Understand the notion of regulatory immunity by demonstrating the relationship and influence of the independent variable and its dimensions (organizational learning, memory, and DNA) in strategic superiority. To address the research problem, the following question was examined: to what extent does regulatory immunity contribute to strengthening strategic superiority? However, to acquire empirical data, the researchers created their own survey questionnaire. Empirical data were evaluated using a variety of statistical methods to test …

The Impact Of Technological Empowerment On The Strategic Readiness Of Private Universities: The Mediating Role Of Digital Transformation, Rami Fouad Ahmed Al-Sheikhli, Mustafa Mahmoud Al-Somaidaee
Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences
In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, technological empowerment has become a strategic and existential necessity for organizations striving for growth and continued competitiveness, particularly private universities, which face significant challenges in comprehensive digital transformation. Literature reveals the absence of an integrated model linking the three research variables (technological empowerment, strategic readiness, and digital transformation). This paper aimed to examine the mediating role of digital transformation in the impact of technological empowerment on strategic readiness in Iraqi private universities. The study has employed a descriptive analytical approach, utilizing a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. The questionnaire was …

Impact Of The Sustainability Indicators On Agricultural Output In Iraq For The Period (1990–2024), Noor S. Mohammed, Basim H. Al-Badri
Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences
This study uses an econometric approach to examine how sustainability indicators affect agricultural output in Iraq. Water sustainability, food security sustainability, the agricultural labor force, and virtual water imports are independent variables, and agricultural output is the dependent variable. The analysis uses annual data from 1990 to 2024. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model is applied to analyze both short- and long-run relationships. Specifically, the results confirm the existence of a long-run equilibrium relationship between sustainability indicators and agricultural output. In the long run, water sustainability positively affects agricultural output, indicating a direct, expected relationship. Furthermore, food security sustainability has …

Every year, over 700,000 people, particularly children under five, die from vector-borne diseases worldwide. Effectively controlling endemics and preventing new outbreaks requires an integrated approach that can lead to the elimination of both vectors and diseases. In the last two decades, integrating medical interventions and vector control has significantly reduced the incidence of Gambian Human African Trypanosomiasis (g-HAT), with the World Health Organization validating eight countries as having eliminated the disease as a public health problem. However, elimination of the tsetse vector has not been confirmed, leaving the possibility of re-emergence. We developed a six-step modeling framework to assess vector …

The decline in Russian language enrollments reflects a broader trend of diminishing confidence in higher education, particularly in the humanities and language studies. Many Americans question whether an undergraduate degree effectively prepares students for meaningful careers, fueling skepticism about the value of language programs. Meanwhile, the job market has undergone significant shifts, with fewer lifelong careers and more frequent job transitions. In this evolving landscape, graduates must develop not only professional skills but also career management skills, including the ability to envision career paths, articulate their qualifications to employers, and construct compelling professional narratives. This longitudinal study examines the effectiveness of …

This article proposes an integrative framework for embedding career readiness into advanced Russian language teaching. Drawing on the experience of a U.S. Russian Flagship Program, the authors argue that career readiness requires deliberate programmatic choices: a proficiency level sufficient for meaningful disciplinary engagement and study abroad immersion; a flexible open-architecture curriculum that admits interdisciplinarity into the core of the program; faculty preparation that makes embedded career advising possible; and institutional partnerships that give language work standing in professional contexts. Framed through the Connections standard of the World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages, the article positions interdisciplinary engagement not as an enrichment …

As Slavic language programs seek to align their curricula with workforce needs, the role of Russian and other Slavic languages in military and government service presents unique challenges and opportunities. This paper examines how linguistic training, particularly in Russian, can be better structured for students at American universities and colleges who wish to pursue government and security-related careers. Drawing on 30 interviews with native and non-native Russian speakers serving in the U.S. Army, this study explores the implications of using Russian as a lingua franca for U.S. military cooperation with former Soviet states. Given the political sensitivities surrounding the Russian …
