In this edition, the Young Men's Christian Association announces the poet Will Carleton's visit to campus. Carleton gave a talk on campus entitled "The Drama of Human Life." Construction work on the Gymnasium is described. The authors reflect on the new class schedule, which includes classes on Saturdays, as well as methods of study. Activities of the "Aethenean" organization are described. "Personals" and local advertisements follow.

This newspaper includes an article called Influences of the Mind on our Moral and Physical Life by Dr. H. H. Haas. Additionally, another article called An Important Manifesto discusses polygamy and includes 'Letter No. 2 from a Wooster Boy in Utah'. Later in the paper the programme which was given by the famous Innes 13th Regiment Band, of New York is included. The paper ends with local business advertisements.

This edition of the newspaper begins with an article on the death of Ellesworth G. Ritchie, who was serving a mission in China. This sombre piece is followed by an article on the success of Music Department at a public recital the previous week. Another article is dedicated to the recent demise of the Military Department at the University of Wooster, celebrated with much glee by the Editorial Staff. Lastly, the events of the first football game of the season is recounted and the scores listed. The paper ends with advertisements from local businesses.
