Dynamic Multi-Space Agent Rotation For Persistent Ai Assistants In Rotating Operational Roles, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

A single persistent AI agent operates across multiple operator-dedicated communication spaces and switches which space it actively serves according to external rotation schedule data. The agent maintains a unified domain knowledge base that persists across rotations and separate per-user profiles that customize behavior per operator. At rotation boundaries, the agent automatically generates a shift summary for an outgoing operator, stores open issue context into the unified domain knowledge base, switches active output routing to an incoming operator’s space, loads the incoming operator’s profile, sends a welcome briefing including open issues and recent patterns, and activates monitoring in the new space. …

Pipelined Asynchronous Prefetch With Decoupled Fill Queues And Completion-Order Processing For Storage-Backed Embedding Tables, Anonymous Jun 2026

Pipelined Asynchronous Prefetch With Decoupled Fill Queues And Completion-Order Processing For Storage-Backed Embedding Tables, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

Techniques are described for prefetching embeddings from SSD-backed storage using a decoupled pipeline. Cache misses are identified by a caller thread and enqueued to a miss queue. A dedicated reader stage dequeues misses, issues asynchronous multi-key storage reads, and forwards completed results individually to a fill queue in completion order rather than request order. A dedicated cache filler stage dequeues fill entries and inserts embedding values into one or more caches, optionally selecting fill work using a priority policy that accounts for urgency (e.g., embeddings awaited by a forward pass), access frequency, and batch position. The reader stage may adapt …

Multi-Organ Living Donor Matching System Using Social Graph Embedding With Donation-Aware Bias And Heuristic Medical Compatibility Scoring, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

A computer-implemented platform matches living organ donors with recipients using self-reported profile data and social-network data. A request is routed by organ type to kidney, liver, or bone marrow logic. A Friend2Vec graph embedding model constructs a weighted social graph, performs biased random walks, and trains a Skip-Gram network to produce user embeddings. Friend2Vec adds a donation-aware bias parameter that preferentially traverses edges associated with successful donation events. Embeddings are fused with medical and geographic attribute vectors using a learned fusion layer with layer normalization. A multi-layer perceptron predicts P(Donation | Donor, Recipient) from concatenated donor and recipient embeddings, their …

Gpu-Storage I/O Isolation For Distributed Embedding Training Systems, Anonymous Jun 2026

Gpu-Storage I/O Isolation For Distributed Embedding Training Systems, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

A GPU-storage I/O isolation architecture is described for distributed embedding training with SSD-backed embedding tables. Storage-related callbacks are registered using a host function launch mechanism that holds a GPU driver mutex only during enqueue, allowing blocking key-value store reads to execute on a CPU thread without stalling other CUDA streams. SSD read completions are delivered through a condition-variable-backed fill queue that wakes a filler thread without polling. Cache eviction is overlapped with prefetch using a double-buffer eviction manager that alternates buffers across training steps while a background thread writes dirty entries back to SSD. A stream isolation scheduler assigns dedicated …

Distributed Cache Coherence Protocol For Tiered Embedding Storage Across Multi-Node Training Systems, Anonymous Jun 2026

Distributed Cache Coherence Protocol For Tiered Embedding Storage Across Multi-Node Training Systems, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

A multi-node training system uses tiered embedding storage with a high-bandwidth memory cache and local persistent storage on each node. Each node maintains a probabilistic cache directory, such as a Bloom filter, that encodes identifiers of cached embedding rows and periodically exchanges the directory with peer nodes, optionally using delta updates. Upon a local cache miss, a fetch decision engine consults received directories to identify candidate peers and selects between a one-sided RDMA read from a peer’s cache and a local persistent-store read based on estimated costs and load limits. Remotely retrieved embeddings are accepted subject to a staleness threshold …

Spatially Modulated Wavefront Quantum Key Distribution With Non-Local Quantum Zeno Dynamic Phase-Collapse (Geometric Wavefront Scytale With Entanglement-Triggered Self-Immolation), Johny Manuel-Devadoss, Jayden Johnson

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure describes a method and system for securing free-space Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) against intercept-and-resend, quantum cloning, and wide-aperture phase-matching attacks by employing multi-spatial mode quantum states combined with real-time, non-local phase collapse. Rather than encoding cryptographic keys in conventional linear single-photon streams, the system distributes information across the Orbital Angular Momentum (OAM) and radial phase profiles of a macroscopic, spatially sculpted wavefront through a dynamically varying Topological Transposition matrix, M(t). This approach renders the encoded information inherently orthogonal to conventional linear eavesdropping apertures while enabling high-dimensional quantum state encoding.

To protect against partial interception and coherent cloning attempts, …

World Literature According To Its Poster Children, Jernej Habjan Jun 2026

World Literature According To Its Poster Children, Jernej Habjan

CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture

Some of the most influential pronouncements on world literature have been made by the kind of authors who are most likely to emerge as representatives of world literature once we agree on a definition, including Goethe, the young Marx, Tagore, Gorky, Hesse, Kundera, and the distinguished signatories of the manifesto for a world-literature in French. Breaking out of this vicious circle by referring to the authority of pure theorists of world literature is not the solution, as this would only pull us into a new vicious circle where most of these theorists would mostly remind us of the names that …

Milan Kundera As A Representative And A Theorist Of World Literature, Lucija Mandić Jun 2026

Milan Kundera As A Representative And A Theorist Of World Literature, Lucija Mandić

CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture

The article traces the evolution of Milan Kundera’s notion of world literature across his career, contextualizing his writings within major historical events, including the so-called liberalization of Czechoslovakia in the 1960s, the post-1989 transition of the former Soviet bloc, and the turn of the millennium. Throughout the years, but particularly after his own immigration to France in 1975, Kundera consistently tied the notion of world literature with that of Central Europe to emerge with a conceptual framework that enabled him to position (semi-)peripheral European literatures within the Western canon. In his influential 2005 essay “Die Weltliteratur,” Kundera ultimately reframed the …

The Proletarian Moment In World Literature, Anna Björk Einarsdóttir Jun 2026

The Proletarian Moment In World Literature, Anna Björk Einarsdóttir

CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture

During the interwar period (1918–1939), an international literary movement emerged in relation to internationalist and socialist politics and political struggles. Writers around the world saw themselves as contributors to a new proletarian moment within the historical unfolding of world literature. This movement was international, and writers situated on the peripheries of both the capitalist core and the emerging socialist world looked toward revolutionary Russia and other centers of the socialist world. This paper focuses on three such authors, the American Richard Wright, the Argentinian Roberto Arlt, and the Icelander Halldór Laxness. During the interwar period, all three were involved in …

Zheng Zhenduo And The Problem Of Priority In World Literature, Daniel M. Dooghan Jun 2026

Zheng Zhenduo And The Problem Of Priority In World Literature, Daniel M. Dooghan

CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture

This essay investigates how Zheng Zhenduo (郑振铎 1898–1958) developed a theory of world literature in response to threats to China both politically from without and culturally from within. Centered on an analysis of his 1922 article “A View on the Unification of Literature” (Wenxue de tongyiguan 文學的統一觀), the essay argues that although Zheng believed like many of his contemporaries in the transformative effects of reading world literature in translation, that does not constitute the entirety of his theorization of world literature. Instead, he accepted the first-move advantage of other national literatures in defining both world literary standards and literature …

Reconsidering Karl Marx’S Concept Of World Literature, Kenneth Cheng Jun 2026

Reconsidering Karl Marx’S Concept Of World Literature, Kenneth Cheng

CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture

It is widely assumed that Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels regarded world literature as an epiphenomenal product of the capitalist world market, and therefore as a symptom of rather than potential cure to the crisis of modern society. However, this conflicts with the fact that they designated the Communist Manifesto itself as a world-literary production—the joint work of communists of various nationalities—and opposed it to the national limitations of German socialist literature. This article challenges existing interpretations by outlining how Marx and Engels incorporated the humanistic idealism of the Goethean Weltliteratur tradition into the theoretical framework of historical materialism. It …

World Literature: From Perpetual War To Perpetual Peace (And Back Again), Sándor Hites Jun 2026

World Literature: From Perpetual War To Perpetual Peace (And Back Again), Sándor Hites

CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture

In this article, I address the relationship between world literature theories and questions of peace and war. I argue that the genesis of the concept of world literature in the 1790s was informed by profound transformations, in political theory, of the issue of the relevance and meaning of war and peace and their public perception. Theorists such as Wieland, Novalis, Jean Paul, and Fichte offered their concepts in response to the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, adjusting them to shifting frontlines and the change of military fortune. Goethe’s notion of Weltliteratur already reflected on the geopolitics of the post-Napoleonic age, …

Self-Updating Media Collections Using Query Embeddings, Ashwin Goyal, Nick Staubach

Defensive Publications Series

Media library applications allow users to organize their media such as photos and video into collections. Dynamic, self-updating collections are implemented in some applications, but are limited to narrow criteria such as a particular person label, a particular object type, etc. Current dynamic collection generation mechanisms do not support complex natural language criteria that a user may want to express, e.g., “all my photos after a workout; include screenshots from my fitness tracker.” This disclosure describes techniques that use a large language model (LLM) or other suitable model to transform complex user-specified criteria into a vector representation. Media assets in …
