This study presents a comprehensive mission analysis and control framework for reusable launch vehicles (RLVs) employing retropropulsion-assisted vertical takeoff and landing (VTVL) configurations. The focus is on a two-stage RLV optimized for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) missions, with the first stage designed for reusability. Inspired by proven systems such as SpaceX's Falcon 9 and DLR's RETALT-2, the vehicle incorporates a nine-engine cluster and retropropulsion for booster recovery. The study describes the synthesis and characterization of Cerium Vanadate-Strontium Oxide (CeVO4-SrO) nanocomposite. It emphasizes the importance of nanoparticles in various scientific applications, especially energy storage. The study used a hydrothermal approach with particular precursor components to synthesize the nanocomposite. The resultant materials are examined using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to evaluate their crystallite sizes and structural characteristics. The study found that SrO has an irregular rough shape, CeVO4 appears spherical, and the composites have a nanorod-like structure. This study investigates how individual factors—namely emotional intelligence, external locus of control, risk aversion, and financial literacy—affect the intention to invest in risky financial instruments in Indonesia. The research explores both the direct and indirect effects of these factors on risky investment intentions. Data were collected from 507 respondents through an online questionnaire. The findings indicate that emotional intelligence, external locus of control, and financial literacy positively influence the intention to invest in risky assets, while risk aversion has a negative effect. Seagrasses are a valuable component of global blue carbon ecosystems yet are also endangered due to natural and man-made pressures. This study assessed the seagrass resources regarding species community structure and diversity using a transect-quadrat design along the intertidal coastlines of selected towns of Surigao del Sur. Of the 19 recorded species in the Philippines, seven common species were observed: Cymodocea rotundata, Enhalus acoroides, Halodule pinifolia, Halodule uninervis, Thalassia hemprichii, Syringodium isoetifolium, and Halophila ovalis. The current paper analyzes the steric sea level (SSL) variability over the Red Sea (RS) and linked it with climate modes namely, North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) and East Atlantic West Russian (EAWR) patterns using a reanalysis dataset. Long-term (1993--2015) profile temperature and salinity data acquired from Simple Ocean Data Assimilation (SODA) was used to compute the SSL. The results show that the SSL is out of phase comparing to the total sea level, which may reduce fluctuations of water level within the sea. Efficient berth allocation remains a critical challenge in Red Sea port operations, particularly given the diverse operational capabilities across the region's ports. The research utilized historical operational data from 147,892 berth allocation instances across these ports spanning 2019--2023. A deep learning model was developed using four dense layers with ReLU activation functions, incorporating vessel characteristics, weather patterns, and operational constraints. The model's performance was validated through comparison with traditional allocation methods using real-time port operation data. This study examines the coastal geomorphology of the Ar Rāyis coastal zone on the eastern Red Sea coastal plain, along with the processes underpinning this geomorphology. Coastal areas feature various landforms, including beaches, intertidal flats, khawrs (lagoons), sand spits, sand dunes, sabkhas (salt marshes), coral reefs, wadis, raised coral reef terraces, and alluvial terraces. This study, conducted within a Philippine educational setting, assessed gender language sensitivity among education students. Completing two tests, the gender-neutral pronoun usage test and the gender-sensitive language test, 255 randomly selected first- and second-year students participated. Additional qualitative data was gathered through a focus group discussion. Statistical analysis using analysis of variance and Z-tests revealed no significant differences in the use of gender-neutral pronouns based on year level, program, gender identity, and preferred pronouns. However, a significant difference was observed in using gender-sensitive language based on year level and preferred pronouns. This article discusses the automation of the methanol-acetone mixture absorption process to improve control efficiency. The existing local automatic control system (ACS) was upgraded to a cascade system, reducing component concentration deviations by 12% and decreasing the transition process time from 1606 to 1592 seconds. A mathematical model of the gas absorption process was developed, incorporating material balance equations, mass transfer equations, and transfer functions. Predicting protein–ligand binding affinity is a fundamental challenge in computational biology and drug discovery, complicated by diverse factors including protein sequence variability, ligand chemical diversity, and structural resolution. Here, we present an integrative study that combines classical machine learning and quantum-enhanced modeling to investigate how crystal structure resolution, sequence similarity, and ligand properties jointly influence binding affinity. Using a curated “refined” dataset from PDBbind and an expanded general dataset, we first conduct correlation and regression analyses to quantify the relationships among binding affinity, ligand descriptors (e.g., molecular weight, logP), and protein structural metrics (resolution, R-factor). This study aimed to investigate the vital role and impact of technical audits in promoting sustainable infrastructure development in Tanzania. The role and effects of technical audits in long-term infrastructure development were studied using a mixed-methods approach with both quantitative and qualitative parts. Data were collected through analysis of technical audit documentation, a semi-structured questionnaire, and stakeholder interviews.
