Gonera, Siti Umi Kalsum, Sarah Fiebrina Heraningsih
Journal of Materials Exploration and Findings
Peat water is a surface water source widely used by people in swampy and lowland areas, but it has poor quality characteristics such as high organic matter content, low pH, and dissolved metal levels such as iron that exceed the threshold. These conditions can cause health problems and reduce the quality of clean water so that effective treatment technology is needed. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of ultrafiltration membranes made from chitosan from shrimp shell waste in rejecting iron (Fe) and organic substances in peat water, and to determine the effect of pressure on separation performance. This study …

The unsteady flow of a tangential hyperbolic fluid with temperature in the presence of a sublimation medium and an exponential surface was discussed in this article. The law of conservation of mass, energy, and momentum is essential to the model of matter. To make it easier to identify solutions, the partial equations were converted into ordinary equations. We refer to this approach as the homotopic method. To explain the results, the Mathematica program was used to find the solutions and graphically depict them. The impact of the parameters on velocity, temperature was discussed, which are Random motion factor (Nb …

Synergistic Photodetectors Based On Sno2/Si With Cnts Via Vacuum Thermal Evaporation, Sozan A. Hassan, Walla M. Mohammd, Mohanad Q. Kareem, Kawkab D. Salim
Baghdad Science Journal
This study presents a precision-engineered carbon nanotube (CNT)-doped SnO2/Si heterojunction photodetector, wherein interfacial physics governs performance beyond individual material capabilities. Stepwise CNT loadings (0, 0.03, and 0.07 wt.%) were deposited by vacuum thermal evaporation to systematically reconstruct the crystallographic, morphological and band-alignment landscape. A-sure X-ray diffraction demonstrates that the rutile phase remains, and atomic force microscopy and scanning electron microscopy confirm grain passivation at the nanoscale. High sub-bandgap light sensitivity can be achieved, benefiting from the built-in field-assisted carrier separation at the SnO2/Si interface, whereby the redshifted absorption edge is indicative of intentional bandgap engineering. CNT …

Purpose: SMARCB1-deficient renal medullary carcinoma (RMC) is an ultra-rare, lethal malignancy refractory to therapies approved for other renal cell carcinomas, and its rarity makes randomized trials logistically unfeasible. We investigated whether wild-type epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a therapeutically actionable dependency in RMC and translated this insight into a deployable clinical regimen.
Experimental design: EGFR expression was assessed by CLIA-certified immunohistochemistry in RMC tumors and by integrated RNA- and chromatin immunoprecipitation-sequencing of primary tumors and adjacent kidney. Panitumumab was compared with erlotinib in patient- and cell line-derived xenografts, and its mechanism defined by immunoblotting, confocal colocalization, cell-cycle and apoptosis …

The Multi-Agent Ai System For Automated Media Ingestion And Metadata Enrichment, Shravan Nayak
Defensive Publications Series
The process of ingesting and cataloging large volumes of digital media can be inefficient and difficult to scale, often relying on manual workflows that may be slow and error-prone. A multi-agent artificial intelligence framework may be used for automated media content ingestion and metadata enrichment. Such a system can comprise a central orchestrator agent that analyzes incoming media and delegates processing tasks to multiple specialist agents that operate in parallel. A confidence-based routing mechanism can assign a score to generated metadata, where high-confidence results may be automatically committed and low-confidence results can be directed to a human-in-the-loop review process. This …

Co-Dominion: The Changing Nature Of The Adamic Covenant In An Age Of Artificial Intelligence, Corey Hastings
Masters Theses
Theologians and religious bodies attest to the rising influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in governments, the economy, and the lives of the people of God. Through the covenant with Adam, God gave humans the blessing of dominion and capabilities unique to creation to till the earth. Today, humans retain the image of God but AI increasingly displaces human functions with coordinated agency. Using Hebrew language exegesis of passages from Genesis, Exodus, and Leviticus, this study compares capabilities gifted to humans with the scope of current and near future AI models. It incorporates direct artifact analysis of a large-language model as …

Normative Dualism And Parallel Institution-Building: The Case Of International Commercial Dispute Prevention And Settlement Organization (Icdpaso), Kun Fan, Xiaolei Han
International Law Journal
As China rises as a global power, it confronts an international legal order historically shaped by Western actors. In response, China has adopted a dual strategy: engaging with existing institutions while building “parallel institutions” to advance its influence. This paper examines the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) as a case study of this strategy and analyzes how China seeks to reshape international dispute resolution. Drawing on original empirical data—including 85 interviews with arbitrators, users, officials, and legal experts—this paper provides the first comprehensive analysis of ICDPASO’s strategic motivations, governance model, dispute resolution mechanisms, and user perceptions.
