The Development, Implementation, And Evaluation Of A Student Guide Incorporating A Conceptual Framework In A Nursing Program Curriculum., Nancy Cowan

The conceptual framework used by Chabot College's Associate. Degree nursing program was criticized by the State Board of Nursing and by the nursing students as lacking in clarity and consistency in faculty implementation. The faculty subsequently discussed the need to formalized the conceptual framework and its implementation into a written guide book for use by both faculty and students. The purpose of this study was to develop, implement, and evaluate a guide book that would incorporate the conceptual framework of the nursing program's curriculum.

Recommendations For A Preparatory English Language Program For Hearing-Impaired College Students, Marguerite Re
UNLV Retrospective Theses & Dissertations
The purpose of this research was to develop recommendations for a preparatory English language program for hearing-impaired college students for Clark County Community College, Las Vegas, Nevada, and other concerned colleges that do not presently offer such a program. A questionnaire designed to elicit program information regarding the goals and objectives, instructional practices and procedures, assessment and evaluation, and major problems and solutions was developed. The questionnaire was sent to directors of current preparatory hearing-impaired English language programs in two-year, liberal arts colleges; An analysis of the data received revealed a good deal of diversity as well as considerable similarity …
