Charles J. Frenzer First World War poem
This poem, titled "Frenzers First Cruise," was written by Charles J. Frenzer during the First World War. Frenzer was stationed at the U.S. Naval Air Station Queenstown, Ireland. In this poem, Frenzer writes about his various feelings about being shipped out to Queenstown, wanting to serve in the military, wanting to fight in the frontlines, and regretting joining the U.S. Navy.

Mathias N. Miller First World War Correspondence Collection
This collection contains one letter from Mathias N. Miller to his niece, Mary Rita Plowman, nee Theiss. Miller was part of Company I, 56th Pioneer Infantry, US Army, and signed his letter from "Somewhere in France." Also included in the collection are a pressed flower and photographs of the family. One of the photographs feature some of the family in a parade on Armistice Day. In the letter, Miller wrote a poem using his niece's name.

This collection contains letters from Albert Parsons to his cousin's wife, Laura Stanley, during World War One. Parsons served in the American Expeditionary Forces. It is revealed that in one of the letters from Parsons that Laura Stanley wanted to write letters to one of his fellow soldiers, so Parsons chose Mack E. Franklin in his group. This collection contains 13 letters written by several soldiers to a woman named Dorothy Hornberger. A majority of the letters were written by her uncle, Clarence Lindstadt, describing camp life, training, talking about things back home. Three letters were written by other soldiers, possibly friends of Clarence. Some of the authors in this collection are connected with the authors in 2014.031.w.r "Lindstadt Brothers First World War Correspondence." Some of them were possible friends.
