Building Information Modeling (BIM) has become an essential component in modern construction engineering, offering significant opportunities for performance improvement. However, some organizations face a critical decision in their BIM implementation strategies: whether to outsource BIM deliverables to external consultants or to develop and maintain in-house BIM teams. This paper provides a qualitative and comparative analysis of the approaches to outsourcing BIM services versus forming internal teams. This study investigates the potential of large language models (LLMs) to enhance feedback generation for written assignments, with a focus on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) projects. Through a systematized review of 70 studies, we identify key trends, including a predominance of structured (52.63%) and argumentative inputs (21.05%) and iterative feedback mechanisms (64.91%), which align with LEED’s criteria-driven workflows. In many cases, land tenure and rights are not formally recorded, and land administration systems are inaccessible to rural communities. This research study examined the benefits and attendant challenges of using blockchain and digital land registries for land tenure security and management/administration processes. Environmental sustainability has become a core value for many companies in the construction industry. However, while methodologies and tools for carbon accounting are available, design decisions are still primarily driven by cost rather than carbon considerations. One reason for this lies in the timing and availability of data. Cost estimates are collected early and refined throughout the design phase, which supports decision-making. This study investigates feasibility of incorporating dry superabsorbent polymer (SAP) particles as internal curing agents in concrete utilizing two delivery methods: direct addition of the particles and addition of the particles encapsulated in dissolvable bags. The use of dissolvable bags provides a practical method of storing, handling, and dosing pre-measured amounts of dry SAP particles into cementitious mixtures. Concrete specimens containing SAPs were prepared using both methods, and their properties were evaluated through compressive strength tests at 3, 7, and 28 days, flexural strength tests, ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) measurements, and dynamic elastic and shear modulus determinations.
