Gongbi Artists' Acceptance Of Aigc: An Extended Tam Analysis With Qualitative And Quantitative Data, Yuhang Mao, Anthony Kong
IASDR Conference Series
Gongbi painting artists’ acceptance of Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) through an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Using mixed methods (204 questionnaires and 15 interviews), we explored the effects of cultural adaptability, creative subjectivity, and ethical risk. Findings show that cultural adaptability significantly increases perceived usefulness and ease of use, while ethical risk negatively impacts adoption. Creative subjectivity strongly promotes willingness to use AIGC. However, perceived usefulness and ease of use do not directly affect intention. Results highlight the need for culturally sensitive AI design that balances tradition and innovation, while addressing ethical concerns.

Designing Intuitive Interfaces For Feature Steering Of Llms, Allison Huang, Yihyun Lim
Designing Intuitive Interfaces For Feature Steering Of Llms, Allison Huang, Yihyun Lim
IASDR Conference Series
Feature steering enables users to strengthen or weaken concepts (features) that an LLM has already learned in realtime. It has emerged as an alternative to prompting, allowing continuous rather than discrete control over model behavior. However, given the technical knowledge required to extract and then steer on features, this process is mostly limited to technical researchers. We seek to build a graphical user interface that makes steering accessible to the layperson. Existing interfaces prioritize flexibility over intuition, overwhelming users with the sheer number of options for what to prompt or what features to steer on. We conducted a user-centered design …

Defensive Publications Series
Enforcing complex, team-specific software development rules that are beyond the scope of some static analysis tools can present challenges, and manual review for such rules may be slow and error-prone. The described techniques may address these challenges by employing automated agents powered by large language models within a code review workflow. These agents can be configured with natural language prompts that codify domain-specific knowledge and complex validation logic. When triggered by a code change, an agent can analyze the modification and its relationship to other relevant files in the codebase. This method can provide automated, inline feedback on adherence to …

"Live Otio": Decentralized Nle Timeline Synchronization Via Opentimelineio And Rga Crdt Mapping, Matthew D. Judson
Defensive Publications Series
Disclosed is a method for decentralized, real-time synchronization of Non-Linear Editor (NLE) timelines by mapping the OpenTimelineIO (OTIO) schema to Conflict-Free Replicated Data Types (CRDTs). The core innovation is the specific application of the Replicated Growable Array (RGA) algorithm (e.g., via Automerge) to manage the temporal sequence of clips in an OTIO Track. RGA avoids array indices, instead using persistent UUIDs and relative positioning ("Insert Clip B after UUID-A"). This mathematically guarantees convergence and solves the "index shifting" problem inherent in concurrent timeline edits, enabling offline-capable collaboration without central servers. The system defines a direct isomorphism between OTIO components and …

Abstract
The global phase-out of leaded gasoline marked a major milestone in pollution control, yet modern uses of lead (Pb) continue to pose significant health risks, especially in low- and middle-income countries. In the Philippines, significant data gaps still exist despite increasing exposure. This study presents to the best of our knowledge, the first Pb isotopic fingerprinting of atmospheric aerosols in Metro Manila, Philippines, covering fine (0.56–1 μm) and coarse (5.6–10 μm) fractions, collected in 2018–2019. Results show that local sources, mainly industrial activities (45–62 %) and fossil fuel combustion (30–45 %), are now the dominant contributors to airborne Pb, …
Quality Improvement Project: Enhancing Nursing Documentation Of Patients’ Chief Complaints And Anatomical Site Markings In Radiographic Imaging Requests, Clara Odili
Doctor of Nursing Practice Projects
Incomplete or inaccurate radiographic imaging requests remain a persistent barrier to diagnostic accuracy and patient safety in urgent care settings. The purpose of this quality improvement (QI) initiative was to enhance nursing documentation of patients’ chief complaints and anatomical site markings through an evidence-based educational intervention targeting nurse-trained X-ray technicians. Guided by Benner’s Novice-to-Expert framework and principles of evidence-based practice, this project employed a pre- and post-intervention design over a two-week implementation period. Data was collected using structured knowledge and competency assessments. Post-intervention findings demonstrated substantial improvements in documentation accuracy, with mean knowledge scores increasing by approximately 30% and self-reported …
