Notaris sebagai pejabat publik, apabila ia dijatuhi hukuman pidana, maka ia dapat dikenakan sanski pemberhentian dengan tidak hormat seperti yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang Jabatan Notaris. Ketentuan untuk sanksi pemberhentian dengan tidak hormat bagi notaris telah ada, namun dirasa tidak cukup jelas. Permasalahan yang menjadi bahasan adalah a. substansi tindak pidana yang diklasifikasikan dengan sanksi pemberhentian tidak hormat dan b. upaya hukum bagi notaris yang dijatuhi sanksi pemberhentian dengan tidak hormat karena dipidana dengan ancaman dibawah lima tahun. Dalam Putusan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 2665 K/Pdt/2019, para ahli waris dari perkawinan pertama pewaris melakukan gugatan pembatalan hibah wasiat. Supreme Court Jurisprudence And School Shooting Threats: A Legal Review, Benjamin P. Comer

Journal of Criminal Justice and Law

This legal review provides a general synopsis of selected school shooting threat cases processed in U.S. Federal courts and specifically emphasizes the interpretive mechanisms employed by judges during the adjudicatory process. Approximately 29 federal cases involving school shooting threats are reviewed, and six different legal tests and rules commonly used by federal courts are discussed in detail. Among other findings, descriptive statistics reveal that a majority of courts employed the Tinker rule when analyzing threats (72.4%) and that the majority of cases involved the application of a single test (72%). Background: This qualitative exploratory study explores smokers’ perspectives regarding smoking cessation processes amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: Purposive sampling was employed to conduct semi-structured interviews with cigarette smokers visiting cardiac and pulmonary clinics at a tertiary care hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. Thematic analysis was performed to identify themes from the participants’ responses.
Results: Three themes emerged from the thematic analysis. These were smoking cessation facilitators, smoking cessation barriers, and COVID-19 impacts on smoking cessation. This paper aims to investigate the customer experience and post purchase behavior in the mobile application environment. This study is experimental with a quantitative approach. Two hypothetical mobile apps were developed; social-focused and information-focused. Data was collected by surveying 400 online shoppers and, analyzed by employing SEM and multi-group analysis techniques using Amos. Results suggest that a mobile app that is socially focused enhances the customer experience and customer engagement behavior respectively. This paper aims to examine the effect of the fraud hexagon on fraudulent financial statements (FFS), and the audit committee (AC)'s role in moderating this relation. The research model uses logit regression with data on all non-financial companies in Indonesia ranging from 2016 to 2020, which were obtained from annual reports and Thomson Reuters. The sensitivity test uses a coefficient difference test based on the Overall Manipulation Index. This study shows that the probability of FFS is higher when the manager has the stimulus, opportunity, and capability. The emergence of SARS-CoV-2 mutants, waning immunity, and breakthrough infections prompted the use of booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to fight against the pandemic. India started booster doses in January 2022 and it is critical to determine the intention of booster dose uptake and its correlates. Therefore, the current cross-sectional study aimed to investigate booster dose acceptability and associated predictors among the Indian population. The purpose of the study is to examine the effects of Covid-19 risk perceptions on international tourists' travel intentions to Tanzania. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire administered to 114 international tourists; and was analysed using Structural Equation Modelling through Smart PLS 3.0. The findings reveals that perceived behavioural control and subjective norms have a significant positive influence on the travel intention whereas the Perceived risk has no influence on travel intention. The Advanced L-band Phased Array Camera (ALPACA) is a wide-field astronomical receiver that will be housed on the Green Bank Telescope (GBT). This instrument features a fully cryogenic 69-element phased array feed (PAF) front end and digital beamformer back end. It will provide a wide and continuous field of view at L-band and high sensitivity with a system noise temperature below 27 K.
