This disclosure describes autofill techniques that enable a user to easily choose an optimal payment method when paying for purchases online. Per the techniques, a database of payment cards and associated information such as rewards and benefits is constructed automatically by accessing information available at card provider websites and using a large language model (LLM) to parse the information. With user permission, when the user initiates a purchase, their shopping context (e.g., seller platform, item categories, amounts, etc.) is accessed and their stored payment cards are compared against the database to identify the optimal payment method. This payment method is …

Progress in storage technologies is vital to the efficiency of electric vehicles in combating climate change. The automobile industry’s transition to electric mobility has significantly increased the demand for battery storage systems (BSS) in terms of performance, reliability, monitoring, and evaluation of key parameters. However, poor safety and monitoring strategies for battery storage systems in electric vehicle applications pose an increasing threat to the vehicles’ sustainability and mobility. This calls for intelligent battery storage monitoring systems to mitigate carbon footprint and preserve battery lifespan of electric vehicles. This paper focuses on battery storage sustainability in electric vehicles with special emphasis …

Jurnal Pendidikan: Teori, Penelitian, dan Pengembangan
To improve the reading skills of first-grade elementary school students in Indonesian, particularly in relation to reading, this project aims to create picture card-based learning materials. The five steps of the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, were used in the research and development (R&D) process. Pretests and posttests, expert validation, questionnaires, interviews, and observations were some of the methods used to collect data. Experts in content, media, and language verified the media that had been created, and feedback from teachers and students assessed its usefulness. With a feasibility rating of 94% from media experts, 91% …

Productive Lectures: Passion Of Writing In The Pandemic Era (From Virtual Space To Real Theworks), Novebri Novebri
Jurnal Pendidikan: Teori, Penelitian, dan Pengembangan
Higher education as icon of scientists has three duties, education/teaching, research and community engagements that must be carried out by lecturers even though in the covid-19 pandemic, lecturers are required to remain creative and productive in their work, writing scientific papers as a form of implementing the three duties of higher education. This condition is not an obstacle for lecturers to remain productive in their work, lecturers can research and community engagements through online data collection and then arrange it to scientific writing published in national/international journal. Teaching, learning and writing from virtual space to the real works.

This paper aims to give insight and recommend teachers to implement Virtual Reality in language learning, especially in EFL classrooms such as in Indonesia. In the digital era, the use of technology by young people cannot be separated from daily life. Therefore, teachers can use and create the course materials by implementing virtual reality in building language acquisition instead of using traditional methods and textbooks. Using interesting learning sources can enhance students’ motivation to learn. The use of Virtual Reality will give new experiences and environments for the students to learn a new language especially English.

Teachers’ Perception And Practices Of Learner-Centered Methods In English Language Teaching, Gashaw Shewangizaw
Teachers’ Perception And Practices Of Learner-Centered Methods In English Language Teaching, Gashaw Shewangizaw
Jurnal Pendidikan: Teori, Penelitian, dan Pengembangan
This study explored Ethiopian Technical and Vocational Training Institute English teachers' perceptions and practices of student-centered learning. The interviews and observations results revealed positive teacher attitudes towards student-centered approaches, but classroom practices often remained teacher-centered and reliant on textbooks, disregarding student interests. Challenges included a lack of practical implementation skills, conflicting summative assessments, and the need for continuous formative feedback. Bridging the conceptual-practical divide requires practice-integrated professional development and flexible policies to support autonomy and experience- driven curricula. These findings contribute to understanding contextual realities and refining alignment with evolving workforce demands through ongoing improvement and localized responsiveness.

Tropical forests are a dominant regulator of the global carbon cycle, exchanging more carbon dioxide with the atmosphere than any other terrestrial biome. Climate models predict unprecedented climatic warming in tropical regions in the coming decades; however, in situ field warming studies are severely lacking in tropical forests. Here we present results from an in situ warming experiment in Puerto Rico, where soil respiration responses to +4 oC warming were assessed half-hourly for a year. Soil respiration rates were 42-204% higher in warmed relative to ambient plots, representing some of the highest soil respiration rates reported for any …
