Data-Driven Predictive Model For Various Shapes Of Gold Nanoparticle Synthesis Based On Self-Organizing Maps, Thanapol Khamhla
Data-Driven Predictive Model For Various Shapes Of Gold Nanoparticle Synthesis Based On Self-Organizing Maps, Thanapol Khamhla
Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)
This work presents a machine learning framework that simultaneously classifies the shape and predicts the localised surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) wavelength of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) purely from synthesis conditions. The dataset used to train the model consist of synthesis conditions and the corresponding AuNPs characteristics, including spherical, star, plate, and rod shapes with their measured LSPR wavelengths, were compiled from existing literatures. Our model first classifies synthesis conditions into clusters according to their resulting shape and then builds local regression models for each shape, enabling both classification and quantitative prediction within a single framework. The proposed model integrates the clustering …

Ideologies And Fears As Mechanisms Of Military Regime Legitimation : A Comparative Analysis Of Sarit Thanarat In Thailand And Ne Win In Burma, Hyeon-Min Kim
Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)
This thesis examines how Sarit Thanarat in Thailand and Ne Win in Burma legitimized their military regimes through ideological narratives and threat discourses. Both leaders, who came to power through coups d’état without democratic legitimacy, sought to justify their authoritarian military rules by constructing discourses that transformed coercion into moral guardianship. Sarit emphasized traditional Thai values, lak-thai, aligning them with the monarchy and anti-communism to portray his military regime as the protector of national identity. Ne Win, by contrast, promoted Burman ethno-nationalism and the Burmese Way to Socialism and emphasized the Burmese Armed Forces (Tatmadaw)’s role in safeguarding the unity …

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the influence of nominal shade on the color reproducibility of CAD-CAM lithium disilicate glass ceramic crowns.Materials and Methods: An in vitro study was conducted on 16 CAD-CAM lithium disilicate crowns (IPS e.max CAD LT) fabricated in four VITA Classical shades (A3, B3, C3, D3; N=4 per group). Each crown was cemented on a corresponding polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) abutment of matching shade. Shade determination was performed using a spectrophotometer and an intraoral scanner under controlled conditions. Color trueness was assessed against the VITA Classical shade guide using exact match and broad acceptance criteria. The L*, a*, …
Occlusal Analysis Using A Novel Classification Of Static And Dynamic Articulations In Tmd And Non-Tmd Patients, Uthai Uma
Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)
Background: Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are multifactorial conditions affecting masticatory systems. While occlusal morphology has been suggested as a contributing factor, functional, behavioral, and postural elements may play a more prominent role. This study aimed to evaluate demographic, clinical, occlusal, and functional characteristics associated with TMD in a Thai patient population using a novel articulation classification. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 872 participants (684 TMD, 188 non-TMD) was conducted. Data included demographic characteristics, postural and habitual behaviors, occlusal morphology, articulation classification, articulation ratios, mandibular range of motion, and TMD diagnostic categories. The articulation classification and ratios were designed and tested for …
Wage Gap And Wage Discrimination Among Persons With Disabilities: Empirical Evidence From Thailand, Natthavit Wongsrithanasarn
Wage Gap And Wage Discrimination Among Persons With Disabilities: Empirical Evidence From Thailand, Natthavit Wongsrithanasarn
Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)
This study provides a comprehensive quantitative analysis of the disability wage gap and potential wage discrimination in Thailand. Utilizing data from the 2017 and 2022 Thailand Disability Surveys, this research employs the Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition technique to examine wage disparities between workers with and without physical or cognitive disabilities. The results reveal a substantial wage gap, with non-disabled workers, on average, earning approximately 50% more than persons with physical disabilities and more than twice as much as persons with cognitive disabilities. The decomposition analysis indicates that while over 75% of the wage gap for persons with physical disabilities is explained by …
Automated Infinite Combos Detection System For Collectible Card Game, Amornpong Trakarnkulphun
Automated Infinite Combos Detection System For Collectible Card Game, Amornpong Trakarnkulphun
Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)
In Collectible Card Games, resources management is one of the most effective strategy. However, there are some combinations of cards which produce unlimited resources called infinite combos. Too-cheap infinite combos that can be played early in the game break game environment, because the player who executes the combo immediately wins. To solve the problem, game designers usually restrict a part of the combos from being played. Due to the large number of cards in the card pool, it is difficult to search for these combos and solve this problem before a release date of a card set. This research aims …
Pipeline For Non-Self-Intersecting Racetrack Generation In Racing Games, Chatrtime Chatramornrat
Pipeline For Non-Self-Intersecting Racetrack Generation In Racing Games, Chatrtime Chatramornrat
Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)
Procedural content generation (PCG) allows racing games to supply new racetracks automatically, but straightforward generators can produce layouts with unrealistically tight bends or self-crossings that compromise playability. This thesis introduces a racetrack generation pipeline that connects chain–code–based synthesis with a dedicated post-processing stage for resolving intersections. Candidate layouts are first assembled from image–based differential chain codes and adjusted so that each forms a closed loop. Regions where the centreline crosses itself are then identified and repaired by cutting and joining overlapping branches and applying locally constrained smoothing, so that the overall course geometry is kept intact. Finally, geometric descriptors such …
Gitcofl : Design And Implementation Of A Git-Based Federated Learning Framework Utilizing Container-Based Technology, Chokchai Faroongsarng
Gitcofl : Design And Implementation Of A Git-Based Federated Learning Framework Utilizing Container-Based Technology, Chokchai Faroongsarng
Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)
The rapid proliferation of artificial intelligence (AI) necessitates training paradigms that are both robust and privacy-preserving. Traditional centralized federated learning (CFL) suffers from single points of failure and communication bottlenecks, while decentralized federated learning (DFL) introduces communication complexities and lacks integrated version control. This paper proposes GitCoFL, a novel framework that leverages Docker containers and a Git server as an independent, external medium for model weight communication and storage. This architecture provides inherent flexibility, enabling efficient operation in both CFL and DFL settings. Using CIFAR-10 benchmarks with MobileNet and using FedAvg for federation algorithms, GitCoFL achieves competitive F1 score when …
A Benchmarking Study Of Grover's Algorithm For Solving Boolean Sat With Quantum Circuits, Jirapas Unison Jipipob
A Benchmarking Study Of Grover's Algorithm For Solving Boolean Sat With Quantum Circuits, Jirapas Unison Jipipob
Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)
This study explores how well Grover's Algorithm performs in solving the Boolean Satisfiability Problem (SAT) using quantum circuits. The algorithm is implemented with IBM's Qiskit framework and compared to classical brute-force methods. Experiments focus on 3-SAT, 4-SAT, and 5-SAT problems, using quantum simulators and IBM quantum hardware. The results show that Grover's Algorithm is more efficient, offering a theoretical quadratic speedup over classical methods. However, practical issues like limited qubit availability, hardware noise, and optimization challenges impact its current performance. The data highlights the potential for quantum computing to scale and solve NP-complete problems. This research shows how quantum computing …
