Good evening. I am sitting upon a California door-step. I came out to look at the night and happened to think of you. I think of you often, but seldom so vividly as now. I often wonder why I cannot hear from you.
The full moon is a few degrees above the grand Sierra Nevadas and only one small cloud flake is in all the sky. Beautiful night, and something has spoken of Indiana.
