How Facebook Is Being Used In Saudi Arabia As A News Source, Maha Ahmad Alshareef

Facebook has become a significant platform in Saudi Arabia as a news source. This study was designed to examine how Facebook is being used in Saudi Arabia as a news source. The aim of the study is to identify whether they believe Facebook, is a credible source of information compared to other social media platforms and whether Facebook is seen as a tool for citizen journalists. This research conducted an online survey and distributed it among users. A total of 550 Saudi Facebook users completed all questions in the survey. A Framing And Tone Analysis Of Donald Trump Comments On Immigration And Jobs In National Newspapers, Kevin Scott Edwards

The unique candidacy of Donald Trump provided an opportunity to study how he talked about issues, specifically the issues of immigration and jobs from a framing and tone persepctive. Such a perspective can provide insight as to how audiences perceive these issues. Specifically, this project examined the kind of framing Trump used in his comments on immigration and jobs:episodic or thematic, as well as the kinds of tone used in his comments:positive, negative, or neutral.
