International Journal of Thin Film Science and Technology
Undoped and silver (Ag) doped Cu2O (Cu2-xAgxO; x= 2.5, 5.0, 7.5 and 10.0 mol. %) thin films were deposited onto glass substrate using modified successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (M-SILAR) technique. The Ag doping level causes significant influence on the properties of the system prepared. The results indicated that 10.0 mol.% Ag doping causes major property improvements. The deposited films were characterized by their structural, morphological, surface smoothness, optical and gas sensitivity. The X-ray diffraction analysis shows the polycrystalline growth of Cu2-xAgxO films. The substitution by Ag2+ ions result in cubic structure (111) preferential orientation. The transmittance and optical …

How Technology Affordances Of Sharing Economy Platforms Influence Cultural Distance And The Affective Commitment Of Immigrants At The Base Of The Pyramid, Jie Yan, Saman Bina, Yasamin Hadavi, Robin Wakefield
Hunt Institute Working Paper Series
Within the immigrant population, there is a sub-group at the Base of the Pyramid (BoP). Compared to others, BoP immigrants receive lower incomes, have weaker informal networks, and face greater resource constraints. As more and more BoP immigrants participate in the sharing economy, we suggest that the use of sharing economy platforms by BoP immigrants would have a significant impact on their integration into a new country because it would influence cultural distance and affective commitment in multiple ways. Hence, in the present study, we seek to explore the relationships among the technology affordance of sharing economy platforms, the cultural …

Hydromagnetic Stability Of A Self-Gravitating Oscillating Fluid Cylinder, S. S. Elazab, A. A. Hasan, Z. M. Ismail, G. H. Zidan
Information Sciences Letters
The hydro-magnetic stability of a self-gravitating oscillating medium with streams of variable velocities for fluid cylinder has been defined and investigated. The streaming is unstable, but the magnetic field has a significant stabilizing effect. Under certain conditions, the rotating forces have a stabilizing effect. Using suitable and specific conditionsto distinguish between stable and unstable domains, the stability criterion is derived and investigated numerically and analytically. The effects of inertial self-gravity, and electromagnetic forces on the stability of a fluid cylinder are studied. All basic functions and equations have been solved after defining the problem.

The problem is solved and all individual solutions are excluded. The model stabilizes as a result of continuous Electric field stability in all perturbation modes. In a narrow area of the axisymmetric perturbation. It has been established that self-gravitating and capillary forces have a destabilizing effect. However, the present model instability is improved and modified by self-gravitating …

n this paper, we delve into a groundbreaking methodology that evaluates the sustainable development of territories through a geometric approach. We exp lore novel approaches to assess sustainable development by constructing geometric figures that represent economic, social, and environmental levels of development. This innovative approach enables the evaluation of the balance between these spheres by determining the areas of the inscribed figures and examining their ratios. Through this geometric framework, a comprehensive understanding of the sustainable development landscape can be obtained.

On Construction Of Tri-Concept Lattices, S. El-Assar, A. Badawy, I. Gad, S. Emad
Information Sciences Letters
The main point is to define the structure of a Tri-Concept lattice to deal with data given by different sources and represent it by less complex structures without loosing knowledge. We suggest the algorithm TRI-NEST to form the nested diagrams corresponding to the Tri-Concept lattices. Adding the ICE-T algorithm enables us to generate all frequently closed concepts, which leads to simplifying the Tri-Concept lattices and using the Iceberg Concept lattices as a reduction method to the big data while preserving all information.

Through two assets of the European call option into the form of a time-fractional order Caputo derivative, we have addressed the time-fractional Black-Scholes equations in the current paper. The homotopy analysis fractional Sumudu transform technique has been used to acquire the analytical solution through the convergence of the series solution. The approach combines the Sumudu transform and homotopy analysis approaches. Several graphs at specific and varying parameter values display the solution analysis and variations.
