Background: Dependent elderly individuals face challenges in accessing dental services. Caregivers play a key role in facilitating this access. This study explored factors influencing caregivers’ decisions to bring bedridden elderly individuals to receive dental care.

Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 540 randomly selected caregivers from a total of 1,216 in Buriram province. Data collected included caregiver demographics (age, gender, education, income, household size, living arrangements, and transportation used) and factors affecting access to public dental services. Background: Buddhist monks are considered a vulnerable population in terms of health; however, their health-seeking behaviors (HSB), and associated factors remain underexplored in Thailand. This study aims to investigate HSB and its determinants among Thai Buddhist Monk.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted between February and March 2023 using a self-administered questionnaire. Stratified random sampling was applied. The questionnaire was based on an established HSB model. Multinomial logistic regression was used to identify factors associated with HSB across different levels of illness severity.

Background: Treatment adherence in tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health challenge in Indonesia. In West Kalimantan, high treatment interruption rates are driven by geographic, socioeconomic, and healthcare factors. This study identifies the risk factors linked to treatment interruption in the province.

Methods: A retrospective cohort study was using the System Information of Tuberculosis (SITB) database from 2019 to 2022 (n = 12,052). We used Kaplan-Meier analysis and Cox regression to identify treatment interruption risk factors, considering patient characteristics and geographic disparities.

Background: Workplace mental health is a growing concern in higher education, especially in open and distance learning (ODL) settings, where staff face unique stressors. This study examines the mental health and counseling needs of academic and support staff at Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU), Thailand, using a biopsychosocial lens.

Methods: An explanatory sequential mixed-methods design was used. In the quantitative phase, 332 staff completed a questionnaire on mental health and biopsychosocial factors. This study analyzed the physical and temporal demands of elite male and female beach volleyball athletes during professional competitions, specifically focusing on match duration, rally characteristics, and work-to-rest ratios. Utilizing the Balltime AI platform, 7,832 rallies from 92 matches (49 males, 43 females) during the 2023 FIVB Elite 16 Tour and the 2024 Paris Olympic Games were examined. The findings indicate an average total match duration of approximately 46 min (45:55 ± 10:11), with active playing time averaging 13:30 ± 03:06 min and rest periods totaling 32:25 ± 07:29 min. This publication explores the use of edible coatings made from a ternary blend of natural polymers—pectin (1%), gelatin (2%), and sodium alginate (3%)—combined with grapefruit essential oil (GEO) to extend the shelf life of cherry tomatoes (CTs). These natural polymers form flexible, edible films with good barrier properties, while GEO contributes antioxidant and antimicrobial effects. CTs were coated with varying GEO concentrations (0%, 5%, and 10%) and stored in original packaging at room temperature. This study investigates the effectiveness of edible coatings in extending the shelf life of strawberries while enhancing their sensory properties too. The primary objective is to preserve the visual appeal, texture, and overall quality of strawberries during storage through the application of a bio-based edible coating. Urchin-like gold nanoparticles have shown to enhance cytotoxicity against cancer cells compared to original gold nanoparticles making them a ‘promise’ for cancer treatment because of their specific size inducing more hot spots and produced surface/volume ratio. In this work, A simple hydrothermal process was utilized to create 3D-foam-type Nitrogen-doped graphene (NDG). The synthesized material was characterized using a range of physicochemical characterization techniques. These techniques confirm that nitrogen is successfully incorporated into the carbon network, resulting in NDG. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) investigation demonstrated that NDG-modified glassy carbon electrode (NDG/GCE) displayed finite charge transfer properties against typical redox systems. NDG/GCE is identified as a simple, facile, and efficient electrocatalyst material for the estimation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).
