Lengua, Conocimiento Y Continuidad Cultural: Contextos De La Educación Avanzada Del Maya Kaqchikel, José Israel Herrera
Journal of Maya Heritage

Fuzzy-System-Based Correction Of Nonlinearities In Complex Dynamic Plants, Zokhid Ergashboyevich Iskandarov, Tukhtamurod Khayitmurodovich Avezov
Fuzzy-System-Based Correction Of Nonlinearities In Complex Dynamic Plants, Zokhid Ergashboyevich Iskandarov, Tukhtamurod Khayitmurodovich Avezov
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
A method for synthesizing a fuzzy compensating element from the static characteristic of a nonlinear plant is presented. The method transforms the characteristic into a rotated coordinate system, identifies zero crossings and local extreme, maps the characteristic points back to the original coordinates, and uses them to determine the antecedent membership functions and singleton consequents of a zero-order Sugeno inference system. Unlike heuristic rule tuning, the proposed procedure derives the rule base directly from the geometry of the nonlinear characteristic. An adaptive reconfiguration mechanism based on a mismatch indicator is also formulated for operating conditions in which plant parameters vary …

Investigation Of The Problems Of Intelligent Control Of The Process Of Low-Temperature Separation Of Natural Gas., Shaxzod Nurmuhammad O‘G‘Li Amirov
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
This article analyzes the problems of intelligent control of the process of low-temperature separation (LTS) of natural gas and modern approaches to solving them. Since the process complexity of gas separation at low temperature as well as multidimensional technological parameters have nonlinear control properties, a principled technological scheme for intellectual control of technological parameters such as gas humidity, temperature, pressure, consumption and diethylenglicol (DEG) consumption of the LTS process has been developed. The analysis and literature review show that intellectual control methods allow for stable operation of the technological process, reduced energy consumption, reduced heat exchange, and reduced gas hydrate …

A Multimodal Analysis Of Conflicting Discourses On New Mexican Identity, Nicholas L. Chavez, Fátima Holguín
A Multimodal Analysis Of Conflicting Discourses On New Mexican Identity, Nicholas L. Chavez, Fátima Holguín
Intersecciones Hispánicas: Revista de Cultura, Literatura y Lingüística
We analyze two contrasting discourses on New Mexican identity, as represented in political cartoons from Trever (2021) and García (2018). We show how visual and linguistic elements of the cartoons work together to construct identity through metaphor and metonymy. It was found that Trever (2021) relied on cultural symbols such as the Zia Sun symbol as metonyms for various aspects of New Mexico’s identity, while García (2018) subverted established metaphors for American culture such as the melting pot and Uncle Sam to critique governmental influence on Nuevomexicano (‘New Mexican’) identity formation. Using the critical discourse analysis framework of Fairclough (1995), …
Memoria Selectiva Y Resistencia Identitaria En La Lluvia Amarilla (1988) De Julio Llamazares, Alain Pérez Martínez
Memoria Selectiva Y Resistencia Identitaria En La Lluvia Amarilla (1988) De Julio Llamazares, Alain Pérez Martínez

The Effect Of Strength Training On The Development Of Selected Core Muscles And Arm Strength In Young Boxers Aged 17–18 Years, Abbas Tawfeeq Mansoor
The Effect Of Strength Training On The Development Of Selected Core Muscles And Arm Strength In Young Boxers Aged 17–18 Years, Abbas Tawfeeq Mansoor
Modern Sport
This study aimed to investigate the effect of strength training on the development of selected core muscles and arm strength in young boxers. Boxers utilize maximum and fastest arm punches and core movements to achieve optimal performance against their opponents in bouts. Despite the importance of these elements, variations in specific strength levels are observed among young boxers aged 17–18 years. The problem lies in the fact that traditional training may not adequately or specifically focus on the "selected core muscles" that support dynamic balance during a fight, or on the link between core strength development and increased arm strength …

Promoting The Hpv Vaccine Across The League Of Arab States: A Scoping Review Of Interventions, Basil H. Aboul-Enein, Patricia J. Kelly, Fatmah Almoayad, Teresa Keller
College of Nursing Faculty Papers & Presentations
INTRODUCTION: This scoping review examined existing interventions designed to promote and educate about HPV vaccination in the league of Arab states (LAS).
METHODS: Following PRISMA-ScR guidelines and using a PICOS-informed approach, a comprehensive search was conducted across 16 databases to identify peer-reviewed intervention studies published between 2010 and August 2025.
RESULTS: Twenty-two studies met the inclusion criteria. Most interventions originated from Egypt and Saudi Arabia and were delivered in academic or clinical settings using short, didactic, one-group pre-post designs. Only a few studies incorporated behavioral theories, digital modalities, or multi-component strategies. Nearly all studies reported short-term improvements in HPV-related knowledge …

Colonialidade E Linguística: Uma Perspectiva Em A Febre, Jaciele Souza
Colonialidade E Linguística: Uma Perspectiva Em A Febre, Jaciele Souza
Intersecciones Hispánicas: Revista de Cultura, Literatura y Lingüística
This study aims to examine the presence of coloniality in the film The Fever (A Febre), directed by Maya Da-Rin, while also addressing linguistic aspects, particularly the interplay between the indigenous Tukano language and Portuguese throughout the narrative. It further explores the relationship between language, identity, and culture. The analysis is grounded in the theoretical frameworks of Carey-Webb (2024), Quijano (2007), Kaká Werá (1998), Othero (2017), Karnal (2024), Bourdieu (1991), and Maher (2010). The results show how the effects of colonization continue to impact Indigenous communities and how forced bilingualism reflects the mechanisms of structural racism. Additionally, the use of …

This essay approaches the book of stories by the …

Julio Cortázar's "Son of the …

Lovecraft In The Work Of Mariana Enríquez, Griffin Carty
Lovecraft: “Shadow over Innsmouth” y “The Thing on the Doorstep”.
