This article focuses on the process of professionalization of investigative journalists in Morocco, exploring the different educational pathways, access routes, and qualifications obtained by these professionals. Access to the journalism profession can be achieved through various avenues: professional schools, university disciplines, or learning on the job. In this article, we will try to work on the intercultural identity that characterizes the two main characters in the novel Eldorado by Laurent Gaudé, a contemporary French writer. In this polyphonic text, two narrative voices take turns to oppose two different points of view of the illegal immigration that has grown in the last decades. Abject Futures: The (Re)Negotiation Of Nafta And The Canadian Power Elite, Dean Ray

This paper draws upon the critical political economy tradition in Canada to examine the renegotiation of NAFTA and the class interests at work in the final agreement. It draws on a range of ethnographic and media sources in its argumentation. The paper provides a comprehensive review of Canadian Political Economy before it turns to the negotiation and the actions of Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland. It is argued that Freeland was adept at appearance management and manipulating media presentations of herself to make the negotiation seem more laboured then it was. David Arditi is an Associate Professor of Sociology and Director of the Center for Theory at the University of Texas at Arlington. He holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from George Mason University. His research addresses the impact of digital technology on society and culture with a specific focus on music. Arditi is author of iTake-Over: The Recording Industry in the digital era. Arditi serves as Editor of Fast Capitalism. In 2016, he developed MusicDetour, a local music archive available for everyone to stream free music.

Background: Buddhist monks in Thailand experience distinctive lifestyle constraints—such as dependence on alms-based diets and restrictions on strenuous physical activity—that heighten their vulnerability to type 2 diabetes. This study examined the effectiveness of a structured health literacy program in improving diabetes-preventive self-care behaviors among pre-diabetic Buddhist monks in upper northeastern Thailand.

Methods: A quasi-experimental study was conducted with 72 pre-diabetic monks, evenly allocated to intervention and comparison groups. The intervention group completed a 24-week structured health literacy program. Background: Universal health coverage (UHC) literacy is vital for promoting equitable access to healthcare. However, Thailand lacks a validated tool specifically designed to measure UHC literacy within its cultural context. This study aimed to develop and validate such a tool, named the Universal Health Coverage Literacy Scale for the Thai Context (UHCL:TH).

Methods: A two-phase cross-sectional study design was employed. Phase 1 involved a literature review and identification of the tool’s key components through a two-round Modified Delphi Method process conducted with 19 multidisciplinary experts.
