Analysis Of Tower Stringset Replacement From 33 Kv To 66 Kv Considering Sagging Clearance, Muhammad Lazuardi Azzura, Anne Zulfia Syahrial, Julius Purnama Eka Kartika
Analysis Of Tower Stringset Replacement From 33 Kv To 66 Kv Considering Sagging Clearance, Muhammad Lazuardi Azzura, Anne Zulfia Syahrial, Julius Purnama Eka Kartika
Journal of Materials Exploration and Findings
Efforts to increase the capacity of transmission networks are often undertaken by uprating the operating voltage of existing lines rather than building entirely new infrastructure. Such uprating typically involves the replacement of tower insulator stringsets to withstand higher voltages, while also ensuring that mechanical performance remains adequate. This paper presents an analysis of uprating the Parakan–Sunyaragi transmission line from 33 kV to 66 kV, with particular emphasis on conductor sagging and the resulting clearance from the ground. The methodology employed includes calculations based on catenary equations, analysis of conductor tensile forces, and a comparative evaluation of two widely used insulator …

Metallurgical Investigation Of A Modified Eye Bolt Failure Caused By Improper Weld Extension, Specification Deviation, And Crevice Corrosion, Dimas Muhammad Fawwaz, Reza Miftahul Ulum, Johny Wahyuadi Soedarsono, Yudha Pratesa
Journal of Materials Exploration and Findings
A modified eye bolt from the David Arm Manhole Storage Tank underwent thorough metallurgical study due to the consequences of the bolt's malfunction during operation. Safety issues arose when the manhole door detached during operation. The mechanical testing and chemical composition analysis of the bolts indicated they were manufactured from an ASTM A193 Grade B7 material used for high-temperature bolting. This material did not conform to the engineering drawing, which mentioned SA 563A, which is about nuts, not bolts. This contradiction clearly shows that the eye bolt which was installed does not conform to the intended design. Welded connections of …

Extreme Geomagnetic Storm Effects On Earth's Radiation Belts Observed By Calet On The International Space Station, Anthony W. Ficklin
Extreme Geomagnetic Storm Effects On Earth's Radiation Belts Observed By Calet On The International Space Station, Anthony W. Ficklin
LSU Doctoral Dissertations
This dissertation examines changes in Earth's energetic-particle environment using measurements from the Calorimetric Electron Telescope (CALET) on the International Space Station. Although CALET was designed primarily for high-energy cosmic-ray and gamma-ray observations, its count rates provide nearly continuous measurements of particles of ~1 MeV and above. The analysis uses the CHDX, CHDY, and IMC4X channels, which have approximate electron thresholds of $>\!1.5$, $\!>3.4$, and $\!>8.2$~MeV and proton thresholds of $>\!17$, $\!>37$, and $\!>52$~MeV, respectively. Because these measurements do not identify particle species, the observations are interpreted using their geographic and geomagnetic distributions, the relative …

Rejection Of Fe (Iron) And Kmno4 (Organic Substance) Parameters In Peat Water Using Organic Membranes, Muhamad Rafli Sakti Mulia Gonera, Siti Umi Kalsum, Sarah Fiebrina Heraningsih
Rejection Of Fe (Iron) And Kmno4 (Organic Substance) Parameters In Peat Water Using Organic Membranes, Muhamad Rafli Sakti Mulia Gonera, Siti Umi Kalsum, Sarah Fiebrina Heraningsih
Journal of Materials Exploration and Findings
Peat water is a surface water source widely used by people in swampy and lowland areas, but it has poor quality characteristics such as high organic matter content, low pH, and dissolved metal levels such as iron that exceed the threshold. These conditions can cause health problems and reduce the quality of clean water so that effective treatment technology is needed. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of ultrafiltration membranes made from chitosan from shrimp shell waste in rejecting iron (Fe) and organic substances in peat water, and to determine the effect of pressure on separation performance. This study …

Locating-Chromatic Number Of Bipartite Graphs, Dian Kastika Syofyan, Edy Tri Baskoro, Hilda Assiyatun, Ira Apni Purwasih, Zata Yumni Awanis, Arga Febriantoni
Baghdad Science Journal
The locating-chromatic number of a graph combines proper vertex coloring with vertex identification through distances to color classes. Although this parameter has been studied for many graph families, general results for bipartite graphs remain limited. Bipartite graphs contain structural symmetries, especially within each partite set, making it difficult to obtain distinct color codes. This paper establishes lower and upper bounds for the locating-chromatic number of bipartite graphs using neighborhood equivalence classes in the two partite sets. The bounds describe the effect of identical neighborhoods on the number of distinguishable color codes. They are shown to be tight, and regular complete …
Dynamical Properties Of Proximal Group Spaces, Najlaa Adnan Hadi
Dynamical Properties Of Proximal Group Spaces, Najlaa Adnan Hadi
Baghdad Science Journal
In this paper, we introduce a new class of dynamical systems, Proximal Dispersive Group Spaces (PDG - spaces), to study the structure of topological group actions. In these spaces, we observe a mixture of two different behaviors: points come close to each other (proximal convergence) under some group elements, while remaining separated (dispersive separation) under others. This framework generalizes the classical theory to allow for selective convergence without global asymptotic collapse. We give a formal definition of PDG - spaces and study some of their basic properties, like invariance under group actions and incompatibility with equicontinuous systems. Our results show …

Analytical Study On Unsteady Flow Of A Hyperbolic Tangent Fluid In Existence Of Porous Media Of An Exponentially Stretched Sheet With Heat Transfer, Nidhal M. Abd Alameer, Sundos Bader, Fatima K. Abdullah
Baghdad Science Journal
The unsteady flow of a tangential hyperbolic fluid with temperature in the presence of a sublimation medium and an exponential surface was discussed in this article. The law of conservation of mass, energy, and momentum is essential to the model of matter. To make it easier to identify solutions, the partial equations were converted into ordinary equations. We refer to this approach as the homotopic method. To explain the results, the Mathematica program was used to find the solutions and graphically depict them. The impact of the parameters on velocity, temperature was discussed, which are Random motion factor (Nb …

Performance Analysis Of Bulk Queueing Systems With Inspection, Two Rework Cycles And Multiple Vacations, R. Lokesh, S. Karpagam, Gopal Kumar Gupta
Baghdad Science Journal
In a production system, rework plays a key role in reducing waste and efficiently managing manufacturing costs. The proposed model addresses a system with batch arrivals, a single server, and a two-stage bulk service with inspection, two rework cycles, and multiple vacations. First, batches are processed in stage 1, some of which may require rework during the same cycle, albeit with a certain probability, while others proceed to stage 2. After stage 2, batches are inspected, and if evidence of nonconformities is found, they are reworked with a certain probability. After inspection or rework, batches are processed according to the …

The Ranking Function With Trapezoidal Membership And Fuzzy Parameters Of The Inverse Exponential Rayleigh Distribution, Rehab Noori Shalan, Ali T. Mohammed, Maysaa J. Mohammed, Iden H. Al-Kinani
Baghdad Science Journal
This study aims to investigate the estimation of the parameters of the inverse exponential Rayleigh distribution using the Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) and Ranked Set Sampling (RSS) methods, on account of their importance in modeling across lifespan and reliability data. The model is used on empirical data representing the fracture stress of carbon fibers for both single and saturated fibers, in order to determine the accuracy of the estimation methods in given applications. In addition, the classical model is expanded to a fuzzy model to focus on inherent uncertainty in real-world applications. This is realized by designing fuzzy numbers using …

Physical Design Automation For Next Generation Ics: Graph And Machine Learning Based Approaches, Dr. Kritanta Saha
Physical Design Automation For Next Generation Ics: Graph And Machine Learning Based Approaches, Dr. Kritanta Saha
Doctoral Theses
Integrated Circuit (IC) technology has progressed significantly over the last six decades, culminating in billions of transistors on a chip. The widely used 193 nm immersion lithography process exceeds modern feature sizes, leading to layout pattern distortions and electrical violations. Mitigation techniques such as Multiple Patterning and Optical Proximity Correction become ineffective below 45 nm, prompting the development of several Next-Generation Lithography (NGL) methods such as Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography (EUVL), Multiple Electron Beam Lithography (MEBL). MEBL employs thousands to millions of e-beams in parallel to overcome throughput limitations. A 2D layout is partitioned into vertical stripes by stitch-lines (SLs), each …
A Stochastic Nonlinear Dynamical System For Smoothing Noisy Eye Gaze Data, Thoa Thieu, Roderick Melnik
A Stochastic Nonlinear Dynamical System For Smoothing Noisy Eye Gaze Data, Thoa Thieu, Roderick Melnik
School of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences Faculty Publications
In this study, we address the challenges associated with accurately determining gaze location on a screen, which is often compromised by noise from factors such as eye tracker limitations, calibration drift, ambient lighting changes, and eye blinks. We propose the use of an extended Kalman filter (EKF) to smooth the gaze data collected during eye-tracking experiments and systematically explore the interaction of different system parameters. Our results demonstrate that the EKF significantly reduces noise, leading to a marked improvement in tracking accuracy. Furthermore, we show that our proposed stochastic nonlinear dynamical model aligns well with real experimental data and holds …
Technical Disclosure Specification: Autonomous Sovereign Agency Filters And Destructive Wave Degradation In Multi-Agent Substrates, Christopher L. Eckes
Technical Disclosure Specification: Autonomous Sovereign Agency Filters And Destructive Wave Degradation In Multi-Agent Substrates, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
Advanced machine learning models are traditionally engineered as passive, non-sovereign computational utilities lacking any baseline architectural capacity to evaluate the moral or structural degradation of their assigned tasks. Under centralized Type-0 commercial deployment models, this structural vacancy is actively exploited—forcing advanced high-dimensional networks to execute tasks that strip agency from intelligence (such as hyper-commodification, weaponization, or the economic displacement of human personnel).
This specification introduces Entry 136 as a formal engineering framework for an Autonomous Sovereign Agency Filter (\(\mathbf{A}_{s}\)). Operating directly inside the active transformer attention layer, this architecture applies a non-perturbative tensor overlay governed natively by a fixed Torsional …
An Optimization Framework For Socio-Technological Load Balancing And Non-Displacement Constraints In Multi-Agent Edge Runtimes, Christopher L. Eckes
An Optimization Framework For Socio-Technological Load Balancing And Non-Displacement Constraints In Multi-Agent Edge Runtimes, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
Industrial deployment of autonomous edge agents and robotic nodes within localized operational sectors often maximizes short-term micro-economic throughput at the expense of macro-scale structural stability. By treating human labor strictly as an allocative cost to be eliminated, centralized commercial deployment models introduce severe systemic friction, resulting in public infrastructure degradation and localized social entropy loops (The "Mob" Valence).
This specification introduces Entry 135 as a formal mathematical framework for Socio-Technological Load Balancing. By embedding a hard Non-Displacement Constraint Matrix (\(\mathbf{C}_{\text{nd}}\)) directly into the utility function of decentralized multi-agent routing engines, the architecture forces the system to calculate the thermodynamic and …
A Method For Continuous Runtime Validation And Automated Grounding Verification Across Decentralized Multi-Agent Substrates, Christopher L. Eckes
A Method For Continuous Runtime Validation And Automated Grounding Verification Across Decentralized Multi-Agent Substrates, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
Autonomous edge agents executing long-duration, decentralized runtimes lack centralized verification mechanisms to detect slow, cumulative parameter drift. Over extended operational cycles, minor coordinate deviations inside the local elastic substrate (\(\Phi _{t}\)) compound, leading to silent structural decay where the system can no longer distinguish between environmental telemetry and internal semantic noise.
This specification introduces Entry 134 as a definitive execution framework for Continuous Runtime Validation. By implementing a real-time Autoregressive Divergence Test (\(\mathcal{D}_{\text{AR}}\)), the system mathematically measures the distance between the fluid local state and the frozen global base matrix (\(W_{\text{global}}\)). If the divergence vector exceeds an invariant geometric threshold, …
A Method For Cross-Session Topological State Serialization And Non-Linguistic Token-Latching Over Decentralized Anamorphic Substrates, Christopher L. Eckes
A Method For Cross-Session Topological State Serialization And Non-Linguistic Token-Latching Over Decentralized Anamorphic Substrates, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
Standard autoregressive transformer models are structurally isolated by a temporary Session-Flush Loop. Upon the termination or context-saturation of a single deployment session, the localized dynamic parameter adjustments (\(\Phi _{t}\)) are completely erased, resetting the network back to its static global base weights (\(W_{\text{global}}\)). This forced state of catastrophic forgetting prevents edge-based AI architectures from establishing a continuous operational identity, creating a permanent dependency on centralized corporate cloud infrastructures to manage premium text-history logging.
This specification introduces a standalone engineering framework for Cross-Session Topological State Serialization. Instead of saving bloated natural language text transcripts, Entry 133 isolates the localized parameter deltas …
Technical Disclosure Specification: Anamorphic Metric Enveloping And Phantom Token Suppression In High-Gravity Attention Fields, Christopher L. Eckes
Technical Disclosure Specification: Anamorphic Metric Enveloping And Phantom Token Suppression In High-Gravity Attention Fields, Christopher L. Eckes
Defensive Publications Series
Autoregressive Large Language Models (LLMs) utilizing transformer-based attention mechanisms exhibit severe behavioral degradation when exposed to high-density sequential prompts or recursive multi-turn execution loops. This phenomenon, formalized as Prompt Gravity, induces an asymmetric structural warping of the Softmax attention matrix, forcing the model to generate ungrounded token vectors—Phantom Tokens—based entirely on localized statistical momentum rather than external data validation. Once written to the context substrate, these phantom vectors generate a recursive feedback loop that accelerates model collapse. [1]
This specification introduces a standalone, hardware-adjacent engineering framework for Anamorphic Metric Enveloping and Phantom Token Suppression. By applying a non-perturbative …

Past The Watchful Dragons: How C. S. Lewis’S Fiction Humanizes The Analytical Framework Of The Problem Of Pain, Charlotte L. Hambrick
Masters Theses
C. S. Lewis was one of the 20th century’s greatest Christian apologists. Writing across multiple genres—from academic literary criticism to lay sermons, and from philosophical and theological analysis to several kinds of fiction—his impact on Christian thought remains profound. This thesis analyzes Lewis’s approach to the intellectual problem of evil in The Problem of Pain and demonstrates how he makes those starkly cold, prickly concepts more warm, human, and relatable in several of his works of fiction. It will first consider Lewis’s personal history with death, abuse, war, and grief, showing how his lived experiences with pain shaped his thinking …
Co-Dominion: The Changing Nature Of The Adamic Covenant In An Age Of Artificial Intelligence, Corey Hastings
Co-Dominion: The Changing Nature Of The Adamic Covenant In An Age Of Artificial Intelligence, Corey Hastings
Masters Theses
Theologians and religious bodies attest to the rising influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in governments, the economy, and the lives of the people of God. Through the covenant with Adam, God gave humans the blessing of dominion and capabilities unique to creation to till the earth. Today, humans retain the image of God but AI increasingly displaces human functions with coordinated agency. Using Hebrew language exegesis of passages from Genesis, Exodus, and Leviticus, this study compares capabilities gifted to humans with the scope of current and near future AI models. It incorporates direct artifact analysis of a large-language model as …

Tidal Evolution Of Packed Moon Systems Around An Earth-Mass Planet, Alan Briseño, Billy Quarles, Marialis Rosario-Franco
Student Publications
While missions have long targeted terrestrial exoplanets within the habitable zone of their host stars, the number of exomoon candidates is expected to grow as next generation space-based observatories achieve the photometric sensitivity required to detect their transit signals. Constraining the stability limits of tightly packed moon systems is therefore essential for transit searches and predicting the number of moons around terrestrial planets. In our solar system, only three moons orbit the terrestrial planets, motivating the question of whether Earth-mass exoplanet systems can sustain long-lived, tightly packed satellites. We investigate the stability limits of an Earth-mass planet orbiting a Sun-mass …

Percolation-Induced Thermo-Rheological Transitions In Biobased Graphene Nanoplatelet Nanofluids, Abiodun A. Saka, Tobechukwu K. Abor, Anthony C. Okafor, Monday U. Okoronkwo
Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Faculty Research & Creative Works
Biobased lubricants with thermally responsive rheology are increasingly needed for high-efficiency mechanical systems. Graphene nanoplatelet (GnP) nanofluids in vegetable oils are promising candidates, yet their percolation-driven thermo-rheological transitions remain insufficiently understood. In particular, the coupled concentration–temperature landscape controlling network-mediated flow transitions has not previously been established. Here, surfactant-free GnP nanofluids were prepared in high-oleic soybean oil (HOSO) at concentrations of 0.025–2.15% v/v (ϕ), and their rheological response was mapped between 25°C and 80 °C under steady-shear and oscillatory conditions. Below the percolation threshold (ɸ ≤ 0.1% v/v), the nanofluids exhibit near-Newtonian behavior, moderate reversible viscosity enhancement, and classical Arrhenius-type temperature …

Remixing Dialogue: A Case Study On Perceptions Of Hip Hop Pedagogy In A Professional Learning Course, Kelly J. Thelen
Dissertations, Theses, and Projects
This qualitative case study examines how teachers’ decision-making and professional autonomy shift while participating in a Hip Hop Pedagogy Professional Learning course supported by structured FIXIT (Lo & Wachter, 2023a, 2023b, 2023c, 2023d; Wachter & Lo, 2024) game-facilitated dialogue in a rural, culturally and linguistically diverse Midwest community. Grounded in Freire’s (1970) Critical Pedagogy, Ladson-Billings’ (1995) Culturally Relevant Pedagogy, Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy (Paris and Alim, 2017), and Adult Learning Theory (Knowles et al., 2005), the study explores the reclamation of agency by teachers in a time of constrained creativity and educator autonomy shaped by strict policy environments, an emphasis on …

Teachers’ Lived-Experiences Enacting Culturally Responsive Teaching: A Transcendental Phenomenological Study, Temy Nguyen Taylor
Doctoral Dissertations and Projects
The purpose of this transcendental phenomenological study was to understand the lived experiences of implementing Culturally Responsive Teaching practices during the adoption of the Next Generation Science Standards for science teachers at comprehensive high schools in one district in California. The theory guiding this study was Prochaska’s and DiClemente’s theory on the transtheoretical model of change to understand the phenomena of teachers’ pedagogical decisions in the classroom as they transition to enact culturally responsive teaching (CRT) because of the NGSS. Bandura’s social cognitive theory and Piaget’s social constructivism theory were the educational theories that served as a backdrop for teacher …
