The issue of January 11, 1974 included an article about a fire at the Farnum House dorm and the fact that the fire extinguishers were useless. It was a small fire and no-one was injured. Wintsersession began with many students taking travel courses. The Carr House coffee house was established. Comics, classifieds, and events for RISD students were also mentioned.
