The problem for this study was that the Doctor of Philosophy degree curriculum at Baptist Bible Seminary does not develop communication skills and theological studies integration in its graduates. The purpose of this study was to develop a curriculum in interdisciplinary studies and communication skills for this program.

Two research questions were addressed in this study. What are the objectives, form, and content that should be included in an interdisciplinary studies and communication course curriculum for the Doctor of Philosophy program at Baptist Bible Seminary? What delivery system of this curriculum would best serve the students in this degree program? …

This article applies the moral principles of JudeoChristian ethics as a basis for urging the citzens of Alabama to insist that the state and local tax structure be reformed This article first empirically documents that Alabamas state and local tax structure harshly burdens the poorest Alabamians through regressive income and sales taxes This article then proves that Alabamas lowest property taxes per capita in the nation leaves the state and local governments unable to fund minimum needs such as education thereby denying the poorest Alabamians a minimum opportunity to improve their lives An original empirical study of the relative property …

Excerpt: "Rather than being an American innovation which was spread to missionary contexts abroad, the deaconess movement in the Methodist Episcopal Church began on the Methodist missionary frontiers of India and Germany in the late 19th century. The appeals to General Conference in April 1888 to establish the office of deaconess originated in the Bengal Conference in India and the Rock River Conference in Illinois. Theses: Doctorates and Masters

This study explored the transcending experience as described by visual artists that sometimes occurs during the art-making process. The exploration was conducted within a philosophical framework informed by the researcher's practice of Transcendental Meditation (TM). From this perspective, transcending is related to personal, inner (subjective), and ephemeral aesthetic experiences which never-the-less make a powerful contribution to the visual artist's experience of the creative process and to a lesser extent, the final product. The focus of the study was on the identification and documentation of the personal and subjective aspects of art-making. The study consisted of two parts; (a) this written …
