Lightweight End-To-End Cryptographic Framework With Semantic Qos For Ar-Based Telesurgery, Pavan Kumar Satram
Lightweight End-To-End Cryptographic Framework With Semantic Qos For Ar-Based Telesurgery, Pavan Kumar Satram
Masters Theses
This thesis presents the design, implementation, and evaluation of a lightweight end-to-end cryptographic framework integrated with a semantic quality-of-service classification system for augmented reality based telesurgery. Telesurgery can deliver expert surgical care to underserved populations, but adoption has been limited by unresolved cybersecurity, network performance, and resilience challenges. The core tension is that strong encryption adds latency that may exceed the clinical safety threshold, while unencrypted systems remain vulnerable to attacks that could endanger patients during live procedures.
The framework addresses this tension through a dual-edge security middlebox that performs per-flow encryption using semantically selected ciphers: AES-128-GCM for latency-critical haptic …

Baghdad Science Journal
Bacterial infections, especially those caused by Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, still pose a significant challenge for biomedical applications, such as the management of wound and bone infections. This investigation aimed to prepare and characterize hydroxyapatite–alginate (HAp/Alg) composites from bamboo shell waste at several synthesis pHs (7–10) and to study their potential as clindamycin-loaded antibacterial drug delivery systems. XRD results showed that hydroxyapatite was the main crystalline phase in all samples, while FTIR analysis confirmed the presence of both hydroxyapatite and alginate in the composite. As a result, the smallest crystallite size of HAp/Alg-10 (21.25 nm) among the composites that …
Electromagnetic Signatures Of Massive Binary Black Hole Systems, Kaitlyn Porter
Electromagnetic Signatures Of Massive Binary Black Hole Systems, Kaitlyn Porter
Theses
(EM) radiation, with their observable signatures shaped by the complex interplay between orbital dynamics, gas dynamics, and radiative processes. The evolution of the surrounding accretion flow is governed by general relativistic magnetohydrodynamics (GRMHD) within a strongly curved, timedependent spacetime, making the prediction of observable EM signals a challenging computational problem. This dissertation presents the development of a general relativistic ray-tracing framework that post-processes numerical relativity GRMHD simulations of accreting SMBHB systems. The framework enables the calculation of predicted images, spectra, and light curves throughout the inspiral, merger, and early post-merger phases. In parallel, improvements are made to an analytical model …

Dynamic Exponent-Mantissa Repurposing For Adaptive Microscaling (Demr-Am) Architecture, N/A
Dynamic Exponent-Mantissa Repurposing For Adaptive Microscaling (Demr-Am) Architecture, N/A
Defensive Publications Series
This publication details a hardware architecture and data processing methodology for dynamic exponent and mantissa repurposing, tailored to facilitate adaptive microscaling within machine learning accelerators. The described methodology addresses the quantization errors and memory bandwidth constraints that frequently emerge during the deployment of large-scale artificial intelligence models. By dynamically repurposing redundant exponent bits into additional mantissa bits specifically for outlier values within a given tensor block, the system dramatically enhances numerical precision without expanding the core memory footprint of the data block. A dedicated hardware decoder can be positioned immediately prior to a dot-product engine to re-route electrical signals and …
Hardware-Level Protocol Proxying For Dynamic-Capacity Memory Systems, Vadlamudi Venkata Girish
Hardware-Level Protocol Proxying For Dynamic-Capacity Memory Systems, Vadlamudi Venkata Girish
Defensive Publications Series
Hardware-level protocol proxying (HLPP) resolves latency conflicts between a host’s transaction timers and the analog wake-up of power-gated, dynamic-capacity memory in compute express link (CXL) systems. The architecture decouples the host’s error-containment domain from the memory’s physical wake-up domain using one of three distinct hardware mechanisms. One approach involves a CXL switch performing dynamic topological hot-swapping, which routes initial memory requests through an isolated, high-latency virtual path and atomically swaps to a low-latency production path after the memory awakens. In another method, a CXL memory controller performs protocol spoofing by sending synthetic shadow completion packets to the host to repeatedly …
