The Effect Of Using Google Docs On The Students' Skill In Writing Expository Essay Across Personality Learning Style, Bagio Tjahjadi, Sintha Tresnadewi, Bambang Yudi Cahyono

This research is aimed at (1) finding out whether the EFL students taught using Google docs show better writing ability than those taught without using Google docs, (2) discovering if there is a significant difference in writing ability between the introverted students and extroverted students taught using Google docs. The results showed that the mean score of experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group. When it comes to personality learning styles, there was no significant difference in the mean scores obtained by the extroverted students and introverted students.

This study is intended to investigate the communication using IRF sequence, issues occurred during teaching-process, and critical thinking in Basic Analysis of Poetry class. The result indicates that the faculty member used questions to build ELT students' critical thinking and ELT students believe that by reading a lot of poems will help them to develop their critical thinking. In conclusion IRF sequence with certain modification will help the faculty member to communicate with the students.

Language learning strategies (LLSs) play an essential role in the process of English language learning. This study is aimed at investigating language-learning strategies employed by successful Indonesian EFL high school students. This study is of significance to provide a model of strategies practiced by successful EFL students who manage to develop good command of English regardless certain limitations and challenges they face. The results of this study show the students actively employ a combination of affective and cognitive-social learning strategies to develop their English skills.

ReadyRead is an Android-based application which provides several features for scaffolding reading comprehension practice. It is the product of Design-Based Research. The present study examined high school students’ experience in using the application. An online questionnaire was employed to gather information on students’ opinions regarding the content, learning activities, and usability of the app. Results of the data analysis revealed the most favorable feature in the app perceived to be the most helpful for students in learning reading independently. Di Indonesia, vaksinasi terhadap COVID-19 telah menjadi syarat bagi lembaga pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan kemauan untuk menerima vaksinasi COVID-19 di kalangan siswa MAS Ulmul Quran di Banda Aceh. Studi menyimpulkan bahwa tidak ada korelasi signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kemauan menerima vaksinasi.

This study explores illocutionary acts and politeness strategies employed by the academic staff and also the students' perceptions on the academic staff 's language and politeness strategies in EFL classroom interaction. Twelve different classes of six English academic staff in one term lasting 100 minutes each were observed and recorded and then transcribed. The results showed that four out of five types of illocutionary acts were employed; directive, representative, commisive, and expressive. This research used a descriptive apporoach using with analysis strategi of Gadamerian hermeneutic. Teaching practicum is one of the most fundamental and crucial stages in the teacher preparation program. The pre-service teacher readiness can be developed to become a qualified future teacher. This descriptive qualitative study is aimed to find the challenges and expectations of pre-service English teachers, mentor teachers, university supervisor, and the head of the teaching practice program. The findings indicated that pre-service teachers are challenged to improve their classroom management, strategies, and methods of teaching. The pre-service teachers, mentor teachers, and university supervisor are expected to gain benefits and successful school-university partnership.

This study aimed to explore the profiles of Self-Efficacy (SE) and Self-Directed Learning (SDL) among students at Universitas Riau, providing insights into their potential for academic and non-academic achievement. The findings indicate that 31% of the outstanding students were male, while 69% were female. The average SE scores were 4.36 for male students and 4.31 for female students, while the SDL scores were 4.20 for males and 4.18 for females. Sex trafficking affects an estimated 300,000 American children per year with a child sold every two minutes. Child sex trafficking is broadly defined as the exchange of something of value for sexual relations with a child/minor. The commercial sexual exploitation of children and domestic minor sex trafficking occur across the United States and violates the rights and health of many youth and other vulnerable and/or marginalized groups. Both familial traffickers and nonfamilial traffickers manipulate and control their victims with similar strategies. Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee is a nonprofit organization that provides psychosocial support to individuals and families impacted by cancer. This project aimed to address educational and psychosocial needs through two targeted initiatives grounded in health promotion, client-centered care, and community engagement. The first initiative focused on improving awareness of pelvic floor health in men affected by cancer. An accessible educational handout was developed to increase understanding of pelvic floor anatomy, common symptoms, toileting norms, and available resources, including pelvic floor therapy.
