Charles William Frederick Dumas And The American Revolution (1775-1783 ), Allan J. Buach Jr. Jun 1966

Charles William Frederick Dumas And The American Revolution (1775-1783 ), Allan J. Buach Jr.

Student Work

No American historian has in recent ears attempted to elucidate the career of Charles William Freerick Dumas during the American Revolution. Diplomatic historians such as Samuel Flagg Demis and John Bassett Hoore have written that C. W. F. Dumas, although an important figure in our diplomatic history, has not yet been given the attention due his service to the United States. It is the purpose of this investigation to examine the Revolutionary service of this relatively unknown American agent.

A Proposal For A Section Of An Lds Church History Textbook For High School Students Containing The History Of The Church From 1898 To 1951, Arthur R. Bassett

Theses and Dissertations

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been organized for over one hundred and thirty-six years. The history of nearly a century of that time--1866 to the present--has not been adequately dealt with in any single book currently available for use on the high school level as an L. D. The masters of the sixteenth century brought to supreme climax the development of Mass and motet, chanson and madrigal; yet the Renaissance also witnessed a flowering of instrumental music, destined ultimately to supplant in importance the older, vocal art.
