The study was conducted to investigate whether statistically significant differences exist in the quality of treatment plans developed by artificial intelligence (AI) platforms versus treatment plans generated by licensed psychologists, with a focus on intervention specificity and clinical appropriateness. Given the rapid proliferation of digital mental health technologies and the persistent shortage of licensed mental health professionals, empirical evaluation of AI-driven clinical tools has become a critical area of inquiry. Grounded in dual process theory (DPT), which conceptualizes decision making as the product of both intuitive and analytical cognitive systems, the study employed a quantitative, between-groups design. Objective:
Pharmacogenetic-guided treatment is a recent innovation which attempts to improve the variability in individual response to pharmacological treatment. In patients with MDD, pharmacogenetic-guided treatment was evaluated for improvements in remission, symptom reduction, and drug side effect rates compared to the standard of care.
Methods:
A structured literature search was conducted using Google Scholar and Research Rabbit. Studies published within the past 10 years evaluating pharmacogenetic-guided treatment in major depressive disorder and reporting remission, symptom improvement, or adverse effects were included. Eligible studies were qualitatively synthesized to assess the clinical utility of pharmacogenetic-guided antidepressant treatment.

Objective: To evaluate the effects of prenatal exercise among pregnant individuals on pregnancy complications and to determine whether exercise modality influences pregnancy outcomes.
Methods: A narrative literature review was conducted using Research Rabbit and PubMed to identify studies examining exercise during pregnancy and associated maternal and fetal outcomes. Eligible studies included English-language, full-text, peer-reviewed articles and systematic reviews published after 2020 involving healthy pregnant patients, with pregnancy outcomes as the primary outcome measure. Studies without measurable outcomes or involving pre-existing comorbidities were excluded.

Objective: The purpose of this paper is to determine whether the class of Neurokinin -3 Receptor Antagonists (NK3) are efficacious in managing vasomotor symptoms in women who have contraindications to the gold standard treatment of hormone therapy. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of aerobic exercise compared with resistance training in improving metabolic and reproductive outcomes in adult women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Primary outcomes included body mass index (BMI), insulin resistance, and menstrual regularity.

The goal of this study was to evaluate academic performance of students in professional healthcare programs utilizing hybrid learning compared to traditional in-person instruction.

This article examines the semantic structure of the left-right political binary in contemporary Anglophone discourse. It argues that the fusion of “right” as directional orientation with “right” as moral correctness produces a form of semantic over-determination that complicates the articulation of democratic legitimacy in periods of political crisis. The claim is not that directional metaphors determine political outcomes, but that they furnish a discursive resource that can be mobilized in struggles over authority, order, and rectitude. To illuminate the contingency of this fusion, the article turns to the East Asian concept of zheng 正 (uprightness), whose semantic independence from handedness …

Millions of tons of keratin-rich waste are disposed of annually, which could be revalorized, mitigating greenhouse emissions and pollution. Microbial keratinases offer tools for keratin waste valorization, yet they lack robustness for industrial use. In an Applied and Environmental Microbiology article, Y. Yang, Y. Luo, Y. Ding, Y. Yao, et al. (92:e01860-25, 2025, https://doi.org/10.1128/aem.01860-25) integrated machine learning, rational design, and empirical screening to produce boiling-resistant variants that were reusable and highly effective at keratin degradation, demonstrating the promise of deep-learning-guided enzyme engineering.

Law enforcement recruits typically complete law enforcement agency (LEA) academy training before assuming sworn-in duty. Tactical strength and conditioning facilitators (TSAC-F) may need to modify program design based on their unique circumstances. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of different training program designs in five state-mandated tests (vertical jump [VJ], 1-minute sit-ups and push-ups, 300-meter [300m] sprint, and 2.4-kilometer [2.4km] run) among LEA recruits at a Midwest LEA training academy. Background: Workplace violence (WPV), including verbal threats and physical assaults, toward healthcare professionals is an escalating threat to workforce safety, well-being, and retention. Although structured tools exist to assess aggression risk, most have been developed for psychiatric or emergency settings, and evidence supporting their validity or consistent use in general inpatient care remains limited. The neural-immune-cardiovascular axis represents an emerging and highly integrated physiological and pathophysiological concept, describing a complex bidirectional communication network between the nervous, immune, and vascular systems. This review systematically examines the pivotal role of this axis in maintaining cardiovascular homeostasis and in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases. We first provide an overview of the fundamental signaling pathways between the components of this axis. BACKGROUND: Cervical cancer is the most common cancer and the leading cause of cancer mortality among women in Eswatini, which reported the highest cervical cancer incidence and mortality rates globally in 2022. However, recent nationally representative published data on cervical cancer screening coverage in Eswatini remain limited.
